To remove outdated files notification on Aurum follow these steps:

1. Download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/1ciu8+

2. Replace it in this directory:

wp-content/themes/aurum/woocommerce/single-product/

We will update Aurum soon, and those warning will disappear

Actually “Catalog Mode” in Theme Options > Shop Settings as shown here:

Note that Catalog mode on Aurum will remove the capability of adding to cart only. For other functionality you must install custom plugin because its not supported.

When you install the Aurum Demo, the slider will be imported too, but i think that you have started using Aurum from the scratch.

Can you please send us your WP credentials on email? We will add the slider for you, just tell us which slider do you want, the one from the Minimal Demo, or the Original one.

Thats what i did, then the update failed. now it is saying the theme is broken. So what do i do now

this is the message i get when trying to update the theme

This is a very rare situation. Most likely your web server is configured with PHP settings that are too low to allow the theme ZIP file to upload. Specifically, PHP is configured to a maximum file upload size limit at 8 megabytes or less. The theme ZIP is about 9.5 megabytes in size. Thus, the web server is rejecting the upload. WordPress is giving you a rather ambiguous message in response. This is not a theme fault or bug.

There two ways to solve this problem.

1— You can either get your web host to increase your PHP limits.

2—You can upload your theme via an FTP client.

Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

max_execution_time 180
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32M

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

P.S: When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.

To update Aurum manually just go to your Downloads tab on themeforest > go to our item and click Download > then go to your downloads folder and unzip our theme > open folder that you unzipped > unzip aurum.zip > open aurum folder that you unzipped and copy all of it’s content > then go to your wordpress files > wp-conent >themes > paste and replace all the files that you copy-ed earlier.

P.S: Don’t forget to copy and paste somewhere aurum folder on Wordpress before making those changes as a backup

2. Unfortunately that’s not possible.

3. Go to Apperance > Menus and select the menu item to edit it, when editing it at the name field, put that code after the name and it will appear as an icon.

We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too.

If you are using our latest theme update, then please go to Appearance > Install Plugins, and update premium plugins to the latest version.

Also can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Please refresh your site a couple of times, because of the browser cache.

To change the button color add this Custom CSS:

}

Replace with your own colors, first one is text color, second one is button background.

Hi, thanks for the code for changing the button color. As for the VC grid. I’m not talking about setting the page up like the demo. I’m talking about the image height on the frontpage. Could you please check the website homepage at http://avaspromise.com, I cropped the image height before adding it to the page but the height remains the same on the frontpage. It looks like this is related to Apache server, so I suggest you to increase Timeout value in httpd.conf or ask your host to do that, make the Timeout = 600, when you finish installing demo content you can revert back that value.
