Nice clean style. Great work. Best of luck with sales!

Thanks. :)

Hi There,

theme looks great but I have a silly question before purchase:

In the first homepage example; is it possibble to change the big picture on the left with “sliding news with pictures” (which you have one below)

Thanks

Hi there,

Yes absolutely, take a look at Homepage example 3: http://socialize.wpengine.com/home-3/

thanks:) & couple more questions arised:

- what about the image sizes, do I need to resize all images for theme or can I use different sized images and theme arrange it to fit in ? - can I control and approve all the contents created by users before the content become public?

thanks in advance

Your images are automatically cropped to the preset image sizes in the theme – these are the dimensions you see in the demo. However you can change the image dimensions and the images will automatically be cropped.

The theme doesn’t have any options for users to create standard content. However if you give them access to the backend to create posts then you can use a plugin to control this e.g. https://wordpress.org/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/

If you’re referring to BuddyPress posts you can’t approve the content, it’s automatically added.

Good work, Good luck with sales :)

Thankyou. :)

Hey! Theme looks awesome.

Before I purchase, I was hoping you’d be able to answer a few quick questions…

1) On your homepage types, you have ‘recent posts’ published above other elements, such as latest from the forums etc, is it fair to assume that it’s easy to not have these posts there or have the ‘forums’ page as the main landing / homepage.

2) Also, could you please provide me with a screenshot of the forum post editor, or confirm that the editor is WYSIWYG with the ability to include images within forum posts and if there is an option to switch to a HTML only version or insert HTML.

Again, awesome theme man. Looking forward to your response.

Thanks

Hi there,

1) I’m not sure what you’re referring to unfortunately. What do you mean by “homepage types”. Are you just referring to the homepages? There is no “Recent Posts” section except in the footer and there is no “latest from the forum” section at all.

2) I’ve attached an image of the forum post editor here: http://tinypic.com/r/sw39lj/8

By default there bbPress disabled the WYSIWYG editor but this can be turned on easily. You can include images and videos in posts, but these need to be hosted already. However you cna use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/gd-bbpress-attachments/ to allow users to upload images to the site and display them in forum posts.

Demo Data ERROR!!!!! Warning: array_keys() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in C:\WampDeveloper\Websites\fmt22\webroot\wp-content\plugins\vc-widget-addon\vc-widget-addon.php on line 216

I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience with other themes. All I can say is, if there’s an issue with my themes I will fix them – but I can only do that if you work with me and help me understand the issue.

So as I say, this warning relates to a plugin, not the theme. I’ve raised this issue with the plugin developer before but they have done nothing about it. However I can assure you it has absolutely no affect on importing the demo content.

If your demo data appears messed up this is being caused by something else, but I’ll certainly be able to help you. Just so you know the ThemeForest comments area is a dedicated place for people who have not yet purchased the theme and want to ask pre-purchase questions. For theme support please sign up to our support site at https://ghostpool.ticksy.com. Once logged in, you can create a new support ticket at https://ghostpool.ticksy.com/submit When posting your ticket be specific, post a link to your site and/or take screenshots of the issue so I can see what is messed up, report any errors you receive, as much information as possible so I can help you.

Thanks.

It is a bug in your demo install…easy to blame VC. None of your filler/placement images get installed during demo import. I bought this theme to use not to debug!

The warning you posted is clearly coming from the Visual Composer Widget plugin – it says so in the error. I’m not blaming anyone – because as I’ve said several times this warning has nothing to do with your import issue. The reason I know this is 1) it’s a warning not an error 2) it has nothing to do with importing images, it relates to the widgets 3) the warning has always appeared and none of my other customers have ever reported it as causing an issue.

I’m not asking you to debug anything, I’m asking you to give me information about the issue you’re having so I can fix it for you. That’s generally how support works. You don’t call up a help line, shout at them and say “ERROR. FIX IT. NO WAIT REFUND!!!!” People are usually polite, explain the issue and the support fixes the issue.

All this time you’re wasting being rude, when you could just create a support ticket and I can fix the issue for you.

how can we login to see how it work, the registration is disable the social login is not properly configure

Hi there,

As with most themes sold here we unfortunately do not provide the ability to test the theme before you purchase it. The main reason for this is a demo would be editable by all users and as a result some users would completely ruin the theme and the potential buyer would then get a completely skewed view of how the theme works. When a reliable theme demo plugin is available, there are plans to allow theme testing.

If you have any specific questions or want to see a screenshot of something let me know. :)

most of the BuddyPress Theme here they provide a demo account for user to login and test it as a user, i see alot here, not talking about the admin , just a user demo account

You make a good point. However even a standard user login will still be able to post BuddyPress status updates that will affect the homepage display. Let me look into this and I’ll get back to you first thing tomorrow morning.

great stuff..good luck !

