Hello DFD Team, Our site will be in two languages: French (default language) and English.
I have installed the WPML plugin and now need your help with a few problems with the Language Switcher and the translation for our site
problem 01
I can’t manage to display the switcher the same way that it appears in the demo. Once I activate the WPML switcher in Theme options > Header options > WPML language switcher, the languages shown are no longer written in abbreviations “FR” and “EN”, but rather in full “FRANÇAIS” and “ANGLAIS” (which is another error as it should be “English” instead of “Anglais”). I also made sure the needed languages were in the Language selection shortcode field from the Header options.

problem 02 The Language switcher doesn’t stay active long enough for the user to be able to choose the second language; it collapses too early.

problem 03 Is the theme translated in French? It doesn’t appear so… the fields aren’t translated (“Recent comments”, “Search on site”, “Continue”, etc.) When I look under WPML > Theme and plugins localization, it can’t locate the fr_FR.mo file in the theme. If it isn’t already translated in French, can you tell me how to proceed using the WPML plugin?

1. Probably, the language switcher inherits the language titles from the WPML plugin settings. Please, navigate to WPML > Languages section and correct the titles in the table.
2. The language switcher is overlapping with the back to top button and is hidden that fast. Please, fill in the page with content and the language switcher will work properly.
3. Yes, the theme is not translated to French. It’s provided with the en.pot file that can be used to create multiple translations. We recommend you to use the Poedit to translate the theme. Here are some more instructions. You can also mail us to dynamicframeworks@gmail.com and we’ll provide you with the fr_FR.po and fr_FR.mo files to translate.

Hi Maria, Thanks for your help; problems 01 and 02 are solved! As for the translation of the site, it looks more complicated… I’m trying to translate the theme with WPML String Translation plugin, and I can’t locate all the fields that need to be translated.

There are some Visual Composer modules disabled in the theme. However, there’s an option to activate them back. Please, navigate to Theme options > Main options > Enable Default Modules for Visual Composer. Then access to Visual Composer > General Settings > Administrator – select the needed modules and save changes. Now the needed modules will be available in the Backend Editor while editing the page.

Hi, ‘m trying to get some in-page navigation working and have a couple of questions…
1. When using anchors on rows to create in-page navigation, is is possible the page can scroll smoothly like it does when clicking the ‘back to top’ button? At the moment is jumps instantly.
2. When linking to an anchor, is it possible with a bit of code.. or possible future update, to include a + / – pixel value adjustment to the anchor, so that when you jump to it the row can be displayed in a certain position on the screen?

I can’t add spacing to my top row to make the anchorswork… so my custom back to top button doesn’t go up far enough as part of the anchor destination is always obscured by the sticky menu bar – the theme needs an extra pixel adjustment field for the anchor in the row settings. Can I put this forward as a suggestion for a future update please?

Unfortunately, the smooth scroll is only available with the menu and to top button at the moment. We’ll add this feature to the wishlist and will probably implement it in future.
As for the ‘back to top’ button, there’s default theme button that leads directly to the top of the page.

Thanks for the feedback, can I ask please is there an #anchor link I can apply to my custom back-to-top buttons (appreciate there is a default back to top but client wants these custom buttons) that will take the view right back to the top in the same way as the default button? I need it to go right to the top of the page.

Unfortunately, the map cannot be displayed inside the Accordion module. Only the maps of the originally expanded accordion sections can be displayed, due to the scripts behavior.

I am working with the Ronneby Theme my Client purchased from you. The layout being used is from the twenty_seventh Design. Now to my questions, is it possible, where the boxed clients list is (our devoted clients…), to make four same sized boxes, next to each other? If yes, I was wondering how? Since it is not working with columns-settings.
I finished the Menu, but have to place now two more Elements (with anchors) in the menu-structure. How do I place a new element?

Yes, it’s possible to create 4 equal columns with clients logos. Please, create a row, divide it into 4 columns and set the equal height for the row. After that you can add the Single images with logos.
Simply, navigate to Appearance > Menus > select the needed menu to edit it and add 2 Custom links with the anchors.

Envato Toolkit tells me version 1.1.0 is available to update our version 1.0.6 I have supplied the username and api from our Envato Marketplace account however the update times out.
We are using a child theme (In case that’s relevant?) how do I manually apply the latest version which I have downloaded? Ideally the api route would be better.

