How can I add a top navigation menu easily using the e-commerce layout option #10. I see the option exists in menu but its probably not coded in for this theme layout. I need both (main menu + side menu + a new top navigation.)

i did that but it did not solve the problem. So i did a fresh installation. Now after installing plugins it give 500 internal error? can you please check?

I need to hide the sidebar products only for the blog . The function below the sidebar.php does not work :

I think we found a bug in the theme, when you are not logged in and you want to pay for some products(you are in the checkout page), if you don’t enter values for all required fields, then you get a notification error message at the top of the website, however if you try to submit the form again, then more error boxes appear at the top although they are empty.

Hi, Porto theme have the catalog mode options in Theme Options. You don’t need to purchase a premium plugin.

Hi, I had purchased this theme twice before but than the theme and owner was no longer available on themeforest due to not responsing to peoples support.. NOW are you the same Author and if so how do i get Updates a i had previously purchased this theme?
The original Porto wordpress theme was removed permanently due to lack customer service, and this is completely new different with old one. You should contact the author Spyropress to get support for previous version.
So how is this possible to be completely different.. it looks like the same theme and the same name for the theme?? I wont get any help from Spyropress
You should purchase new license to get this theme. And there are much differences between 2 versions, just based on same name and styling.
So will you maintain good support?
You can enjoy new theme updates, but need to purchase support extension to get support according to Envato support policy.
If you purchase now, you can get 6 months of support included.

But your saying the Pronto theme from Spyro i purchased are totally different to yours so i wont be able to update the theme unless i purchase yours and start FRESH correct?
Yeah, both themes are based on different framework, difficult to upgrade theme version from old one.

Conditional menus (Role based / Logged in or not) don’t seem possible with any of the usual plugins…
I installed ultimate members plugin just to see if the conditional menu functions would work and that actually did. But in my case that plugin digs too deep and adds way to much to our environment to be reasonable method to just get some kind of conditional menu functionality
Advice?
Porto theme don’t have this feature. We are going to add the this function in the future.
its not feature its a function thats possible in even a base install… this because you have a very custom menu and didn’t consider this while building in the beginning … it’s frustrating after many requests for issues Ive received no solutions

How can I change the size of the product thumbnail on the cart page? Right now the image is only 90×36 pixels. I need it bigger so customers can see what they are purchasing.

Please change the image sizes in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Display. You should check “Hard Crop”.
I submitted a couple emails with questions to the theme one being 24hrs ago and the other being about 5 hours ago and I have not received a response yet. On my product category pages I placed the same sidebar that you have (http://newsmartwave.net/wordpress/porto/demo11/product-category/women/) but mine neither shows the ”+” to expand nor displays the subcategories as yours. It only shows categories and not subcategories.

Hi, It’s impossible. You can hide only the thumbnails. You can configure this in Woocommerce > Product Image & Zoom.
Hi, When setting up a product with colour variations I assign a image to each variation…how can I get the variation to also show as a thumbnail under the main image? If I setup the product gallery I get a duplicate thumbnail when selecting a variation.
Hi, It’s impossible to show the product gallery per the variation color. You can change only the main image. This is woocommerce default feature.

You should install third party woocommerce plugin like http://codecanyon.net/item/woothumbs-awesome-product-imagery/2867927 And remove the following template file: porto/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php and product-thumbnails.php
