Great job , I’m thinking to use it in my next project. Just curious, where I can find these badges gift, to do something similar but in another language and keep the theme style. Thanks in advance.
Hey Asere,
Thanks for your interest. Hope to join us soon.
These gif files are handcrafted items by our nerd graphic designer for the demo purposes. They are awesome, aren’t they?

P.S. Contact us via email if you need more details about these.
I love Osmosis and it’s been worth the wait for this beautiful piece of artwork! Thanks, you rock!
Hey there,
Thank you very much … for buying Blade
We also love Osmosis but… the Blade is something else. You will see what I mean when you investigate its backend.
Look forward to supporting you all the way through!
Best Regards.
Hi, just purchased your theme and i think its great. Although i have one issue, i can see that i can use a hosted video as a background in a row, but i would like to use a hosted video in a column and not have to link to youtube or vimeo, can you advise how to achieve this? I want to launch the site in China but youtube and vimeo are both blocked. Hosted is my only option.
Hello dancarney,
Firstly, thanks for using Blade. We are glad you like it
You can easily add an HTML video as a row background in Row Settings > Section Options > Background Type. Check this screenshot.
Hope this is helpful.
Best Regards.
P.S. We would greatly appreciate if you use our Support Forum for any kind of support you need instead of the public comments. We’d be glad to help you.
Hey guys awesome theme! looking to get on board this week just have a question regarding the portfolio settings? My client would like to have separate portfolio sections.”not woocommerce” i.e. he sells furniture so grid protfolio option.. All/indoor chairs/outdoor chairs/ then another grid gallery with : All/Tables/indoor tables/outdoor tables/ on separate pages? he has a pretty extensive product range so would be a great way to display all the products. Cheers hope to hear from you guys soon.
Hello sipdesign!
Thank you very much for your interest and for your kind words.
You can surely have multiple portfolios with filters in different pages. You can make use of the gallery usage option as well.
We look forward having you on board!
Best Regards

Hi caiiika,
Thanks for your comment! We are glad you like Blade. Hope to join us soon
Best Regards.
am i right, that top bar possiblities are shown only in “Blade Blunt” demo? didn’t find any docs in Knowledge Base about customizing top bar section. is there some wigdet sections like left and right top bar widget or top bar is customizable only via theme options? could you show some screenshots of the “top bar” section in theme options or give a link where can I read about it? thnx
Hey there,
You are right about the TopBar in “Blade Blunt” demo and for the Knowledge Base. We are going to add something related soon in our live tutorial. Let’s see briefly what you can add in the two positions (left and right) of the TopBar.
1. Firstly, you are able to set the height of it, define if you need a full-width TopBar and, of course, set the colors via the theme Customizer. See this screenshot http://prntscr.com/958ncj
2. You can add via the Theme Options (in each one of the positions): Menu, Search, Language Selector, Contact Form, Social icons and Text. Have in mind that you can choose any of the contact forms you have created and not just one predefined. Finally, write whatever you need via the text area or use it to add a shortcode (by an external plugin for example). See these screenshots http://prntscr.com/958nge – http://prntscr.com/958nko
Hope this is helpful
Best Regards.
sounds good.
and what about portfolio elements? as I see, there are some predefined options for portfolio design where I could add pics or videos. does it mean that visual composer is disabled in portfolio elements? could I use my personal portfolio layout via visual composer?
Hey there,
You can enable and use the Visual Composer everywhere you wish. In pages, posts, portfolios and products. There are some predefined options in the single portfolio items, mainly for the media area which you can also use, but you can simply ignore them in order to create any custom content you need via the Visual Composer.
Regards.
cool
About the TopBar, we have also added an article on our Knowledge Base which you can read here. Thanks for your feedback
Cheers.
yepp, nice
sorry, but one more question about portfolio items. how the order is organized in one category? by date? is there an opportunity to give each item an order number to make my own correct sequence?
Hi! You are able to order them by ID, Slug, Title (Ascending, Descending). If you need to reorder them manually, there are quite a few plugins for this. You can also watch this video tutorial for the Portfolio Overview in Blade – https://vimeo.com/144210779
Regards.
ok. could you suggest any couple of plugins for ordering portfolio items that doesn’t have any conflicts with your theme? it’s really very important question. because I have only one theme purchased, that supports that function in stock. that was very helpful and solved many problems and time.
Hey! Verrrrry pretty
Wondering if sticky menus are available?
Hey ladydekade,
Thanks for your comment
Sure there are available! Blade provides 3 different sticky header types to choose from as you can in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/956hdc from the backend. You can also check them in our demos. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
We look forward to having you on board!
Best Regards.
Very Nice work, good luck
Thank you joomlastars
good work
Thank you EricProchnow
Really nice design, nice work!
Thank you very much digitalscience
A Great Template! GLWS
Thank you so very much HinaThemes
Hello,
Love the theme!! Just have a few questions:
1) I really love the layout of the Elements descriptions with colored sidebar. Would it be possible to have that on my personal site?
2) How difficult would it be to narrow the width of the text column for full-width blog posts (while still keeping the images outside those margins)?
3) Have you thought about integrating a custom font options (e.g., Typekit, self-hosted fonts)?
Thank you!
Hey mwhite8216,
We are glad you like Blade
1) Basically, this is not sidebar but one/third column and, YES, sure you can use it anywhere you wish on your site.
2) It is quite easy with some CSS. We will consider the possibility of adding an option for this. Thanks!
3) There is already a simple process to upload your custom fonts and use them via the child theme. You can also read this article on our knowledge base. We have also plans for adding this option in our framework.
We look forward to having you on board!
Best Regards.
Thank you for the fast reply!! I am really loving the Blade demos!
