Hey, Really like the theme but I have a couple of pre-sales questions:
Id want to change all the colours, for example the bar etc, is that provided in the theme or is it a case of custom css code in a child theme?
Also, are footer widgets included in the theme?

Unfortunately, the theme doesn’t have this layout by default. If you want to implement it, the work requires customization.
This category displays video portfolio items. If you click any one it will redirect you to the portfolio video post.

Looks like we misunderstood each other. I thought you want to use a video as a project cover. Now I see that you want to build video posts. The portfolio section allows to create required posts.

Okay. Purchased and downloaded. A question:
HOMEPAGE – I would like to customise the homepage slider but it is not clear how to do this. I’m using the latest posts format for the homepage. From the demo content, it seems that the slider images from the most recent post are used by default by the home page; however, when I create a new post with similar settings, the homepage does not use the slider images of my new post, or of any other post for that matter. Where are the slider images for homepage set?

My issue is as follows, it may be a simple fix:
Im having an issue with the social icons not displaying correctly on what I think is just Safari, on iPads and macbooks. Ony my iMac here everything is fine.
In theme.css I remapped the standard icons to my own, for example
.socials_list li a.ico_social_facebook { background-image: url(../img/fa.png);}
This works on most systems. Im lost as to why it doesnt work on the others- instead I get a jumbled image of a lot of different icons from what appears to be something like the soho_sprite image?
How would I go about fixing this?

With regard to the one line of code.. most of the time with regard to switching out social icons it is simply that! Ive done it before on other themes.. find the images the code is pointing to, switch them out for my own in the folder and replace the file name in code.
Im not sure how it doesn’t work on some devices though, so I know I’m missing something.
We do not do not use the images like you might seen in other themes, we have icon font integration.

What I mean is that it requires additional coding because the theme does not have the functionality that you are looking for.
What would your suggestion be on this so going forward? Personally, I’m not keen on the font icons in use, and much prefer a more custom option!

Fair enough.. it would be my opinion that customer service was far better when I got this theme first, which included a handful of customisation issues I was having. Just a thought..

Hi! First of all: I love this theme – it’s awesome!! My problem: My WordPress tells me that I should update the theme – when I click the link, I get to the ThemeForest page with my purchases. I downloaded the Soho Theme from this page – but it’s not the update but the soho theme itself. So how do I get to update my theme? Do I always have to completely uninstall the them and install the new version? I tried to upload the theme – but of course it’s giving me errors, since the theme folder already exists. Help!!
