HI, I setup a release module with 12 elements. At the moment I only have 11 releases, the question is why does the module repeat 1 of the releases? On the front end I can see 4 sets, each one with 3 releases, which is not correct because one set has an extra release. How can I fix this?

Hi again, any news? I left on the forum what WPML support team told me. There’s a problem with the artist module compatibility. If I leave 12 as the number of artists it shows the wrong language. If I leave 24 it shows both languages.

Hi! I need to duplicate or create a similar Post Type like “Artists” I need a post type called “Channels” or “Playlists” similar to “releases” Which plugin or how to achieve this? Because I need www.cntrlmusic.com/channels/xchanel and cntrlmusic.com/playlist/xplayist I want the exact same views and everythign all I need to duplicate that post type and create a new one with another name.

I am using that man… BUT:
I’ve created a new Post Type called “Playlists” also I’ve added a new Taxonomy called “Playlist-Genre” and a custom field to add Embeded content. When creating a Playlist post and adding a embed content It doesnt display the embeded content. Or any other content I tried with fields like audio or video and not showing anything. Can you help me man?Am I missing something?
And also… Where to choose the layout of the page of the new Post Type? For example right now if you see http://cntrlmusic.com/playlist/playlist-1/ I want to look like http://cntrlmusic.com/release/show-me-low/
About the template, you can’t use templates that are specific for special post types like releases or podcasts. That requires to do something that is integrated within the theme because those templates has a lot of custom fields. About the shortcodes, that seems to be a problem of the plugin for the custom types (which is strange because usually it shows shortcodes) so I think is a problem of the shortcodes of the plugin you are shortcoding. Which one is it?
I think you are trying to do something a bit to complex to achieve with some free plugins, maybe some custom solution wold work better for you…
Anyway in the custom type plugin you can choose to display the custom posts as pages, this should already do a better result…
Also in my home page I have a slider like the demo with my logo and some title but my logo loooks extremly big look: cntrlmusic.com and the title looks super little even tho my logo is 200×200 where can I edit like the font, font size and image size to achieve the same look like your demo? In the home slider the one with white vice logo.

Hi guys when I bought the theme on the speicificaitons you mention that there is 5 different Post Types for Releases… Where can I see the different post types? Because right now the release is more for a Album and I want more for Soundcloud releases… where can I see the 5 different post types releases and how to set it by default the new one that I choose.
There are 5 post types, no 5 for releases, which makes no sense. Post types are like releases, podcast, events… You can use release genres to create specific archives and link to them from the menu

ABOUT THE LOGO: the size of the logo needs to change the size of header and many other parts of website, so is a super long work. The layout doesn’t support this option to be changed. For this reason you can put a super big logo in the menu sidebar.

I have a few questions1. When i click the Shopping cart icon on the homepage at the bottom nothing happens. is there a cart page?
2. I need to be able to sell my release online… Will this theme support digital download of files upto 1GB?
3. After customers make online payment will the file download button appear on the site or a email link option will be sent?
4. Is it possible to make an ADD TO CART or BUY button below each album?
5. On homepage is it possible to show artist/albums thumbnails instead of slider?

Hi and thanks for the questions:
1. Actually the cart is linked to a # so is not sending you anywhere, you can put whatever link there even a product in the same site if you wish to sell albums directly.
2. The size limit is imposed by your server, anyway you can sell digital goods with woocommerce uploading files to any storage or in the same server via FTP. I wouldnt recommend uploading 1 GB files in your server as when people download them they suck all your bandwidth
3. these settings are up to you anyway is all very simple and managed with WooCommerce, the recommended plugin for this theme. All the WooCommerce support is offered by the WooCommerce crew, not from us, we only take care of visual integration. The manuals are anyway super easy and fast to do. I set up my first ecommerce with woocommerce in 1 hour.
4. Each album can have unlimited “buy” links, but notice products and albums are 2 different things. You can manually add the button to the description of a release or you can copy the add to cart link to any “buy” link of a release.
5. What you see in the demo is a whole possibility range if not shown there is not possible. You can build your own child theme adding custom modules and templates. You need some php/html development skills.
I would like to add a link in the modular menu that goes to another website when clicked. Is this possible?
Sure just add custom link and add the url in the menu section

issue solved: the youtube plugin you were using was breaking the theme. Fortunately you don’t need any youtube plugin, the theme contains a better plugin than the Wordpress native one. Instead of putting the youtube url in a page, link to the video to any piece of text. the theme will replace the link with a responsive video player, same for mixcloud and soundcloud links. I deactived the youtube plugin and all worked fine.
Also I updated the theme with latest theme version, which has a couple of small bugs fixed.
Remember to update your contents in case you used any shortcode for the inactive youtube plugin you had. Thanks! Igor

Hi, I have my vice child activated but I don’t want to use the music player how can I hide it? I manage to find in Customize panel Hide Music Player but I click it and save and it doesn’t hide it.

Hi, the website takes really a long time to load and maybe if you are using cachieng plugins this can be causing your issue as you have to clean the cache after after making changes. The light/dark color is saved with the standard wordpress customization system so is not even connected with the theme really, the theme simply reads the settings of the customizer.
I don’t have a cache plugin installed. I installed one just now and tried clearing cache. It is still switching back to the dark theme. Is it possible to just remove the dark theme css so it doesn’t go back to the dark theme? Can you think of anything else that could be causing this? Thanks for quick responses.
The cache must be in your browser, I see the site always light theme.

I’ve only one issue: the music player at the bottom of the page doesn’t show the “next track” and “show playlist” buttons. Inspecting the elements, I’ve seen that disabling the following CSS rule
hidden-xs { /* display: block !important; */ }
everything works fine.
Where can I change this CSS rule? Is this the right way to correct my problem?

Hi, next track and show playlists are hidden in very small device. If you change these rules all breaks as is a framework. In mobile view, only the important things can be shown and some things are hidden as doesn’t fit in the screen. Is the case of these buttons.

I can see that on a desktop monitor, the “previous track”, “next track” and “show/hide playlist” buttons are one below the other (and obviously I can see in the page only the “previous track” visibile and the upper part of the next button”