Welcome on board! Enjoy it
STUNNING theme, do you know if you could use this to plug-in IDX real estate listings (such as: dsIDX Pro?) Thank You
Hey nealy2k,
Thank you very much for your comment! Honestly, we have no idea about the compatibility with this plugin. In case that you come on board, maybe you will be able to check it with our team
Best Regards.
I will give it a try. Thank you and again beautiful work!
We are glad you like it! Cheers
Lovely theme, thank you for your work…
Browsing it popped up some questions…
1) How hard would it be to add a single column portfolio page option (preferably with a further option for horizontal scrolling navigation)?
Currently using a theme which divides up my art portfolio into separate portfolio pages, each presented as such – which would be a cool design element to retain.
For example: http://www.AVart.co/surrealism2) The sites search functionality seems kinda basic for a theme this powerful.
For example, first it doesn’t display images for search results.
Second, it would seem very helpful (if not almost essential) to have results slightly stylized different depending on whether the found posts were either…
a) blog post, b) portfolio post, c) e-commerce product
3) Multiple portfolios, they are supported, yes?
4) The search icon seems to disappear when not on the home-page, is there control over this behavior?
Hi arielvillasenor,
Firstly, thanks for your kind words
Let’s see how can we help you:
1) Adding a single column portfolio overview is quite easy, we will maybe add it in a future release. About the horizontal navigation, there is already a portfolio carousel in Blade’s core elements.
2) You are right! Blade deserves one more impressive search page. Thank you very much for your feedback here. We really appreciate it
3) Of course yes!
4) The power of Blade is that you can override almost everything per page/post/portfolio/product. This is the reason for not having the search icon on some pages. We just override it (disable) per page. Thanks for this question.
Hope this is helpful for you.
Best Regards.
Of course, they’ve certainly been earned
AND, bravo for the lightning fast response
Replies…
1) Wonderful to hear. So checked out the carousel mentioned, and that’s a nifty option, however don’t think it helps for my primary need. A static (user single “column”, which scrolled by user input would be the goal. The linked to example should really shed light on what I’m after. How much into the future do you think we’d be talking about for such an upgrade?
2) Haha, right on
Stoked to hear it resonates with ya! So same ultimate question as 1), how far into the future do you think this would be?
3) Sweet!
4) Double sweet!
5) Yes, your super fast, cheerful, and lucid responses are a breath of fresh air, compared to some developers.
Best regards as well, AV.
PS:
A thought just struck re: 1)
Are the carousels mentioned customizable?
Maybe they could work if their aspect ratio, animation behavior (can they be paused?), and size, could be configured.
Many apologies for the delayed response but I had to count and write the options that Carousel element offers. Hope that we will have one video tutorial per element asap. It will make my life easier
1) So, the Carousel element provides: Carousel Image Mode (Portrait, Square, Landscape), Link Type (Classic Portfolio, Gallery Usage, Custom Link), Items per page, Gutter between images, Items to show, Hide Portfolio Title, Hide Portfolio Likes, Heading to choose, Image Zoom Effect, Overlay Color, Overlay Opacity, Autoplay, Slideshow Speed, Pause on Hover, Navigation Type (3 styles), Navigation Color, Ordering and Categories to choose. Sorry, if I am missing something. Remind me that when you purchase and use Blade!
2) I will discuss it with the team tomorrow. Without promising anything, we will do our best.
3)
4)
5) Thank you very much for helping us present this amazing theme
Best Regards.
Hi there,
Hope you are fine
We would just let you know that in our last update, the search page was redesigned. You can check it here. Now there is a masonry style with filters and featured images for the search results. Thanks again for your feedback!
Best Regards.
Hola GReatives… and thanks for the good news!
Really cool to see the feedback get implemented, super super cool. Thank you.
After exploring again, I have these thoughts:
a) So when using the search functionality I seem to be seeing some inconsistent UI performance. For example, the link provided seems to show that search results are broken down by result type (post, page, portfolio, etc.). However when I execute a separate test search (say for “bag”), I see various result types, but no type filter. Also (at least on a desktop, using Chrome), the prior search results remain stored in the search field.
b) Also when using the search functionality, it seems a user has to activate the text search field by clicking on it (at least on a desktop, using Chrome). Can this be changed so that the text field is automatically active?
c) One thing I’d like to confirm relates to portfolio navigation… I’d like to separate my portfolio by distinct portfolio pages for each category (pin-up vs surrealism, etc.), and then setup sub-divisions of each portfolio by portfolio item year (leveraging categories I’d imagine).
The question is when a user is viewing a given portfolio item details page and chooses to navigate L – R between items, are they corralled within the given portfolio pages items, (the page they originally started from), or do they basically scroll through all the portfolio items?
d) And last but not least, any thoughts on the prior question on a horizontal scrolling portfolio page option?
Think that’s it for now… many continued thanks for all the work poured into this beautiful theme, and for all the support!
Cheers,
Ariel
Hey there,
Thanks for getting back
a) This is because we do not include the products in the filter and you get only pages. We will check this. About the stored results, I am not so sure if it is bad.
b) We will investigate it, however, we are not sure what is better here.
c) I think that you will need to make the necessary modifications visiting Envato studio, no matter the theme you select.
d) We will see what we can do
Thnx again for your kind words and good luck with your projects.
Regards.
Great work, GLWS
Thank you 2codeThemes
Very nice theme. Is it possible to have the latest posts on the slider on the frontpage?
Thanks
Thanks wbrenner! You can have a blog carousel like this on http://greatives.eu/themes/blade/homepage-v4/ . Of course, you are able to sort the posts as you wish.
Regards.
Absolutely stunning! Osmosis is a tough one to follow but you have pulled it off and more! Good luck.
Thank you. That means a lot, coming from you.
