We haven’t tested the ninja plugin with our theme so I’m not aware of its functionality therefore I can’t give you a solution on this. Check plugin’s page for methods of placing the subscriber form on your site or address plugin’s authors.

Regarding “Editor;s pics” I believe you refer to this footer block:” http://screencast.com/t/rOxyVjbggelR which is a predefined content of the footer area you just have to set from theme’s panel > footer section. first of all sorry for the delay. The problem seems to be from speed booster and woocommerce. If possible please try to disable the tagDiv speed booster plugin and see if it works. If the issue is not resolved, please contact us via email to contact@tagdiv.com (paste your issue again in the email so we know who you are) . If you give us wp-admin access, that would speed up the debug process.

You’re right for 1 and 2 however for 3 I might add that with a proper configuration and customizations concerning speed aspect it can be improved so I would not consider this matter as a term of comparison since both theme share the same core their performances are similar.

4. I’m not sure to which header designs you refer however I believe you can use theme’s api or other customization to create similar header designs. Let me know to which ones you refer and I’ll let you know how easy can you set theme on newspaper theme or if they can be set.

5. Yes, any of the theme don’t have this feature, you can try a plugin for it tough and I’ll also add this on our feature request list and consider it if we decide to change ticker functionality in the future.

I’m not aware of any other differences between them at the moment, I believe you have mentioned them all that you are also aware of the differences between their grids – newspaper’s grid width is 1068px while newsmag’s width is 1021px.

6. Yes, unfortunately we cannot give precise answers concerning any of those plugins. Sorry!

Please make sure that you use a plugin to add open graph tags on your page to tell fb sharer which image and other informations to grab when sharing a post, for that we recommend the Yoast SEO plugin which was tested with the theme: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

As Lucian stated above this request is added on our list. but for the moment it is not a priority as we have many requests on our lists and last 2 updates were released especially for fixes. I cannot provide you an exact answer about when or if this will be implemented, but the developer will consider your request for future. The newsmag theme has this bordered grid design and I’m not sure if this will be implemented also for newspaper in near future.

Unfortunately we don’t have a tutorial on how to use theme’s buttons but we plan to add one in the near future.

I tried to change the author link but failed. I even deleted the code to see if it disapperrs and it is still showing the author link. Are you sure that is the template that I need to change? It looks like it’s not from there. I just want to change the author link under the child theme.

Hi,

Unfortunately this happens because of wp’s cropping system which crops the images and while doing so it removes the animations and display just a thumbnail of the image without animations.

To avoid this behavior you would need to make sure you display the image at its full width so if you need this in post’s content you can make sure you use the full width image there and for that change the get image function to ‘full’ like this: http://screencast.com/t/zSILME2Q the set your post template to default and stet this again.
