Hi, very nice theme. Just 2 things: - homepage demo beach house, can we add dates field on the form? - can we update calendar with .ics file? Thanks.
Good questions. I haven’t tested dates or ics but I’ll get back to you .
Hi, the calendar cannot be updated with ics at this time, are you wanting to import from another calendar? As for the date fields, formidable pro comes with date fields, we are shipping with the free version of Formidable.
Cheers!
Hi there
How does the Homepage calendar work if you have multiple rooms to offer. If 1 room is booked, but the other 2 are available, what would it show on the Homepage, Available or Not Available?
Thanks!
You can create as many calendars as you wish on the home page. Each calendar represents 1 room. If you wanted to have multiple calendars on the slider, then you can make 3 slides and have one on each. It’s very flexible.
hello there,
I’ve already asked some questions, and I deeply apologize to insist, but from more than 15 themes I’ve been following closely, Bellevue is simply the most beautiful solution out there (seriously), and your answers have been very kind and polite as well, which I highly appreciate.
But I’m concerned about the functionality. I see Bellevue is very focused on single Hotel bookings; and as far as I know it works entirely with WP Booking + WooCommerce (in case a complete checkout wants to be made), I have these concerns:- How good is the integration between these two plugins? is it easy to simply create a package and then integrate it with WP Booking somehow? (how would WooCommerce+WPBooking handle the disponibility for reservations?)
- Can I sell fixed blocks of disponibility with WP booking and WooCommerce? (let’s say sell 5 days in January, very specific)
Sorry to be such a hassle… Thank you very much for your time.
HI there, no problem at all. I’m happy to answer questions.
The integration between Woo and the Booking system is as simple as creating a product in WooCommerce and then adding that product id to a calendar shortcode. The theme tracks how many days are booked and then sets the quantity of the woocommerce product appropriately.
The way I have it working in the demo is pretty straightforward. You choose your dates on the calendar, then provide your contact details, once you click click submit, an add to cart button appears allowing the customer to pay for the room right away via WooCommerce checkout.
The dates are marked as pending so they can’t be reserved by anyone else. Once the payment has been confirmed, then the dates need to be updated to ‘booked’ manually by the manger. This allows the site manager a level of control and flexibility.
I hope that makes sense. If you have any more questions please let us know. We would like to make sure that this is a good fit for your unique project.
Hello,
I am considering to purchase this theme. A couple of questions:
1) I need this theme for a hotel in Russia, therefore I need to be able to translate everything (front-office, back-office, system messages) to Russian. Will I be able to do that?
2) As I understand, WPBooking supports different languages and could be manually translated into Russian? Is it possible to create invoices directly from wpBooking? Is it possible to give access only to the booking system on the website, for example, to the receptionists of the hotel (so they can manage only that part of the process)?
3) In the hotel, I also have other booking-based services, such as sauna, for example. Is it possible to build a separate calendar and booking system based on booking specific hours for the sauna?
Hi, thanks.
1) It’s very easy to translate the front-end with this plugin, it actually already comes with translation for Russian. The back-office can be translated as well with a program called poedit, which is free. This requires a few extra steps but it is possible.
2) This theme supports WooCommerce so you might be able to do your invoicing through WooCommerce or a WooCommerce plugin. The calendars can all be associated with a WooCommerce product allowing for easy online payment and record keeping. You can assign a user to a specific calendar, the user needs to have at least an Editor role.
3) The calendars can be associated with anything (product or sevice) however it only supports full days or changeovers (half days). It won’t support hours or time slots. For this you could purchase booked http://codecanyon.net/item/booked-appointment-booking-for-wordpress/9466968 which provides this feature. The theme works well with the booked calendar as well.
I hope I have answered your questions well
Hi there,
I’d like to know the following: 1. Can I add vacation packages (with the hotel information) and make reservations based on availability accordingly?
Thank you!
Hello, yes, each calendar is managed independently from anything else so you can pair any number of calendars up with anything else like packages. When it comes to woocommerce (or taking online payment), you’ll need to create a product that summarizes the package as one product with one price. So The Master Suite + Free Tickets, would be one product and you can easily create a calendar specifically for that package. If I”m understanding your question, the short answer is yes.
Can a weather widget be implemented?
Hello! Yes the side bar is widget ready
Yes
nice theme, i whish you good luck with the sales
!
Thanks!!
How does the calender work buddy? We have 2 holiday lets (a 8 person bed room lodge, and a B&B)... For both of these, we link them to a booking system called FreetoBook (http://freetobook.com/) My question is, can I use your calenders which look smart, alongside side my 3rd party booking system?
Yes, that’s a great use case scenario. The WP Booking System is every easy to update so you can take your bookings via FreetoBook and then update the availability calendar on your new website using the wp booking system. Here is short video showing you a little more detail about WP Booking System . https://youtu.be/8YrNi0UoVA4 – Let us know if you have any other questions.
or you can take the bookings via WP Booking System and then update your FreetoBook manually. It’s flexible either way.
Hi there,
I plan on building a very robust platform for our own private hotel list, do you know if wp-booking is powerful enough for such purposes? I’d need to:- 1. Add Hotels on-demand (and manage their availability, etc
- 2. Hotels having their ‘partner’ section allowing them to modify their hotel details
- 3. Such hotels receiving the orders accordingly online so the reservation can be achieved.
Is that possible with what this theme includes? Thank you very much for your time!
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. This sounds like a custom job but the theme could be be a great boiler plate for you. The Booking system allows multiple calendars and multiple forms. You can also use a WordPress network to divide the site up into multiple sub sites, then you can activate the plugin independently for each site. Dividing orders up to go to different hotels might be a stretch but I’m sure you could do that with a WordPress Network aka multisite. Overall you will need some customization. I hope this helps answer your questions.
Hi there, thank you very much for your response. As far as I know wp-booking is intended for only one hotel, right?... May I ask you if you know of any plugin that supports multiple hotels? (just in case you’ve hard of any)
The multisite looks good although it doesn’t seem centralized enough :/
Thank you very much for your time, sir!
Actually WP Booking is hotel independent, it’s made up of multiple calendars and forms so you could really have multiple hotels running the same system. The catch is that there are not user roles for managing calendars independently so in that sense yes it’s really designed for a single hotel.
If you are doing some serious custom development, check out birchpress. Good luck!
Congrats ! Great work GLWS
Thanks.
Do you have or have plans to release an HTML version? Thanks!
Hello! Thanks for your question. Perhaps in the future. At the moment Bellevue supports WordPress
Nice and amazing Template. Good Luck With Sales

Nice theme! One question, can you integrate payments on the booking form? My client needs it to work that way
We support WooCommerce so you can use that to request / accept payments and deposits.

great theme !
Sweet! Thanks for stopping by.
Just tried testing the booking enquiry functionality and it doesn’t work properly at all. When selecting available dates and then submitting my name and email, I get the following message:
“The form was successfully submitted.”
What’s supposed to happen?
Thank you. Yes this is working. When you submit your dates, the email goes to the admin and your dates are set to pending until they confirm with you. At that time the dates will be set to ‘booked’.
The success message is something you can customize. I just updated it to now say “Thank you for booking with us. We will be in touch to confirm your dates very soon.” That’s much more clear. Thanks for the note!
