In the sidebar widgets, how would I display a specific category and its sub cats?
Right now I’m only able to display all product categories but I’d prefer to visually separate some.

Currently that widget does not offer that functionality and it is directly from WooCommerce. You could check to see if there is a 3rd party plugin that offers this, I believe there may be.

Is it possible to add a category for some portfolio items (eg. “featured”) to use in a carousel slider, but not have the category displayed/as a filterable link in the portfolio view like the 4-column text layout?

I’ve noticed that if you have a full width container at the top of the page and then have that split up with a 2/3 & 1/3 with the 2/3 section having the fusion slider and the 1/3 side having a YouTube video and your settings set to responsive… when going to a mobile phone and looking at the site the site won’t scroll past the YouTube video making all content below the video un reachable. Is this a bug or something that can be worked around?

I’ve been playing around a bit with this and I’m thinking this has more to do with the sticky header… on iPhone 6 Plus in vertical position the sticky header doesn’t always show up on certain pages… and I think it’s interfering with youtube videos as well… page scrolling seems to be hanging up also. In horizontal mode the site performs as expected.
Also, the “Enable ToTop Script on mobile” doesn’t seem to be working either… enabling it doesn’t add the ToTop on mobiles.
There seems to a be a lot of issues with this update. I’m in my shopping cart now and it’s a mess… icons floating all over the place, boxes not resizing plus the issues above… I’m hoping that I can downgrade as I’ve no issues with the previous version. 
Downgrade back to Version: 3.8.6.1 was successful and everything is now back to normal. Hope the issues get worked out!

Going by what you are describing here, you experienced multiple issues post update, but it also indicates that the update may not have been performed correctly and/or something was compromised during the update process. The issues you have described here are not issues being reported by other people who have updated to the latest version of the theme.
What we are going to suggest here is create a support ticket using the link below, and included in your support ticket each of the issues you have mentioned and provide your WP Admin and FTP credentials. From that point our support will first check over the installation, advise to update again and then provide guidance to get the site updates to the latest version without issues

Thank you, I will submit a support ticket with the issues above. I updated the theme two ways… One the theme auto update and I tried FTP both methods resulted in the same issues. I also removed all custom CSS and turned off all plugins and it still resulted in the same issues. Cleared cache and so on and still issues.

Hello, Presale question: Your theme looks really good and demo Avada Agency is almost exactly what I want. Is it possible to create site like Avada Agency but completly in one page scrolling version. Left menu will be used to jump between sections of the frontpage. When visitor will be scrolling down frontpage, left menu will be marked with colour depending on which sector of frontpage is currently active?

Yes, you can certainly do that. Whether the header us left/top/right for the one page set up dies not matter at all. It will perfectly as a one page site

Hi Avada Team, Just 4 questions about your next improvements of this amazing Theme: 1/ Could you improve speed for the Fusion Slider? this slider looks now slower than before. Strangely, the text appears before the first image. It would be better to have the image appearing before the text, its sounds more logical for the viewer. 2/ Any idea of the next release. 3.8.9 or 3.9 ? a minor or major upgrade ? 3/ Will we have new demos ? what kind of domain it will concern ? (some spoil plz ;)) 4/ Any new “partnership with developer plugins ? Buddypress, an appointment/booking plugin , a LMS (Sensei, LearnDash, Courseware….) ? Thanks in advance S.

To answer your questions:
1 – We are not seeing any downgrade in the speed of the Fusion Slider as of 3.8.8. Saying that, it is on our development teams radar to enhance the Fusion Slider at some point. Keep in mind the kb size of the image can influence the load time as well
2 – Our next release is 3.9 which is major update, there is no exact ETA but it will be within the next several weeks
3 – Yes, we will be releasing a few new demos but can’t unveil too much info just yet, sorry
4 – Sensei, LearnDash do work with Avada. No new plugin integrations just yet, but stay tuned
5 – Right now there is not an option to enable that, a customization would be required

You can simply add the Avada button shortcode to the Layer Slider. Simply edit the slide layer and add the shortcode to the Content >> HTML option

Hello “Avada theme” I’m a DJ at http://muzoworld.com/ And I’m considering buying your WP theme. I just have some questions for the theme. When I buy the “X” theme. Will it be possible to incorporate pages and dropdown menu? And will it be possible to incorporate the “yoast plugin” As I have it at the moment. My friend who is educated in multimedia design and have a lot of experience in WordPress and graphics in Photoshop will do the full installation. He is also able to code a bit in the front or backend.

1. Yes, you can incorporate pages and use dropdown as seen on our live demo at http://theme-fusion.com/avada/
2. Yoast SEO should work fully with Avada.
3. Yes, we have support for the social media icons that you have mentioned and more.

Is it possible to add a navigation in a blogcategory (http://www.ikbenopreis.nl/category/bestemmingen/europa/spanje/) like it is possible for a portfolio section (http://theme-fusion.com/avada/2-column-grid/). With navigation I mean the ‘All, Logo, Photography, Videos, Web Design’ buttons on http://theme-fusion.com/avada/2-column-grid/.

Hi.
I am trying to have a small sticky floating content image on the right margin but cannot seem to figure it out.

All I want is ONE image to show up against the right margin of the screen and for it to stay there even if the content is scrolled. I am using the full width template with the one-page parallax.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
