Some presales questions: Can you turn off reviews, submit listings and all the other interactive features? I just want a webmaster only directory. Also, it does not seem like the maps on the listings provide directions? (especially on smartphones)

Answer: Yes, you can turn of reviews on listings, you can disable sharing, claim listing, posting of new listings, and all other features in the theme.

Answer: They have addresses, and when you click on that address it will redirect to whatever map application you use i.e. Google Maps for the directions.

Hi, I’m trying to submit a new listing in the demo, I placed the pin on the Google Map and the address is added automatically on the business location field but it wasn’t the full address of the business. So, I tried to lock the pin on the map, manually changed the address and hit preview. In the preview the pin stayed at the same spot but the address was not shown at all. Is this a bug? Is a paid plugin required to achieve what I’m trying to do? I tried this on another different theme here in Themeforest, and it worked as I intended.

Thanks a lot Adam for getting back to me. Everything but the money issue is clear so I´ll try to be more specific about it one more time
. I am just confused how the money travels? If someone sells something through my listing site, how he or she gets his or hers money? When customer is making the purchase, does the money have to first come through our bank account or PayPal and we as the listing website owners organize the transfer to seller or is it possible to just make this transaction between the listing owner and the customer… leaving us as the listing website owners totally aside?

It depends on how you set it up, there are two ways to make the money “travel”
1. If you do not use PayPal Adaptive Payments, then you will get the money and then issue the money.
2. If you use PayPal Adaptive Payments the money will be automatically sent to the PayPal account of the person selling the service/product.
Please contact WooCommerce support for help with this as it’s their product that we are discussing.

Could you also please tell me is there a way to adjust “Listify” theme in a way so I could create events that has certain expiry date? I would like to have an option where people could upload their events but I definitely don´t wanna get that kind of final outcome where “active” and “expired” ads are all mixed together! That would lead to a great mess in a short time 
What I would like to do is to let people to set the ad expiry date so when the event is over you woun´t find this link via our “Listify” website. When someone is coming via Google gets the “Expired, Sorry” notice or 404 page that points you to shearch new listings.
Is it possible with Listify theme?

Hey, Martin. We decided to create our own events integration instead of using a third party plugin such as Events Calendar Pro, this will keep the cost down for people using Listify as it will be a free add-on.
Right now you cannot add events and add listings at the same time.

So just to be sure… when I set my Listify to show only events, does this Events Calendar Pro keeps the results clean and hides all the expired events when I search something? That´s my biggest fear to see a messy listing mixed together with upcoming events and already expired ones 
Also how does Event Calendar Pro changes the ad upload/creation process? Does it only ask you additionally “first” and “last” date of your event or is there something else that goes differently comparing to regular listing?

Hi Adam, While testing listify, I have successfully received an “email confirmation and order receipt” for submitting my paid-listing with message header: “Thank you for placing your order at listify”. I have tried searching your database and comments, but thats taking too much time. Would u mind, sending me the steps or the plugin to send similar receipt after “payment and submitting listing” to the user email id? thanks

Yes, you can Share and Leave a Review without premium plugins. If you want to bookmark listings you will need the Bookmarks plugin, if you want to feature a listing that is a feature that is part of the theme.

Answer: Its just one level of star ratings, and not the customizable star rating option that is shown in the demo, this feature is controlled by the Reviews plugin.

Answer: If you want to be able to move the pin to a custom location if Google Maps does not find the address correctly you will need the Extended Location plugin.

So the map and geolocation will not be available if you did not purchase the plugin and the user will just have to type in the address?
You see where I live I don’t think Google Maps will get an address like 20 Howard Street, I think it is only for Major Landmarks currently.

If you live in a country/location that is remote and does not have good GPS data then it might pick up the incorrect address, this is why we created the Extended Location plugin for this reason as Google is not always great a locating addresses.

Yep! We don’t add features to the theme as thats why plugins were created. The theme is the paint for your website and plugins are the foundation for your website. Plugins take time to create and support and update and continue to add new features on a monthly basis this is why we charge for plugins.

Tags are the same thing as amenities, if you do not have the WP Job Manager – Tags plugin installed then it will not show on the search page or the single listing page.

Yes. You will see the option for featured listings in the listing page by default.
“You can also manually feature a listing at any time in the future once it has been listed. Visit the editing listing screen which is located inside of Listings > All Listings > pick a listing from the list and click the Edit button and click the Select the “Feature this listing?” tick-box inside of the Listing Data window.”

Another question: So it seems like I can remove, or relocate on the page, all the page elements to further customize my listing template? On the demo, if one searches in location box for California, it beautifully shows the state of California and all ten listings in California on the demo. For me though, I have dozens of listings in various states, and it will only show 5 listings or so, zoomed in a particular area.
The cities and zip codes work fine, it’s just on a statewide level the theme does not work at all.
Am I missing something here? What are Map settings you have on demo? All of my data is perfect for Google Maps to decipher it.
To elaborate, I get like 5 results when I use the location field to search in California. Then as I keep expanding the radius, more and more results appear. Most users don’t understand to do that, and then other states overlap into that state, the bigger the radius.
I’m not sure what the problem is….

No matter what I try your support system says my password is wrong despite resetting it a few times and trying again
So I will ask my question here. I have the custom Permalink/URL Structure Adding the category and region to the base URL working great, but I have one problem, yoast seo breadcrumbs that are very important for seo! seems to ignore the changes it shows the listings base slug that’s not in my url any more and it ignores my area. the bread crumbs just show sitename.com/listing/category/listingname when it need to be, sitename.com/subburb/category/listingname Need help ASAP cheers.

To add a product to one listing and not all listings ensure you first enable the feature called “Products limitation” inside of “Listings > Products > Products limitation” this will limit access to products to the user that created the product and then they can link the product on the submit a listing screen.
