Hi! I’ve just purchased the theme and it’s looking good – but I’m having issues with the boxed layout. I can’t seem to turn it off. And when it’s on (which is always now), the navigation doesn’t adjust the padding properly. I tried to reload the theme but I can’t seem to fix this bug. Any chance you could point me to a solution?

First of all, please, check whether you’re using the proper page template on the Page editor > right side settings > Page attributes > Template – set it to ‘For page builder’.

Hi! I’d like to buy this awesome theme, but I have a few questions before.
We have links added to “Direct link to work” in every portolio post. In some themes, you can go to that link by clicking on the image, and to the inner page by clicking on the title. Does Ronneby work the same way?
Also, I’ve seen a button in the portfolio inner pages that says “Visit project”. Is that a part of the layout itself or do we have to configure it for every portfolio post? This is important to us because we work wih affiliate program links, and we have over 800 portfolio posts already.

Hello! I have a question concerning the child theme. The ronneby_child contains only the style.css file, should it include the function.php file or I need to create it? If I’ll need to create it, what will I include in it?

The child theme includes only style.css file by default. It inherits all the files from the parent theme and, unless you create any modified files in child theme, it’ll be a direct copy of it. You can use child theme to modify the theme files and keep them safe while theme update.

I have two other issues please.
1) I’ve done the auto update as stated in the Ronneby documentation yesterday. I purchased this template 2 weeks ago & an update was released a week ago. Should I manually replace this updated template with the old one? Or it will automatically be updated (although it was released before I activated the auto update)
2) My screen resolution is 1366×768. I activated the coming soon page and only a part of it is visible.Should the pages automatically fit in according to the computer’s screen resolution? How can I solve this problem?

This message means that the updater couldn’t create new folder and update the theme. Mot probably, there are not sufficient permissions set for the folders of the theme. We can recommend you to update the theme manually, by clicking delete the theme and uploading the new one.
You can also mail us the FTP access details and we’ll check this issue too.

Hi, i am experiencing a problem with WPML integration, Widget: Recent Posts is showing posts from both languages, i have translated everything properly, even Taxonomy and Categories, but these widgets are dont make difference, i tried also WidgetLogic plugin, but it does not help (usually does).

Hi there,
I ended up buying the theme, but with the portfolio, I find it strange that the image on display is the feature images it self, and i can’t click on the image to open a lightbox. If i switch the portfolio to be a gallery, when i click on the image it opens a lightbox, but the lightbox resizes the image!
I asked before and you said lightbox doesn’t resize images…but it does.
How can i solve these problems?

Our One Page demo is biult using Visual Composer shortcodes so you can creare page using shortcodes as well, you don’t need to install our demo for this. The white space is optional as well, it can be enabled for every single page and disabled for a page as well.

1. We can recommend you to use The Events Calendar plugin for these purposes.
2. You can use social accounts module, or set them to be displayed in the header. Also, you can use an Image that can kink to any social network, etc.
3. Yes, you can add Single image module with a custom link.

1. Yes, you can edit the demo layouts after you install them, or create your own pages.
2. Yes, it’s possible to display posts from a certain category on a different type of the page.
3. You can create as many Team members as you need. As for the links, we’re working on adding option on URL for Team member at the moment and it’ll be added to the nearest theme update.

1. The Scrolling effect element can be used only with the image.
2. As for the positioning of the module on the page, it can work properly only when is positioned at the top of the page. So you can place it only in the first row of your page.

As for the quantity of these buttons, you’ll have to modify the file wp-content/themes/ronneby/inc/dfd_buttons.php (to create multiple buttons) and add Custom CSS style to display them properly.
