Nice theme. I have a few questions.
1. On ‘home page1’ it shows the portfolio images in grey. How can you make them appear in colour before hovering over them?
2. For ’ Home > Portfolio > Gallery Style > Three Columns Grid’ how do I remove those three bottons that appear on hover. I want it to behave exactly the same way as the portfolio images on the home page (in colour).
3. How do I add the filter options on the ‘Home > Berlin Design Week’ page?

Hi. Liking the look of your theme so have some presales question.
1) Does the theme have an option to change the thumbnails on the portfolio page NOT to be square? For example can I set them the orginal aspect ratio of the original image, for example 16:9 instead of the current 1:1?
2) Can the portfolio page be setup with a masonry grid?
3) The background font of “Blog” undernerath for example the main title “Blog”, looks weird on mobile, difficult to read. Can I change the background font size and colour or even replace it with a responsive image?
4) On the portfolio page, can I setup the thumbnails to be clickable, and not show those 3 little buttons when you hover over the thumbnail? That, link, zoom and like button, can I remove those or choose in which instance to display them or not? For example some porfolio posts with have just 1 image, so those can be zoomed on click, others will have multiple images and multiple videos, makes sense for those to just open the post instead of zooming etc

Thanks for the interest in our theme.
1) Unfortunately this is not an option in our theme. The portfolio featured images will always be set to the default image size.
2) Unfortunately this is not an option in the Nouveau theme. However, our newer themes (Hazel, Stockholm, Bodega, Cabin, Brick, and Capri), have the option for a masonry portfolio, so you can take a look at them if you are interested in this functionality.
3) You can set up thumbnails to be clickable, and you can disable the three buttons via some custom css which our support team could provide. However, there is no option to disable certain buttons on certain portfolios. Also, if you disable the lightbox button, then clicking on the portfolio thumbnail will lead to the portfolio single item.

I am trying to install the WPBakery Visual Composer Layer but it is unable to install? Is there a reason why I can’t install it on a GoDaddy Hosted Wordpress? Also, LayerSlider WP is asking for a license, looked through documentation and unable to get any license number.

Is there a way to make all portfolio pieces load as soon as the user clicks to the portfolio page? Rather than having to scroll down and click ‘Load More’ my issue is if someone clicks a category without loading all it will only bring up the ones that have been loaded. Making the customer think that those are the only options in that category. The customer would have to scroll down to click ‘Load More’ and then click the category to sort to see our entire catalog.

Once you download the package from Theme Forest, you need to unzip it, and inside that folder you will find ‘nouveau.zip’ file. That file is the theme file and you need to upload that one.

I bought the theme, but I get errors when activated on a fresh WP install. Says WP_Widget is outdated since WP 4.3 and to use
__construct()instead. I don´t have this with with the twenty fifteen theme.

tried to install the plugins and it says “Your theme (Nouveau) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files”.
and: “An error occurred while installing LayerSlider WP: .....”
again: its a fresh WP install with a fresh woocommerce and a fresh wpml; nothing else.
removed all plugins, but still the same errors – tried another theme from themeforest without problems. will there be an update soon or shall I better buy another theme?

Hi there – Just a head’s up:
I noticed that the address for the required install of Layerslider seems to be incorrect. It is looking for an older version of the plugin than you have included in the zip files overall.
In other words, when one tries to do the required install of Layerslider after installing the Nouveau theme, it can’t find the plugin file because it is looking for layersliderwp-5.3.2.installable.zip when it should be looking for layersliderwp-5.4.0.installable.zip.
I was able to get around it, and others might as well, but you should fix that right away.

Most likely you’ve tried to upload whole archive downloaded from Theme Forest which shouldn’t be done. You need to locate nouveau.zip within and use it for theme upload process from Admin panel.

Hello,
I´m trying to change the look of the blog post page.
It works, when I just set up a page and choose for example the blog-masonry.php for it.
But when I go to Dashbord > Options > Reading and tell wordpress to take this page as the Blog-Page… then all my changes on the blog-masonry.php are gone.
So I guess it takes another .php template then.. but which one?

This is normal, settings from Admin panel > Reading will override settings for that page. So, solution is no to set any particular page to act as a blog page.