Thanks!

Clean & beautiful theme, Good luck with sales :)

Thankyou. :)

Hi and congratulations for this great job. I have a little question : is the header customizable ? (Full width logo before the nav menu for example…) Is the theme woocommerce compatible?

Thx

Hi there,

1) Yes the header is customizable. You can add a full width logo with the navigation below.

2) Yes it is compatible with WooCommerce.

Hi – great theme

Is it possible to make wider sidebars if needed – especially on left and right sidebar pages?

/Thanks

Hi there,

This can easily be done using CSS. There’s also plans to add options to do this in the next update shortly.

Great work, Good Luck With Sales. :-)

Thanks. :)

Hi, three further quick questions:

1. How are the existing ad spaces used? Are they built into the theme or can Ad Rotate (or some other plugin) be used? Can they be rotating ads?

2. Are the ad spaces at the top and bottom of the page just one wide element, or can we display a number of ads across the top?

3. Is there an option to have a sticky menu on mobile, as it is on desktop?

Thanks! :)

Hi there,

1) They are simply areas of the site that you can add your ad code (or any other content such as images) to via option boxes. You can use a plugin in it’s place – if it provides shortcodes you can simply add these in the aforementioned areas to display your ad rotations.

2) By default it just displays what you add . So if you add some columns using div tags or column shortcodes you can display a number of ads across the top. This is really simple stuff so I can show you how to do it if you decide to purchase the theme.

3) Do you mean sticky header? If so, the sticky header is disabled on mobile devices for two reasons, 1) it takes up valuable screen space 2) sticky headers don’t usually work well on mobile devices so it’s better not to include them. However if you want a sticky header I can show you a simple CSS change to do this.

What a nice change to get a clear and concise response from an author. I’ll be purchasing multiple copies of this theme for a few projects I am on with for clients. Thanks for your help.

Glad to hear it rdavenport. :)

Hi,

Firstly, I absolutely love this theme, it looks great, is well organised and is really light weight and fast. Really well done.

I have a quick query regarding viewing on mobile. I am not sure if it’s a bug or if it’s meant to be like that, but the top of the page on Public Groups and some others look a bit squashed to the right. This is viewed on my iPhone 5: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20173671/File%2010-10-2015%2C%2012%2003%2024.png

Could you check it out and let me know? Cheers.

Wow! That was fast. I also notice you have added the ad spaces as well. I was going to ask about them. Are they built into the theme or can Ad Rotate (or some other plugin) be used?

Also, I just noticed one other glitch, might as well let you know.

On the Events page, the “Events In” and “Search” bits are off to the left on desktop. I am using Windows 10 and only seeing this on Chrome, looks fine in Edge, Firefox and IE11.

Take a look here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/20173671/Screenshot%202015-10-10%2012.42.53.png

Cheers!

Hmmm, you may have literally just fixed that too… I refreshed and now it’s correct. :)

This was the same issue. A refresh probably just cleared your cache to load the change on this page as well. :)

Thank you. :)

Creative and Clean, GLWS :)

Thanks! :)

I like this theme but how do you monetize it with no space anywhere in the design? I dont want to have a social media network and cant sell any advertising! Are you going to do an update soon to add space within the current design so it wont look cluttered? Im interested if this can be addressed!

Hi there,

The theme provides advertisement areas at the top and bottom of the site. This isn’t shown in the demo at the moment, so I’ll look into adding it shortly. You can also add advertisements anywhere you can insert a widget or Visual Composer element – which is anywhere. :)

Is Linkedin login enabled/allowed?

Great, the only thing holding us back is the header needs to be a moving carousel to showcase multiple social events/highlights/features. Build the excitement, Sexify it up. That’s a California opinion ;)

The header is a slider that can automatically move if that is what you mean.

Yeah, no, this is what we mean http://themes.fuelthemes.net/?theme=thevoux (We’re building an elite Los Angeles social scene, and you’ll be invited to the beach party in Santa Monica ;) )

Probably a dumb question but I will ask it. If I buy this theme, one of the things I would like members do is be able to message each other (Private message) and even chat. Is there a way for members to message each other or live chat with this theme?

I couldn't find a messaging or chat feature in the demo so if it is there, could you tell me where.

Hi there,

Absolutely. The theme uses the BuddyPress plugin which provides a private messaging feature. You can try BuddyPress out for free on any WordPress theme. This theme has been carefully designed to make the most of all the BuddyPress features.

Sorry if this doesn’t make sense to me.You said it has a private messaging feature. So if that is the case and if this theme uses buddy press where in the demo is the private messaging feature?

The private messaging feature is only for logged in users so you can’t see it without an account. I’ve taken a couple of screenshots for you to see what it looks like. As I say if you install the BuddyPress plugin on the theme you’re currently using you can also test this out for yourself. :)
