If you’ve set the exact width and the logo doesn’t change much in dimensions then you won’t have a problem, but you will always use another logo in the sticky menu because you can’t have the original one in two places.

It seems strange, when you install the demo content it will install all the pages and settings just as the demo page.

1. There isn’t any exact size for the logo, you can use any size but make sure you use the size twice bigger because it is better for retina devices to be high quality.

2. If you use the transparent header then you can upload it there too but if you don’t there is no need to.

3. We can hide it somehow, just provide us a link to your site.

You can try uninstalling the theme and installing it from the beginning, first install the theme and then the child theme.

The best and easiest way to install the demo content is from the WP admin panel, but sometimes it doesn’t work so you have to do it manually.

If you want to translate the site then this is the best plugin for translation, our theme supports the plugin and it is a premium plugin yes, you need to purchase it first if you want to use it.

I will try that – I only have 1 question left according the demo content in the WP admin panel: I would normal install the Aurum demo content, but should I instead install the demo where it says WPML? I suppose it’s still the Aurum theme? And if it´s a yes to install the WPML demo instead, is it okay to do it before I buy the plugin?

Toys menu with a mega menu to lower categories like : Wooden toys etc.

I’m learning a lot, but all the themes are different

1. I would like to change my main menu in the fashion theme.

Instead of the current link: Home | Shop | Pages | Blog | etc. I would like the categories in the main menu: Toys | Kids in Bath | Bedroom

BUT I would like the url-structure to be like the shop: www.mysite.dk/kids

and not like: www.mysite.dk//produkt-kategori/kids/

I would like the main menu like: Jewelry, but with a ‘home’ button with a home icon. And the categori pages should be with left sidebar.

Can you help me? It would mean a lot!

If you want to add home button with icon, just go to Appearance > Menus.

I have some double Woocommerce site: Cart, Check out, Shop, My acount, 1 in my language and 1 in english.

Since I would like to have Multi-language, that might be okay.

BUT the are not identical: Shop: the whole shop layout only seems to be on the English page, with products and sidebar etc. – The Danish Shop page is empty?

Cart: The layout is different, the Danish layout is full width and the English page is not.

Check out: The Danish check out page looke like the cart page: CART EMPTY – and the English page is empty.

My account: The look identical.

1. As I said this is a WooCommerce & WordPress related issue, I cannot give you a proper answer for this, so better ask them directly in their forums.

2. If you’re using just one language then no need to keep two pages, but if you’re having more than a language then WPML will create some pages in another format which means the pages you created do not really valid.

3. You will just need to install it just like other plugins.

4. We’re having some problems with some strings not being translatable, can you help us by telling which are these words? We are currently working on the new theme update.

5. This is the layout of that kind of header, it doesn’t include the cart and the only way to have it is by adding it in the menu as you did.

I don’t want to run into problems when I install WPML – So just to be clear: should I keep the danish pages and delete the English pages? or should I keep them both?

I just got an email telling me, that there’s an update to the theme.

How do I update?

When I go to > Envato Toolkit > Theme > update automatically, I get a message saying: “Updating this theme will lose any customizations you have made.”

I work in the Child theme, should I just disregard the message and install the update?

I have all the time had an issue with Envato not being installed!? (The same with Visual Composer)

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

The message “Updating this theme will lose any customizations you have made.” is default on that plugin, but don’t worry about that

Then in order to update plugins don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

I know that the basket icon works fine, I have already tried it!

I keep telling you, that I want the CART icon to display and it dosen’t work. I don’t want the basket!

And since the CART icon is represented on the entypo list, it should work, right!?

I managed to get it to repeat itself, but I’m not sure exactly what’s causing it. I’m right now editing my “Press” page (basic visual composer page with a Testimonials module running) and whenever I update it, the slug changes from “press” to “gist-sept-2015” the first testimonial in the database.

Not sure if that helps.

Another note: for some reason the page loads up in Classic Mode despite the fact that all my other pages load up in Backend Mode. And if I switch to Backend Mode and hit Update, when the page reloads the slug has been replaced.

I can basically replicate the issue now:

1. Edit the Page 2. Switch from Classic Mode to Backend Mode 3. Click Update

After the page reloads, it will be back to Classic Mode and now the page slug has changed to that of the first product in the database.

Does it absolutely have to be that permalink format? We also have a number of blog posts, so removing the year/month is less than ideal.

Hi! I added the code to my functions.php and changed author_title_meta to bk_author (the slug for the author name attribute) but it’s still not working. Did I miss something?

I did a get_post_meta( get_the_id() ); to look under the hood and the array is completely empty. Is the product id not carrying over for some reason?

1. Do you want to get the original images in the theme so they wont be cropped and the quality will be very high, but they will take a bit time to load.

2. There isn’t any perfect size for the slider but you will have to put your image as large as you can because the quality will be better.

3. The only way to display featured products is by choosing the items one by one with the “Build Query” option.

4. This is something the user has done manually by modifying his own theme files.

The size (300px) on Desktop is ideal for me. Small I would not make it. Is there another solution to this? For example, one can upload option woman a different size for smartphones. Many themes have such options.
