I see that you have updated the theme and now want to have translations updated as well. Here is what you need to do. I suppose you have Loco Translate plugin installed already.

So the backup files you have previously saved from:

wp-content/themes/kalium/languages/

Lets say you have es_ES.po and es_ES.mo files, just move those files to that directory. Then go to Loco Translate click Kalium theme PO edit language link and then in hit the Sync button as shown here:

This should work for you.

If that is not working for you, then I could take a look at it. I will need your WordPress + FTP details to login and test language files. Also attach your translated file es_SV.mo and es_SV.po in your email and send them to info at laborator dot co

You can change the text color and titles using the Laborator > Theme Options > Theme Styling to change the colors and settings.

Can you please tell us what problem do you have with our theme? As you see we are continuously updating Kalium with new features, updates, compatibility issues with other plugins and other things even that it has been time that we created this theme.

When any client rates us with low stars we think that it will not contribute so much on our product improvement.

We kindly ask you if you can increase your rating on our theme.

If not, at least tell us what we need to improve to make our product more sophisticated to meet your needs.

I saw this was a bug in our theme so I have managed to fix it. For you here is the quick fix:

1. Download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/NuMf+

2. Replace it in this directory: _{/wp-content/themes/kalium/inc/lib/vc/lab_google_map/}

3. Download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/10Vdo+

4. Replace the downloaded file in this directory: _{/wp-content/themes/kalium/vc_templates/}

This fix will be added also in the next update, so I gave to you if you need it immediately.

When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.

To setup shop pages you firstly need WooCommerce plugin installed.

Then shop pages should be installed in your Pages section like: Shop, My Account, Cart and so on. (If you don’t have these pages installed read here)

To set the sidebar on the left side, go to Theme Options > Shop Settings on Shop Loop / Listing Settings set sidebar position to the left:

After following these steps you should be able to see the shop page with left sidebar.

Please try to be more specific when referring to the theme elements, I don’t know which element you’re referring as header and which as description.

Here is the code you’ll need to add in order for the title and description of the footer to be black:

1. This is great suggestion, so I have added it to our theme and will be available with the new update (v1.8), here is how it looks:

So next time you don’t need to do a hardcode for it.

2. Yes you are right, but actually the title of slider is not supported. What you could do is to add some custom css to make those arrows color to look more visible (add the css in current Page Options > Custom CSS):

.slick-slider .slick-next, .slick-slider .slick-prev {
color: #000;
}

We are going to add a “HTML Block” option in the select list of gallery items you can set, so with that option append or prepend the title of slider.

3. HTML block that I suggested in the #2 may help you with this.

4. Image captions are in our todo list, so we are going to implement them to show right after or before the image.

5. (You’ve written as #4) its quite hard for us to detect an issue without knowing the replication steps, if you can tell us with a video when this happens, we may find a solution for you.

Hopefully this will help you. For your infromation the new update of our theme will be available next week.

Hi LCAArchitects,

Most likely your web server is configured with PHP settings that are too low to allow the theme ZIP file to upload. Specifically, PHP is configured to a maximum file upload size limit at 8 megabytes or less. The theme ZIP is about 9.5 megabytes in size. Thus, the web server is rejecting the upload. WordPress is giving you a rather ambiguous message in response. This is not a theme fault or bug.

There two ways to solve this problem.

1— You can either get your web host to increase your PHP limits.

2—You can upload your theme via an FTP client.

Recommended PHP configuration limits are as follows:

max_execution_time 180
memory_limit 128M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32M

The second file I’ve sent you is used to create the ability for you to translate Portfolio listing title.

So here is the original quoted text you need to follow:

Portfolio header title can be translated with String Translation plugin so firstly download this file:

http://drops.laborator.co/17iJi+
And replace it in this directory of your host:

/wp-content/themes/kalium/tpls/

Then access your portfolio page online, the strings will be registered as translatable strings and go to WPML > String Translation search for “Portfolio” header title within “kalium” text domain context and you will be able to translate it.

Yes thats what I’ve meant. Have you tried those steps?

Another way to create a translatable title tag of Portfolio page is here:

1. Create new Page, and assign “Portfolio Page” template.

2. Then the post title and description will be added as title tag of portfolio.

As you know, WPML allows translation of pages so you can easily do this in your case.
