ThemeFusion Support recently replied to a support inquiry I had about the Included Twitter widget parsing/displaying text that cannot be interpret as utf-8 (and failing HTML validation) with a suggestion to use a different plugin until you update this plugin. Can you please 1) tell me which plugin you recommend 2) provide an ETA for a fix ( ??)

my client has 2 sides to their business, so they would like a main site (lets call it ‘A’) and when you click through to site B it has a separate menu, it’s own posts etc – is that possible with Avada or would it need a subdomain?

Yes, that is certainly possible. You can control a range of options and features, like menus, sliders, layouts etc, on page by page basis using the in-page Fusion Options and do not have to install on a secondary domain.

Hi I have bought Avada and it is fantastic. My problem is that I did not apply the demos and I have constructed many pages to decide on the menu layout. From what I have read and seen on videos it seems to import over one hundred pages. Do I decide on a few layouts I like and make them private and delete the rest? I also have another site I may decide on Avada for in a similar state. I will also be buying another license for another site that is not setup yet and want to do it right the first time.

You have a few options:
1 – If you are referring to the classic demo then we have this help file where y you can import individual pages -> https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/demo-content-info/import-individual-pages/ – we do not have this for the other demos unfortunately
2 – You can import any of the demos and then will have to delete the pages & posts you don’t want, manually
3 – Set up a Staging site, separate to one you are working on, import the demo of your choice and just copy over the desired page/post content and delete the Staging site after you are done

No Worries – I bought my second license last night and installed all the classic demos on a site with a home page and a new About Me page. I have just created a new menu for the real site and will keep my Avada menu on a side panel of a private page. I am about to buy my third copy tonight to make a 2 month problem go away with 31 custom side panels and control of the footer. Happy but busy days are here.

1 – It can be hard to tell 100% as we have not tested that specific plugin, but should be fine
2 – Yes it does. You need to purchase a license for each install of the theme. http://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular

I like some of the DEMO content from each the “Avada – Architecture”, the “Avada – Fashion” and the “Avada – Hotel” DEMOs. Can I install al three DEMOs at the same time to get access to some of the page layouts of each? If not, is there a better way to access the code for page layouts in different DEMOs?

Hi there! Is there a way to prevent Avada from creating multiple versions of uploaded images at different dimensions? I understand the reason why they’re there but they new images are automatically saved at a higher than necessary resolution for me and they’re slowing down my server.

You can change the quality of the created images. Open Avada/includes/class-avada-images.php and find
public function image_full_quality( $quality ) {
return 100;
}
Replace the 100 by a lower value. That is the quality ranging from 0 – 100.

Great! It worked for the JPGs but not my PNGs (8bit). Anything I can do about that?
Yes that will only work for jpegs, not pngs. PNGs need to be optimized before you upload them, try the “image alpha” app, its free and works wonders.

I recently used this template on http://nvboatco.com and I have updated all the memory sizes and everything it asked me to do.. but every now and then the template just loads a blank white page??? I cant have that, my customers will get mad!

A random blank white page will not be related to the theme, it will be something dealing with the server configuration or service itself. When it happens, does it give you any message? We’d recommend getting in touch with your hoster and explain to them what is going on.

Is there a way to add a bottom shadow on the flip boxes? I really like the shadow on the 4th image frame in your demo (curved bottom shadow).

Hi Avada team,
I updated to woocommerce 2.4.7 and am on WP 4.3.1. Post updating I have started getting the “outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files”
Avada/Avada/woocommerce/checkout/form-pay.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 2.4.7
Is there a new version coming soon and till such time can this message be safely ignored.
