I have a couple of pre sale questions. I am interested in the functionality of the sidebar widgets on a single post page that display additional video content.
1. Can the sidebar widget be set to display only videos in a single category? i.e – If I’m looking at a video in the “tutorial” category, can I set the sidebar to only display other “tutorial” videos?
2. I assume that many of the items on a single page post can be set to NOT display (for instance, the author info.) Please list the items that CAN’T be turned off.
3. On the home page, all of the headlines in the demo are only one line long. Is it possible to have longer headlines that break to a second line?

1> Unfortunately, in TrueMag theme, we do not have any widgets set to only display videos in the single category. But, we have TM- Popular Video widget showing all popular posts followed by Condition: Most View/ Most Comments/High Rate/ Most Liked/ Latest and filter categories. You can try using it

1. Have you installed Visual Composer plugin and Shortcode plugin yet? Our theme needs those two plugins to display correctly. In addition, you can find our theme’s shortcodes in this document:

2. If you are using some plugins having a quick shortcode, those plugins might not be supported with TrueMag theme. In this case, you need to contact those plugins’ authors to get more details.
3. If this does not work, please send us (private) message with an admin account so we can look into that.

Please go to Appearance > Widgets > Drag & Drop the Recent Post widget from the left side to Home Sidebar position at the right side. If your side has a lot of homepages, you can use Custom Sidebar plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/ to add sidebar to your homepage you want.

Hi, please help me. I am using your video ads plugin for this theme and I am using the flowplayer option. The video ads do not show at all. Please help me to make them show. I created the ad and then added the id of the ad to the bulk option and I checked some posts and the id is shown in the video ads section in edit post backend but the ads just do not appear. Thanks

This is really a very excellent theme overall and you guys offer great customer support.
With that said, I would like to make a suggestion for a future update (preferably soon) and that is to make pre-roll video ads play on mobile phones and tablets.
This might not be very important for everyone, but for a responsive theme, this shouldn’t be left out and I am disappointed that it was not clearly indicated anywhere pre-purchase.

Due to some technical difficulties on iOS devices, playing videos ads on mobile is impossible. Currently Image Ads still works on mobile.
Making video ads work only on android devices is not fair…What do you think?

Thank you for the response. That is really unfortunate about iOS. Is this true for mobile phones only or tablets (iPads) as well? There must be some sort of workaround no? There is a plugin here on CodeCanyon that does it.
In terms of Android only. I would say that if it can be done it should. Ads are revenue generators, and all revenue opportunities should be taken advantage of. Android devices can add thousands if not millions of more views for ads.The more views you can get an ad the better…I don’t think it’s about fairness as I’m sure no one would ever want to see ads in principle. I’d like to see it implemented on every platform possible.

In fact, our Video Ads is not a player. It works on top of other video players, thus the ability to control video is limited.
If you look for such solution, considering using one of our supported player plugins, including JWPlayer, VideoJS, Contus, Kaltura, Wistia, FlowPlayer.

Hi, I was looking for a template for my self-hosted video site and I found this Truemag suitable enough which apparently supports self-hosted video well. The only issue remains is I want to have a website to upload my own videos. I want visitors to be able to watch the clips in the website page but not able to download them with Internet Download Manager. Is it possible to do something like that in truemag? I mean not letting Internet Download Manager to find and download our video.

Data is not affected. Do not worry.
Even if you use Envato WordPress Toolkit plugin for automatic update, you can update theme only. Related plugins still need to be updated via uploading

It’s because Envato has its own official plugin to do that. If we integrate into our theme, it will need resources to maintain the feature. In addition, you will get feature updates sooner from Envato if you use the plugin
