Hey there, After upload the website from local to remote I experience a strange issue. The pages are correctly viewed with all the contents in it’s right place in frontend view, but when I go in the backend the visual composer is empty, no contents inside, no rows, columns or text. Any idea?
It happens only when I go in portfolio item backend. No problem for pages or posts..

Hi Theme Nectar, I created a mega menu the same as the Ascend Demo but changed the colors. If you go over Portfolio you will see a mega menu with 3 columns. Each column has a Subtitle and Items underneath. In the demo the dropdown background is Black and it’s fine as the dropdown font and font hover are white. My problem is my dropdown background is white, my dropdown background hover is red and the the dropdown font is blue and dropdown font hover is white. The subitems are fine but the main problem is the subtilte as they disapear. Is it possible to remove the hover function for the subtitles or fix other dropdown font only for subtitle only?

It is 1,000 times easier for me to mock up the look and feel of the design from a psd file instead of taking hours to do it on a live wordpress template.

There should only be one instance of the font being loaded, yet I keep consistently seeing fonts loaded over and over again and it’s slowing down the site with multiple http requests and further uncacheable resources that are hurting the Page Speed Scores.
Any idea why this should be left this way?

I have a problem displaying foreign characters on my site.
I am using ‘Open Sans’ from Google Fonts through the Typography tab in Salient settings. When browsing my site using Chrome (Win) my characters look like this:

I am 100% sure these characters are available in Open Sans, so why don’t they show correctly?
Hey, have you tried to not load it through google since that’s already the default font and check the box for “Load ext. latin chars in default font”?
Yes. I’ve tried to disable webfonts if that’s what you mean? And “Load ext…” is also turned on.

links and buttons do not work when i am trying to add new slide in nectar slider. it worked 3-4 months ago.
If qTranslate plugin is activated on my site then not working nectar slider in edit mode. If I deactivate the qTranslate plugin all work fine…

Adding this code (i use a Child version of the theme) doesn’t work:.nectar-slider-wrap:not([data-transition="fade"]) .swiper-wrapper {

I added it to Custom CSS code in Salient options, and to the style.css file of the child theme.
Btw. i have several menu elements, so when i reduce the width of the page, these become overlapped with the logo. How can i fix that?

It’s due out in a few weeks and what issues are you referring to?
It seems one of the plugins you have active is causing it, most likely the one adding the icons to the secondary menu
