Great theme. A few issues I’m having however. - Sidebar disappears on mobile view (I would like this to drop under the content) - Ad slots disappear on mobile view - No search option on mobile view (top nav area)

Hi there, is it possible to have pages with full width instead of pages only with side bars? Also, is there support to Vimeo on the social media links (like the ones on the footer)? Thanks.
Hey dimitribastos,
Thanks for your interest in Koala.
Koala includes a post option to enable full-width layout (no sidebar) on posts and custom pages. There is also support for Vimeo embedding and profile links via the footer/sidebar.
I’ve actually noticed, that on mobile device sidebar is not visible!. That’s not what I call responsive. You have just two version: desktop with sidebar and mobile without. Any workaround?
Hey FlavioAlfi,
Thanks for your purchase of Koala.
When viewing on a mobile device the viewport is restricted and the layout will respond (be responsive) to best fit the core contents into the available space (such as the post-list or post contents). Its normal for non-essential content, such as sidebars, to be removed/hidden in responsive layouts. Its worth noting that widgets in the footer are still visible on all device resolutions.

Hi, i was interested in your theme but i was wondering if it’s possible to share the quotes posts. I need principally that post type and i want them to be displayed as list (just like in the demo home in the “I don’t believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be.” post) but they have to show categories and social buttons. Is it possible in a simple way or is it too tricky?
Hey Factordev,
Thanks for your interest in Koala.
If you decide to purchase we can provide instructions (via our support site) on how to show the category on Quote formatted posts. Unfortunately Koala doesn’t provide social share functionality within the post list, only within the post pages or via sidebar widgets. This is however functionality you may be able to integrate via a third-party plugin.

Hey yudalaonline,
From the error message it appears you uploaded the full archive downloaded from ThemeForest. You must first extract this ZIP file (which contains the documentation, theme, child-theme etc). Within this archive you will find the installable theme ZIP file which you can upload to WordPress.
The included documentation provides a step by step installation guide. If the issue persists or you have any further questions, please open a new ticket on our support site.
Hello!
In recent update you claim to “Add Header Image Support for Tags” – the problem is: I still couldn’t set image for tags
In updated theme, at file tag.php, line 9, there was a code: $background_image = (function_exists(‘z_taxonomy_image_url’) && z_taxonomy_image_url() != ”” ? z_taxonomy_image_url() : koala_get_header_background());
Thing is – template couldn’t show an image, because of problem with retrieving tags id’s.
So I’ve change it to: $background_image = (function_exists(‘z_taxonomy_image_url’) && z_taxonomy_image_url(get_query_var(‘tag_id’)) != ”” ? z_taxonomy_image_url(get_query_var(‘tag_id’)) : koala_get_header_background());
... and now everything works fine.
I have no idea why I still had problems after update, but I hope that my comment will be usefull for author and other clients who bought the theme
( awesome, by the way and – despite minor problems – worth every penny!)
Hey asondej,
Thanks for the information. We are currently investigating this and will get this corrected in the next theme update. If you require any assistance with this please open a ticket on our support site and we will be happy to help.

Good day
Can I see the demo before purchasing the template?
You need to understand the suitability of the product for my project.
How do I get a discount?
Thanks
Hey Vetaall,
Thanks for your interest in Koala.
Our live demo/preview for Koala can be found here.
There are no discounts available. All market prices are maintained by Envato/ThemeForest.
I picked up the theme and there was a learning curve for about 1hr and after that I was ready to go
I still have to figure out how the galleries work but so far I can say:
- It’s Fast - Clean - Customizable - font looks great - Has nice feature
I’d recommend it to a friend!
I only wish it could create custom front pages for those who want a welcome page before their blog.
Good work Ecko Team!
Hey joshuanet,
Thanks for your purchase and comments.

Is possible disable the slider and quit the four articles below this?, I only wanna stay with the menu, articles normal, sidebar and footer. It’s possible with this theme?
Hey Peter94,
Thanks for your interest in Koala.
If the header slider or post grid have no posts assigned then they will not be shown. These sections can also be hidden via the theme customizer.
The regular license work on two blogs?
Each regular license is valid for a single-end product, therefore two regular licenses would be required, one for each blog. Additional licenses can be purchased after your first purchase of the theme.
The license additional have the same cost of the regular license?
You can simply repurchase the item for additional licenses, so the price will remain the same.
Looks pretty nice ! Good luck !
Awesome theme! Good luck with sales
Hi! Good job, I love your themes. I bought cedar and now I purchased Koala.
Please include in the next update of Koala, subtitles in articles. Please.. And Thank You!
Joan.
And another question.. I don’t see “typography” option in theme options for change the type of font in H1 or content for example with Google Fonts.
(The support page of eckothemes not show “Koala” theme yet, so I ask here.)
Thanks!
Hey romro91,
Thanks for your purchase and feature suggestion.
Ensure you have the theme recommend plugins installed and activated. If the issue persists, please create a new ticket on our support site (we just updated the categories to include Koala).
Perfect, I activated the plugins and the “typography” option now appears. And please, you will add subtitles feature?
Thank you again.
Glad you have the issue sorted. Post subtitles are on the list for the next theme update.
Great work & Good luck with sales
The design is simple yet useful for the business websites. Very good work. Well done.
Great modern design, nice theme!
Looks fantastic ; shared this with my list to send you a little more exposure, I hope it helps a bit.

Very great work, GLWS
Good looking work.
Does the header cover pic pull from the featured image or something else?
Hey JeffreySummers,
Thanks for your comments.
Yep, the header cover will use the active posts feature image. If a featured image is not set for a particular post then the blog default header image will be used.
Appreciate that.
