I have a number of multi-page pdfs I’ve used as samples of print pieces on my site. Can I use these, or do I have to upload pages (of a brochure, for example) individually?

I don’t know if I understood you question right, the PDF files cannot be previewed with the theme, you can only upload them and set to view in PDF Viewer or download them directly.

Hello - I just updated the Kalium theme to the latest version and noticed that the homepage no longer loads a few of my portfolio items at the bottom. There are about 3-5 missing I believe. The site is www.bfdesign.ca – any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks!

Hi Arlind – actually, I figured out the issue so it’s all working now. I just had to adjust how many items were showing up on a page (I’m assuming this was a new addition to the theme?). Thanks for your response.

Hi, I just updated the theme to v 1.8, and some of the settings changed. The only problem that I didn’t manage to fix is the footer from the Home Page, I can’t get it to be full hidden. This is the home page: http://arhmihaisava.ro/

We have added a new option now, for the users who don’t want the bottom space.
Just go to that page where you want to remove bottom margins, and then follow this procedure below:
So to the section “No Bottom Margin” just click Yes and that row will not have bottom margins

You can do that by using the Sidebar element via Visual Composer and then add the menu as a Widget even though that is not recommended because it won’t show in some pages.

Hi,
I am working on my client’s website, he purchased this theme, version 1.7.2.
I tried to work on revolution slider (version 5.0.9) to create one HTML5 video slide, and added all the .mp4, .webm., and .ogv formats along with the cover image (I used the HTML5 Video option in the “Main Background” section)... The video slide looks perfect on desktop, however, when i browse it on all my mobile devices (iOS and Android), all I get is the cover image, but can’t seem to be able to load or see the video.
What am I missing here? Appreciate your help, thank you.

The CSS you provided is the only way to hide it and I am sure it will work, are you posting it in the post Custom CSS?

}
So on that CSS code that you have made earlier, just include this other code:
.main-header {
border-bottom: black 6px solid;
display: none !important;
}
If something still don’t work, then you have problems on your CSS, maybe you have forgot opened any { } bracket.
P.S: Please update to the Kalium 1.8.1, that has been released Today.

The border is added in the theme’s custom CSS, not the portfolio item that I’ve linked to. I would like to hide the header on the linked portfolio entry only, and so am using the Custom CSS for that portfolio entry, but the code provided is still not doing that for me. I am using Kalium 1.8.1

Sorry, but I’ve replaced the PHP file as instructed and am still having the same problem.
Another problem I’m having are my slideshows are auto-playing on mobile devices. I have the autoplay field set to blank, so that shouldn’t be happening.

You are using an old version of our theme (1.8.1) and the latest version for the moment is (1.8.2), please update theme first.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

You can use the Child Theme if you don’t want to overwrite the theme files, Kalium uses the Envato Toolkit where you can update the theme version when a new one has been released.

I’ve been trying to set up the portfolio page up but am having some trouble with the portfolio categories/filter. Basically I want to set up different portfolio pages each of which shows a different group of projects dependent on the categories set for each portfolio page. For example, one portfolio page might show projects associated with photography and film, another shows items associated with design and a third shows items associated with typography. How can I achieve this?

The new update of Kalium solves this issue, so just update to V1.8 and you will have have only those categories from the items you choose to show for that page.

Hi!
I’m having an issue with the vertical height of my pages. On my front page, there is a section of white space beow the revolution slider, and on my other pages, the footer can only be seen by scrolling down (even though there is not enough content to require this). Is there a setting that I have missed to alter the page height, or a custom css I need to add in somewhere?

As a first step, we recommend you to update our theme, because you are using an old version of our theme (1.7.2) and the latest version for the moment is (1.8), please update theme first.
The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.
As for your questions, after the update please do this:
1— We have added a new option now, for the users who don’t want the bottom space.

2— Just go to your WP Dashboard > Laborator > Theme Options > Footer > find the “Fixed Footer” section and from it’s dropdown menu click Normal.

Hi, there seems to be an issue with the Kalium ‘Agency’ Demo; when I navigate to a portfolio item page (via image link on the home page), an error is briefly displayed in the top-left corner, usually in the following format: Array ( [resize] => 360,360 ). I have tested this in both Firefox & Chrome. I’m looking to purchase Kalium and would like to determine if this might be a problem. Thanks in advance! hey there,
I finished my site with your template now, but I am stuck with some issues: I would really appreciate it if you could help me solve these. If you tell me how I can send u my login, that is also possible.
1. What is the file directory for the default marker (pin) for maps? 2. Can I change the font size of the running text? 3. the contact form does not work. If i click “send message” i recieve the email in my admin email account, but there is no feedback for the person that wants to send an email via the contact form that the message has been sent (contact form stays in a grey overlay animation) 4. The sorting of the portfolio by cathegory is very glitchy / laggy. the animation is not smooth and the portoflio thumbnails jump all over the place. How can i solve this?

1. To manage the spacing between elements you have to edit the columns and rows of Visual Composer, firstly click the pencil icon to edit it.
Now a popup will open, see screenshot what you need to do and then click Save nad Update.

In order to get a similar format from page to page, I’d like to replace the Kalium header with the one on the custom home page. Is there a quick way to fix this? Thanks for any help!

The only way is to edit the PHP files, there is no other way to get the same look of the homepage header, if you’re good at PHP then this will be no problem but if you aren’t sure how to do it better don’t touch it cause it may cause huge problems.

Looks like the video’s on the zig zag portfolio aren’t mobile friendly. at least the vimeo one that I’m using isn’t. If we could get a fix for that it would be amazing
