I have a strange question. For some odd reason, when I look at the responsive menu, I am seeing the word HELLO at the bottom under all the options but I am not sure where this is coming from? Any ideas? if you need you can look at the site www.get-branded.ca ( I am still working on it but I cant figure out where this is coming from).

HI, I just updated with new version salient theme, and lost all the layouts and also when i try to install salient VC its says Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Vc_Manager in C:\xampp\htdocs\blackvfxWP\wp-content\plugins\js_composer_salient\js_composer.php on line 35
OK solved the issue. Its just confusing from email sent from envato, i followed and updates VC manually according the instructions and also updated your theme now ended up having to VC in the plugin list, thats conflicting each other so i just deactivated the VC from which is non salient VC and activated default salient VC. This is very important for people who are trying to update the salient after receiving the email from envato, Don’t follow the envato try to download the theme and update. it should be okay. And save your time.

I’m having a major issue with my portfolio thumbnails becoming incredibly blurry… I’ve tried various resizing methods and file types with no avail… it seems whatever size/file I make the thumbnail it’s forced into on blurry size.

maybe you should post some more information about the visual composer bugfix
on your site. People that receive the recent Envato mail and follow the instructions (download the visual composer via code canyon etc) might experience problems. At least i did.Everything works well with the last Salient update, though. BTW: Best theme, did i say that yet ?

Hey – the latest version of Salient includes the updated version of VC. Use that one instead of the raw VC as the Salient VC is the one supported fully with the theme
Love your theme! but there’s some errors and warning with your theme when i installed the WordPress theme check, even i tested other themes that i have, no error or failure to meet a WordPress standard.. its pretty bummer and make sense that by hearing some of people whom visited my website have been complained that its not accessible or menu function don’t goes well with mobile phones even some website that where i cant figure out.
So wonder if you can install this wordpress theme check plugins and let me know what u thinking from it? any Solution?

I think bugs is from old version from salient. i just updated the new version one. seems function great but it seems affecting the foo gallery plugins..
seems the sidebar causing the foo gallery’s bottom padding push to 10px

Hm, you could write to Envato in regards to see why you may have not gotten the email updates unfortunately I don’t have have control over that though
Hi! I’m trying to use a fixed menu in the mobile version and it works with a code you posted here in the comments, the problem is, that if there are to many menu items you can’t scroll down to check them all, because it is fixed. Any solution?
Hey – instead of using that old css fix, if you’re on a current version of the theme there’s actually been an option added for it in the header options tab in the Salient options panel

if you use the ascend skin it will show all the time, if you’re using the default it only appears if there’s an item added in the cart

Hi – I’ve tried to rename ” More Details ” from the shortcode processing file like indicated in a previous comment. But somehow it screw up the “sort portfolio” and then it doesn’t work anymore.
When I load again the original shortcode processing file in the template folder on my side, it fails to work again. Why is that? Do i need to restaure something somewhere else? or an other file link to it?
I really wanted to renamed just a few words but it seems that it fails somehow, what do i do wrong?

It seems you have the old stylesheet in your theme folder which has different class names for the filters – if you uploaded a shortcode-processing.php file from a current version of Salient then this would have caused it since you’d also need to update the other files to have it work
ok, I thought I had the uploaded the entire latest template but maybe not, I’ll re-download the latest Salient template from the Themeforest and re-upload all. I hope it won’t affect the content because there’s a lot of pics uploaded and portfolio page started.