Please, navigate to Appearance > Themes > and deactivate and delete the Ronneby theme, after that click on Add new > Upload > and select the ronneby.zip archive (from previously downloaded themeforest archive) to update the theme manually.
Yes, the child theme is relevant and you can place all the modified theme files to it to make sure all the changes will be available after the theme update.

Great! I broke it. Somehow the CodeCanyon Visual Composer license key is missing and all the Ultimate Spacers have disappeared ACROSS THE WHOLE SITE! and yet spat their code over the text boxes ultimate_spacer height=”100” height_on_tabs=”50” height_on_mob=”25” where do I get a license key from?
Please, update the Visual Composer to the latest version for proper compatibility.
Navigate to Plugins > deactivate and delete the Visual Composer plugin. You’ll get the notification about required Visual Composer plugin and will be able to install the latest version included to the theme.

OK I seem to have fixed it by re-installing js_composer which seems to no longer be wpbakery visual composer. And then manually deleting the ronneby and ronneby_child and the re-installing them. The only issue I have now is the background on the top menu is missing so that the menu is invisible until you scroll down a bit? Weird!

You can finish the one license site during 6 months. Or you can purchase extended support for 12 months.

Hi I an experiencing errors with “Installing Main Demo Content”.
This wouldn’t be a problem but your theme documentations is completely out of date/incorrect. Paths to directories don’t exist and files don’t correspond to location or names in your documentation.
For instance: 1. This is in your documentation and this path doesn’t exist.Main content\import\layout\redux_options_ronneby_layout.json. Open this file and copy the content.
2. I searched the entire directory & this file doesn’t exist.

You will find dummy_layout.xml file in Main content\import\layout\ folder in the package that you've downloaded from Themeforest. Find dummy_layout.xml and click Upload file and import.

The import pack was modified and all the import files are now located in themeforest-11776839-ronneby-highperformance-wordpress-theme\Mainfiles\import\first\ folder (the folder is named after the layout). Inside one can find the dummy_first.xml – for the content, first.zip – for the slider, redux_options_ronneby_first.json – for the theme options, smk_sidebar_generator.txt – for custom sidebars.
We’ll also add the correct paths to the update.

I have a very strange problem. All of a sudden the ‘social media’ buttons seems to have stopped working when you press ‘share’ (in my case callend ‘delen’). on the bottom of a blog page.

This issue is caused by Twitter. There’s a failure in it that damages the share script itself. It’ll be probably fixed in the future modifications.

Will ‘turning off’ the Twitter feed solve the problem in the meantime?
The Twitter will work after the file replacing as well as the other sharing networks. After the issue is fixed in Twitter, you’ll probably have to contact us again in order to replace the file back.

When loading certain site pages, it looks like it shows one of the images shows up as a pixilated full sized image and then it goes back to normal size in the layout. Any way of fixing this so it only loads as the final size in the layout?

You can install the ronneby child theme from the themeforest archive. It includes the style.css file that can be modified to apply all the needed code styling.
The app.css file is rewritten every time after the theme options saving and all the manual changes aren’t saved.

Yes, the latest plugins versions are included to the theme pack. As you’ve already installed the 1.1.0 theme version, please, navigate to the Plugins section and deactivate and then delete the Revolution Slider plugin. After that you’ll have the notification about the recommended plugins ready to install – proceed to the installation to get the latest plugin version.

The masonry gallery aligns all the images at the bottom of the previous one without adjusting the height, like the grid template. So there can appear the extra paddings at the bottom.

As for the instructions, for the left column we’ve added image background and full-screen youtube video module, for the right column we also added background color and Spacers, Headings and Simple video module with thumbnail image.Also the parent row has Force equal height columns and Align content vertically options enabled.

I can’t still make it work. I want the right column, to display a heading, 4 videos in 2 rows (2 in each row) and some padding around. How do i do so?
It’s doing that, because the image in the first column, is very big, and i have checked equal heights, since if i dont, it will only show the height of the play button and so.

You can don’t worry about the theme update in case you haven’t done any theme files modifications.
Otherwise, we can recommend you to save all the modified files on your computer before the update and upload them back after the update. You can also use the child theme, or implement all the changes manually.
The content won’t be overwritten during the update.
