Hi there, i am really interested in buying this theme, however i need to know if you are planning on optimizing it. You are saying how the theme uses best code practices etc, yet there are 15!! scripts loaded on a basic page (http://demo.select-themes.com/capri1/services/) just from your theme (i am not even counting woocommerce or plugin scripts, which should be selectively loaded as well). Surely you don’t need all 15 to be loaded just to display a basic grid layout (i can see that’s handled by VC anyway)... so yea.. theme looks nice but it would be nice if it was also built properly. Also do you support hooks to make child theme usage easier?

Hello! First of all, congratulations for a great theme! I really love it and have almost decided to buy it. There is a couple of things though that I need to make sure before i proceed.
1- On the left hand side corner of the menu bar, can I upload my logo there or can it only be text? Because of the way you designed the theme, all the logos (ex: banana, guava, kiwi, etc) look like plain text and I just want to make sure that I’ll be able to replace it with a logo (tiff, jpg, etc).
2- If I don’t find the font that I want, can I upload one that I bought on the internet and use it?
3- If I understood correctly, this theme is multilingual and I’ll be able to have a website in many languages, is that right?
Sorry for all the questions. I just want to be totally sure about everything so I don’t have any bad surprises later. Thanks for your help!

1) What you see on our demo site is actually an image. So, answer is positive, you can use your own instead.
2) Yes you can.
3) To be more precise, site that runs our theme can be multilingual. Our theme is compatible with WPML multilingual plugin.

Hi, I have received an e-mail telling me to update the WP Visual Composer as there is a security issue, but I was told I had to contact the theme providers directly to provide an update link. All the other avenues are telling me I have to pay additional money, which isn’t fair since it isn’t the theme buyers’ fault.

Just upgrade your theme to latest version and you will gain latest plugins installations as well. Then, deactivate and delete them (Layer Slider and Visual Composer), and follow onscreen instructions from warning message in your top section of admin panel saying you’re missing required plugins.

Firstly great theme! One of the best I have used!
I am just stuck on one element. I am trying to create a page like your demo http://demo.select-themes.com/capri1/gallery-one/ I have imported the demo data and when I click to edoit page using visual composer the element “Portfolio List” is present and all the settings are set up, however on my website nothing is showing.
I have found the portfolio items and I can edit those easily but I am stuck on how to have images like these in the demo display and link to the correct portfolio item.
I am sure it is something simple but I am completely stuck!

Your images aren’t same in size, therefore, gap is created. Note that this is gallery in grid, not masonry one.

Really? That’s strange because I have another gallery (http://namouchesite.theonepixel.com/portfolio/um-brinde-aos-noivos/) where the images have the same size (horizontal: 700×393 and vertical: 393×700) and it still looks a bit messy as you can see in some spaces between the columns… Is there a solutions to keep this right?

Note that those images on last link aren’t same in size. Some are portrait orientated and some landscape, therefore, not all of them have matching width and matching height.
Ok. It’s a pity because in other types of galleries this does not happen (example: http://namouchesite.theonepixel.com/en/portfolio/welcome-to-the-world-zachary/). Anyway, is there a possibility to use a masonry gallery within this theme to avoid this?
And just one more doubt, is this (http://namouchesite.theonepixel.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Screen-Shot-2015-10-07-at-22.39.00.png) also “normal”?

Regarding using a masonry gallery, you can use a masonry gallery for your portfolio list by setting the portfolio list template field to “masonry”, but unfortunately there is no option to use a masonry gallery for portfolio single items.

Hey guys! First of all, cherers on a great theme, I am really pleased with it! I have a quick question to make: We are developing a site for a client on your theme and the demo we chose to make the design was Clementine. Our client has six main services and in the Clementine homepage you have three interactive banners. I imported the demo data to build the site over it. In our design we use those three initial Interactive Banners and add another three for the rest of the services. In the demo you have a clean, clear picture that shows a hover effect as well as it shows the title. I have tryed over and over to get the same (even importing and working on the demo data), gone through the docs page and testing different set up’s in the Select Options – Elements – Interactive banners options. could you tell me how to set the setting to get exactly the same interactive banners that you have in Clementine’s homepages demo site? (clean and clear picture with no hover, shade grey with title on hover)

Another quick question. In one of our pages (http://granada.com.ar/chopera/) I am using a Qode Carousel to show a few beer brands logo’s that our client work with. We have only 4 logos and I can’t get to show 4 o 3 logos, it always shows 5 no matter what I cahnge on the configuration. The same as the banners, I am pretty lost in this one too.

1) Portfolio item page – when on a selected portfolio item page, under custom field, is it possible to have “Category” text (i.e. “Photography”) as active links? I need them to list all the works from selected category on a new page. 2) Same question, but regarding to “Client” tag – can we add a “Client” tag to single project, and then have the option to list all the works by selected client?

Regarding #2), the mechanism we need should be the same as under 1) – let’s say we’re on this page ( http://demo.select-themes.com/capri2/portfolio_page/pale-skin-apparel/ ) Under right sidebar, beneath “Category: Fashion” (and you say this “Fashion” can’t be a hyperlink) we have “Client: XYZ” -> are you saying that this “XYZ” part could be a hyperlink which lists all the works by this client? This is what I meant to ask.

1) Naturally it’s possible with custom code. Direct link to category will be http://yoursite.com/portfolio-category/category-name
2) It also can’t be linked on portfolio single page, and custom coding is needed in order to do so. Direct link to tag will be http://youriste.com/portfolio-tag/tag-name

Regarding Layer Slider, note that we’ve bought extended license which granted us right to distribute this plugin as a bundle. Due to TF regulations we can’t share license key with our customers. However, we have obligation to our customers to include latest plugin version in current theme version and to provide support for it.
Still considering purchasing this theme, but hesitant since it only ranks 41/100 in Google’s Page Speed Insights analyzer for desktop display (using link: http://demo.select-themes.com/capri/#demos). Any reason why it scores so low and how to possibly improve it when actually using it on a real live site?

Note that we choose to use large images with max quality. Those images aren’t optimized for web, since we wanted to gain better visual experience.
But, user can compress images and videos to some optimal quality which won’t have too much weight and install caching plugin. Those two, combined with faster sever (reducing response time) is basic optimization for all WP based sites, no matter what theme is activated.

Those icons are applied as shortcode pasted in text widget which is assigned to dedicated header widget area. So, navigate to Admin panel > Appearance > Widgets, locate header widget area of your choice and edit text widget in it, shortcode consist of codes but hopefully you will be able to see url which needs to be changed.

Quick question: When I change the background image or the background-color behind a price in a price table, it doesn’t appear on the front. In theme settings the background is transparant and in my childtheme css are no lines affecting the background of the prices, but it still remains yellow. Hope you can help me! Great theme btw! Hi, Is there a way for me to log in and see my active ticket if it’s private? I’ve used poedit and translated all theme strings. Then I’ve put the .po .mo files on languages directory, but it doesnt work
