I updated my theme today, but there are a few issues.
Visual composer is outdated. Current theme has 4.6.1. Need 4.7
Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer is outdated. Current theme has 3.13.1. Need 3.13.4
Where can I get the updated plugins? The update feature for plugins in wordpress doesn’t work for these.
Problems solved.
I was able to update all but the visual composer through the Appearance > Install Plugins tool, and I followed the instructions you had previously given for the visual composer to deactivate > delete > reinstall via Appearance > Install Plugins, and everything is back to 100%
Porto is a great theme but it does seem quite high maintenance….
Hi, We added almost the features that we are going to add. You can update porto theme if you need to update this theme. Before update, you can check the change logs.

Hi, thanks for your fast response. Yes I tried that and the only shown pages are from woocomerce pages. Actually if you show all the pages, just woocommerce pages that you find. There are no dummy pages from Porto.

I’ve to change the background gradient (not two color) and some other little tweaks- (which can’t be changed via Porto-Admin).
So I tried to make these changes via “style.css” (compiled from SCSS) in my Child-Theme. But not all changes seems to work. Background-Example:

It took some time to realize, that the style.css and other Porto stylesheets are loaded after the style.css of the Child-Theme!
How to change this? I want the style.css of Child-Theme loaded at last?

that’s not the problem. The gradients are working, but only on .header-main. The reason for this, is that the Porto CSSs overwrites the stylesheet of my Child-Theme.

I want the Child-Theme loaded at the end, as last loaded CSS file. And I don’t like to work with important if that’s not necessary.

Hi, Please upload theme and regenerate default css files in Theme Options > Skin > Compile Default CSS. If you are use porto 2.5 or older, you should update the plugins in Appearance > Install Plugins. Regards.
On the site, the add to cart button for single products etc has a little shopping cart. I would like to remove it. How do I remove it?

I may have not been clear. I don’t want to remove the entire add to cart button and options. JUST the little cart icon that is on the button. I am guessing its in the css somewhere, but I can’t find it.

As you can tell, I’m quite passionate about this topic because both the developers of this theme and myself share the same interests. That interest is to keep them available here and up to par with the requirements and expectations of Envato. If they do not, they could and may be removed from Envato, and I will not longer be able to download this theme.
Envato has strict guides in providing documentation and support for your products seamlessly. They have removed previous products that I’ve bought (removing access to the files I paid for) because of this exact reason.
Did you know that Porto is owned by “Okler”? There is a plain PHP version of Porto available here for $16. Okler had once paid a company named “SpyroPress” to create a WordPress version of it. SpyroPress created and sold a WordPress version of Porto here on Theme Forest for $60. I bought a copy of it, and shortly after it was deleted and removed for accessible downloads.
Envato told me that they removed the Porto Wordpress Theme created by SpyroPress because they did not provide proper support and documentation that was expected by Envato. So I am passionate about keeping all users and developers compliant with Envatos Terms.
I do not care about the web host issues. If you go into the documentation folder of the theme files, you will see a text file with a link to the documentation, for online reading only. I know that given the previous issues in keeping a compliant “WordPress Porto” that they would ensure that there is an offline copy of the documentation for the theme provided in the download, like all the other developers do here. I have 50+ products here and also see that they provided offline documentation for their themes and plugins, with the download.
This theme has been sold 2213 times for $60. Even though they share with Envato, that’s $130,567 to share. They also have had a previous version of Porto removed, requiring me to buy a new version of it.. So I am sorry if using CAPS in one word upsets them. They can have the most redundant web host, or offline documentation created when they make that much, from one file.

P.S. the initial setup of this theme (and use of an internal feature) requires accessing the developers website. When their website is offline, it actually corrupts the setup and provides and changes your database details with invalid data. Not only is their website down, but its in control and displaying information in an unintended manor by a third party. So when my server connects to it, the resources being sent to my server are not intended by the developer. They need to consider security when they create a theme that connects thousands of websites/servers to a resource not controlled by them.

Chippymedia I can appreciate your frustrations but please try and calm down, the problem is to do with the Developer’s Web Host and beyond the Developer’s control. Please bear in mind that it’s not in the Developer’s best interest to inconvenience customers this way.
I’ve sent a refund request as your theme import/setup cannot work while your site is down. Your documentation is not provided within the theme or download files also. You link to documentation on your OFFLINE website.

IMPORTANT: You need to provide offline documentation, within the theme files, if you can’t keep your website online and free of security issues. I am super angry that you have NO WAY to access documentation for this theme. I am messaging Envato too.

Hi, Please configure again Top Navigation and View Switcher, Currency Switcher menu in Appearance > Menus. You can remove these menus and the theme locations.
