Hi, I’m taking over one of my client side which is running Modernize theme but it’s quite an old version, but I’m unclear of the version but it doesn’t have the full-width layout option.
A question here if I update their theme to latest one (and I’ll purchase a new license here), and change their current boxed layout to full width one, do I get to adjust the container width or how many things are going to be affected?
I can’t tell how much exactly will affected. It depends on how much you customize theme’s code. If you didn’t, then you can update the theme directly. But if you did, you have to do the custmization again.
All content in page / posts will still remain
Understood, yes I can see there’s some customizations but it’s in a separate css file.
If we update to the latest version and use full width, the slider also won’t stretch to full width right?
Any way to icnrease the content area/container width? As I don’t see it in the CSS file.

Sorry It won’t go full 100% width of screen size. Theme structure wasn’t designed for that purpose since the first time.

nope, you can go with 4.3 , just make sure that all your plugins are compatible as well
Anything slider does not seem to be working with vimeo embeds. From a page I choose anything slider as the top slider type. Then I grab a random image as a placeholder. I edit that image and set it to link type Link to Video. Then for the Video Path I have tried the full vimeo embed, as well as just the vimeo video url, and also just the vimeo video id… all of which produce the Ooops! The embed code for this video is not valid.
I inspected the first slide which would be the vimeo video with this oops default vimeo image… The iframe src is all scrambled so it seems what ever you are using is breaking these links. I will check the page options file and see if I can resolve it.
