Hi Howard, the theme was designed for vacation rentals so I think it will be an excellent fit for you. Yes, you can add as many vacation rentals as you like.
I”m not sure which demo would be best for you. What type of vacation rentals do you run? We made 7 demos because there are different flavours. We think they are all great and very flexible so you can change the layout around on all of them.

Ah, well all the demos are very similar, they just have different imagery. So the http://demo.themovation.com/bellevue/beachhouse/ is nice because it has lots of beach front photos that you could use. It could also support as many locations as you like. Instead of the rooms you can have your studio and 1 bedroom apartment. The layout is flexible once you install the demo content, you can change things around just like a multi purpose theme.

Hi. I installed the theme, loaded the demo, clicked here and there, and everything seems to be fine, except one thing. At the homepage there are some boxes, including one flexslider. When it is turned on, the page is loading around 10 seconds (“progress whirl” animates then), which is very long. When off (and the rest of the added boxes are left turned on) – the page loads immediately. It does not depend on which slider is selected. Even the dummy slider, created with default options and with no background image, causes such behavior. The slider on the page is selected individually, not by group. In database there are added only 2 sliders. Any idea of what can be the source of the problem?

hi so I purchased your theme and so far so good. however I’ve just installed the parent theme, installed & activated all plugins and now I’m ready to install the child theme but I get this message:
“This theme requires a parent theme. Checking if it is installed…
The parent theme could not be found. You will need to install the parent theme, bellevue, before you can use this child theme.”
bit weird eh as I have literally just installed the parent them minutes before this. appreciate any advice you can offer.
Did you post a ticket on our support system? I mentioned that this was probably due to an incorrect name of the theme folder. It should be named “bellevue”, if it’s named anything else the child theme won’t be able to see it. Feel free to send us a private message with access and we can take a look. I am looking to use this theme for a Tourism site. Does the booking calendar always show on particular rooms? I am planning on using the rooms as activities people can view but don’t want any booking elements.
Also, if you have more than 6 rooms on the home page, do they ALL show or does it hide some?

RE: Booking Cal. You can show or hide this anywhere you like. It’s a shortcode so it’s added and removed very easily. It’s very flexible.

It sounds awesome. Does the theme support multiple sections? ie. If I wanted to do Activities, Places to Eat, Places to Stay, etc? Could each section support your awesome block section that highlights the squares on hover over? Does that make sense?
Yes the theme supports multiple sections, you can order them how you like. You can use the predefined pages from the demo import or you can build your own. It’s very flexible that way.

Hi! For the slider there are two options, Master Slider and Flex, if you are using Flex then you can use padding to adjust the height as the images you add are background images. Master Slider allows you to specify the height. I’m very pleased your purchased. I”m sure you’ll enjoy the theme once you see how everything is laid out. Yes actually, The booking payment process is tied in with WooCommerce so that is where you can print out an invoice.

Hello! Thanks for the question. Yes you can use master slider to add video backgrounds and you can have as many as you like . It’s added with a short code.

Hi,
On a desktop computer, when I go into print preview on this theme, the site becomes very elongated, almost as if you are viewing the website on a mobile device.
How can I overcome this? I would like it to be able to print the site as you would see it at full width on a desktop computer.

Hey this is a good question. Could it possibly be a printer setting? Sometimes printers will allow you to print full view or scale to fit on one page.
Must be a browser problem, I get the problem in Chrome, but trying it in internet explorer the problem seems to go away. Wondered if there is a css styling for print that chrome isn’t recognising or conflicting with?
Also when in print preview, when you tick print background colours and images, it doesn’t show any background colours or images. Is this something to do with a CSS Styling again for ‘eco friendly printing’?

Hi, you can add a slider to the top of the page and you can have the prev / next on that move through your photos.
However, the prev / next room navigation would have to be under that new slider unless you choose to not have prev / next navigation for rooms.

Hi, Fantastic Theme you have here, really good.
Just one problem at the moment, I am unable to keep the Meta Boxes to stay in order, they keep moving all over the place, and when I go to order them in the page editor, they are in a different order again.
Wondering if there is a fix for this and it’s doing my head in!

Hm, that shouldn’t be happening. We’ll look into this asap. Did you update any plugins recently? Any recent changes? We’ll try to replicate on our side.
Ah yes I did update some plugins, there was a few so cannot remember which ones, this maybe affecting it? The pages seem to move around everytime you update something, and its a lot of effort to put them all back in order as you have to move every box. Seems to be shuffling them up. Cheers for the reply
Hi Shane, yes we have found an issues with the metabox plugin that was updated by Metabox.io a few days ago. We have contacted them to ask them to assist in resolving the issue. For now you can get around this by enabling ‘Enable Manual Meta Box Sort Order’ under the theme options / general tab.

Does this theme offer the ability to set prices per day or per season?
We have 50 holiday properties and during certain times, we have different daily prices.
For example the normal price might be $50/night. During August, we might increase this to $75/night. Or during a specific weekend, we might want to offer the property for $40/night.
Does the theme offer this?
If so, please send us a screenshot or a video demo demonstrating that this is possible. We do not want to purchase this theme without being CERTAIN that it offers this feature.
Hi and thanks for the question. If you have special pricing all you would need to do is separate those specific dates into a unique calendar and then it would work well. As an example if you wanted to increase the price just for the month of August, but still keep all other dates at the regular price, you could easily create a calendar that was only available for August and set that price accordingly. Does that make sense? Please let us know if you have any questions.
It makes sense to a point, but would appreciate if you could demonstrate via screenshots so we can see how easy/hard this is and how user friendly it is.

The code hides my first Accordion, i just need to close it.
The first part of the post was pertaining to your request, the last part is simple css that is more of a hack. You could create a fake accordion and make it the first position, then hide it using the css.

Yes that is something we will be asking the Plugin author but I believe this is done to prevent people from sharing bundle versions.
