If I want to use the Event Calendar Pro plugin, I have to pay additional for Pro or is that included in the theme complimentary? Wasn’t sure if you all are marketing compatibility or that it comes with it.

My client is wanting to use the Avada Architecture Theme. He wants to be able to have the picture carousel have a primary picture on the “Our Work” main page, then have additional pictures related to each project when you go to the carousel. The way the sample is set up, it looks like all the pictures from the from the “Our Work” main page are shown in the picture carousel. Is there a way to change this setup? The carousel/our work section can pull specific categories of posts from it, so if you only want to show “category A” in that section then you can select that. So you can include or exclude categories: http://d.pr/i/1cZiC
And we have a nice little option called “light box behavior” that allows you to choose if the light box shows all featured images on the page, or only ones from that particular post: http://d.pr/i/xD1y
So yes I believe based off what you said it is possible
Quick question: I’m using Lifestyle demo but I want to change the width of the resolution so it doesn’t go on one page with a lower resolution screen. Is this possible?

Hmm what exactly do you mean when you say “so it doesn’t go on one page with a lower res screen” ?
Do you mean you do not want it to be responsive and want it to keep the same column view on mobile as you see on desktop? If so you can do that but need to turn off the responsive design option in theme options > general tab.
You can also adjust when it turns to responsive mode in theme options > header for the “mobile header responsive layout” option.

Hi, I opened two tickets on Envato and Avada to ask the same question. The Question was, “can I use envato regular license for create wordpress multisite setup. Sites will be like, site1.mydomain.com, site2.mydomain.com. Contents will be different but about the works of a same organization.”
So one of Envato help center person said, “yes you can”. And Avada said “you can’t, you have to buy different licenses”. So I asked them about the conflict of their answers. Avada requested my ticket id of Envato. So I gave it. But they didn’t replied me with a answer yet. So I started another ticket on Envato asking the same question. The same person replied me with the same answer. So I decided to proceed with Envato Answer. That means I’m going to setup wordpress multisite with Avada. And I’m going to create few site on sub domains for a same compaly. But contents of those sites will be different. Please if you disagree with me, please reply to me with a solid answer ASAP.

Hi, thank you for a great theme!! I’m finding everything so easy to use!!
I have one question: is there a way to get sidebars (left sidebars, in my case) to load first (i.e. before page content) on mobile view? I’m using the sidebar as a menu to jump to certain sections of the page (using anchor tags) so it makes little sense for that to load AFTER the page content in my case.

Hmm that will not be possible out of the box, it would require code adjustments. However we do not advise that because sidebars are suppose to be structured after the content on mobile whether it is left OR right side due to SEO reason. That is very important.

Variable products is a part of the Woocommerce plugin and can easily be set up, Avada is 100% compatible with Woocommerce hence you will not have any issues with deploying variable products

I’ve installed the Architecture demo and it works really well. I’ve replaced the fusion slider on the homepage with my own revolution slider which displays fine.
However I have lost the parallax effect when scrolling down the homepage. Does the parallax effect only work for the fusion slider?

That special parallax effect is part of FusionSlider only. But Revslider has its own options and effects, and I’m sure you can find a fitting replacement.

oh, well we’ve turned the parallax feature on for the slider settings but no change so we’re not sure if this is our incompetence (surely not) or a plugin issue with Revolution slider and Avada. So it would be most helpful if you could detail the settings for the parallax feature for us so that we can test please.
Maybe you could implement this in your support videos or in your setup documentation as it’s part of your package…...

How can I get Text on the side menu to not have such a huge line space when the menu text has to move to the next line. Just doesn’t look right. Please check out my 3D Animation Services menu button. 3D Animation & Services below because it could not fit on the same line, but there is such a huge gap between them they don’t look like they belong together. You have different possibilities here. You can either make the site header itself a bit larger, in Theme Options > Header: http://d.pr/i/1gqTx. Or you go to Theme Options > Header > Header Background and reduce the left/right padding some: http://d.pr/i/11frS
Alternatively you could also target the menu entries alone with custom CSS and change the padding or the men line height.

Okay, the reduce padding worked great, thank you! One thing though, doesn’t seem I can get any of the boarder frames, like drop shadow, or glow to work on image frame.

We’re using the Grid layout for the blog. Our users are posting on our blog as authors. Is it possible to display the user avatar along with the author name on the main blog page? We would obviously prefer to display that avatar smaller than the featured image. Then of course we would prefer to display the author info below the excerpt as a dream scenario… not unlike a Pinterest post where the author info is at the bottom of the post.

To start the content would be English and French and later I would add spanish and Italian. My question about Avada translation ready theme is, do I need to purchase a translation plugin like WPML for that ? Or does the theme already include some european languages, so no need to buy WPML ? The theme is ready to be translated into any language, and we include about 30 language files either fully or partially translated from our wonderful community members.
To show multiple languages on a site and for easy switching, you will need a language plugin to display and control them. We fully recommend WPML for this, it is the best one in our opinion and is very easy to use and they offer fantastic support. We work closely with their team. In addition, there is Polyang plugin which is free and is also compatible with Avada.

Hi. Im trying to add a youtube video to my fusion slider by putting in the id, however for some reason the video isn’t showing up…instead i see “An error occurred”...am i doing something wrong?

Hmm that error usually means there is a problem with that particular video, is it from Youtube? Try a different one to be sure, also make sure you are only entering the ID as the description says.

I’m using the Lifestyle demo, and for some reason I cannot change the color of the social icons displayed under the main menu.
I amended the setting under Shortcodes -> Social Links Shortcodes but nothing has changed.
I have searched through everything I can think of, and can’t figure out what I’m missing.

This particular setup uses a shortcode in a text widget, navigate to appearance > widgets and look for this: http://d.pr/i/1az3n You can enter a hex value in the color fields. We’re also working on adding this to a user interface soon.

I understand how to edit the widget in the screenshot you sent me, and I have already done so. However this widget is for the social icons in the footer not under the menu.
There is no widget area showing for the menu.

I guess there was a misunderstanding. The social icons directly under the menu are the header social icons. You can change their appearance in Theme Options > Header under the Social Icons tab: http://d.pr/i/G5YS
