Hi, Not without custom coding – There is no option in theme admin to pick what fields would appear on the search form. However you can edit the form and add the category dropwdown. Of course a change will be required on the search results script also.

2) If not, is it possible to customize the “Advanced Search” widget by removing the check in/out and guest drops downs…replacing them with property listing categories and sub category dropdowns for filtering

Is the same answer as on no1. You would have to do the change at code level since there is no such option in theme admin.

3) can this all be done without affecting the existing booking widget on the individual property pages?

Yes – the booking widget is separated from advanced search form .

4) is it possible to have owner info (reviews, name) appear in the all property listings in the grid?

Hi , yes this is also possible but als0 with code changing. There is already a second property unit type that has owner picture, so you can extend that functionality (you can change from type1 to type2 in theme admin.) . For reviews will be a little more complicated but it can be done.

5) is it possible to add links to owner profile and additional contact info (phone number, email, etc) to the “contact the owner” pop up modal

I;m not sure i understand “add links” . If you want to add some standard fields like “your website” you will need to do that by custom coding. Otherwise you can add links in the content form (description) On ” additional contact info ” – Yes, you can do that also but again only via code change.

From what i see all the changes you want can be done but only via custom coding.

Hi, The website owner can earn money in these situations: 1. Get a commission on each confirmed booking ( % can be set in theme admin)

2. Get a fee from the users that list a property. You need to set the theme in “per listing” mode and set the submission price

or

3.Get a fee from users that buy a subscription (a package that let them publish x listings – packages are editable from admin).

The links are not the same – one is for your bookings and one is for reservations. You can rent your place and you can book other user listings (this is how the airbnb and the rest of the biggest sites do it).

However i will add your request to the wish list and will consider it adding as a feature in a next update.

Can’t get to find where to put the photo header or full width the map on the foot like the link example above. If you are referring to the property page you can set this type of design by going into appearance and set “Property Page Design Type” to type 2.

If you want to change the header on the rest of the property you have the options to do this globally in Appearance – Header Type or for each page (except listing page ) in wpadmin , when you edit the page in the “Header Options” section.

You can do that only by code change. You would have to edit the search form and add / delete items and then adjust the search functions to consider the new items.

Also when issue you invoice you can add extra items like airport transfer or you can issue discounts.

Hi, You can custom fields but those can be used/appeared only on property page.The custom fields in Wp Rentals are not searchable yet. You would not be able to use it on Advanced search forms since there is no “custom fields” option for search. Thanks

In the screencapture you send i see you are reffering to the image in the header. To put text over the image, (and even animated it) you can create a revolution slider and use it for that page or as a global option.

3. when I am connected to my account (user, not admin) I do not see the many options available (bookings, resevations, ...) like I See in the demo. I just see “Log out”

The system is to be used for short term rentals : so it doesn’t have the option to rent by the month. However you have the option to set a discount price for the one that that rent the place for 30 days or longer. It can be set in the same place where you put the price per day.

For the google maps – not loading. I’m not sure i understand the issue.

Hi Daniel, Is that possible for users to edit there advertise from backend after being sent? If you mean : Users can edit their listings after it was sent – yes they can do that. Depending on theme settings you chose they may need to wait for admin to check their update .

Is there any notification system to users when a new place is posted (favorites as WpResidence)? Unfortunately this feature is not preset in WpRentals(at least in this version).

Hi, I strongly recommend to do customization using Chlid Themes. In this way you would be able to update without problems. If you change the original files it would be hard to manage any updates.

To answer your questions: i think it would be possible to give you that list of files however please note that the list would be long and updates would require manual work . So please go with the child theme option. THanks
