Hi,

maybe I found a bug related to an internal google api use in this theme

I noticed that this theme reports an Internal google api error which doesn’t allow third party google api plugins to work properly.

This error is reported in any page, even without a google map api inserted in the page.

I tried to activate a standard wordpress theme and the warning message with the related problem disappear.

please check the console error:

Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages

http://maps.googleapis.com/maps-api-v3/api/js/23/2/intl/it_ALL/util.js this api error is present even on all your live preview demo websites such as: http://themes.laborator.co/aurum/fashion/

and also on all others of your themes such as Kalium

Could you please check this issue and tell me how to deactivate the internal google api for this theme?

Or maybe you could fix this bug in a future release…

Hi, I’m in love with your Tech Store demo theme. I’m having a few issues though.

1. Not everything is translated. I’ve tried multiple ‘fixes’ and plugins like Loco Translate which u suggested but with no succes. Basically I want my webshop completely in Dutch and certain strings such as this http://puu.sh/lM76C/9ada03ec1d.png or http://puu.sh/lM78Q/f5b14107da.png are not translated. I translate them in the .po file, through Loco Translate aswell as manually but on the website it’s still english(same problem as user liamali has in your comments.

2. When importing the media files demo content of the Tech Store I got an error (something like [ErrType: xml-wp-content] Internal Server Error not sure) and it kinda messes up a few things in my template. For example my checkout page is cut on the sides (http://puu.sh/lM7vH/f13b7e712c.png).

3. Last question is. How do I remove certain fields such as this empty one(no placeholder one): http://puu.sh/lM7A8/2471efe2be.png. This is the checkout page btw and there’s a random text field with no placeholder. When using inspect element I found out it’s for billing_address_2. I don’t need it and to be honest. Also I’m kind of missing a field for housenumber or something like that. Or should my customer fill that in with adres?

One more thing. My Aurum theme, that I just downloaded and installed on my Wordpress has over 40 outdated WooCommerce template files. Is this fixed soon by an update from you guys or should I do something about it asap myself?

I have a few questions regarding the contact page template and how emails show up in my mail account (Gmail) once they have been submitted through the built in contact form. I have included a screenshot to show you exactly what I want changed.

1. Inside the square brackets the site title has an “&” but it is showing up as “&” how can I sanitize or escape it and where?

2. Further down it shows the IP address the form was submitted from…this info isn’t necessary for me, how can I disable this?

3. At the bottom of the email it says “This email has been automatically sent from Contact Form.” How can I edit this? I noticed that it’s not grabbing this text from the contact form plugin, so where do I edit this footer?

Actually that is not supported but I will add the support for it in the next update. So here is what you need to do:

Open functions.php from line 40–43 replace those lines with these ones:

require 'inc/lib/smof/smof.php';
require locate_template( 'inc/laborator_actions.php' );
require locate_template( 'inc/laborator_filters.php' );
require locate_template( 'inc/laborator_functions.php' );

So when you create these in your child theme they will be overridden.

This is not very good if you replace those files because we continually change something in these files each update. So the best solution for you to replace the email template for contact form would be this (add this code in functions.php of child theme):

So copy the code you already wrote to modify emails and apply to superfeincreative_contact_form function.

It is better solution.

You are using an old version of our theme (2.6) and the latest version for the moment is (2.7), please update theme first.

The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure :)

Then don’t forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

Actually I did extensive trouble shooting, the error is only occurring when I have the woo commerce plugin activated. It appears some of the templates in Arum 2.6 are out of date and that is causing the issue.

I have your newest them installed and woo commerce currently disabled. You can go into the plugins and activate wocommerce and try playing around with the homepage vc. Add a product carousel and you’ll see what error I’m talking about. It would be great to get this fixed asap! Thanks!

If you try the site sassyurban.com on a mobile device it is only showing 50% of the site. It almost shrinks the site in half. It works fine when you resize in browser, you ned to go on an actual mobile device to see the error.

Just an update, a plugin I had installed was causing the error. This has been resolved, thanks!

I’m having trouble getting the visual composer to work with my updated theme. Whenever I make a change to the homepage it just says loading products and the entire page goes blank. I updated Arum and I believe my visual composer is up to date too but there seems to still be an error. If you don’t mind checking it out I would greatly appreciate it. Please make sure that you are using Aurum 2.6, and then go to Appearance > Install Plugins and check if there is a new version of Visual Composer that you can update first.

Hi, I am having issues with pagination showing up twice on the shop page. I have updated everything and it works locally fine. I looked at the archive-product.php page and it looks normal. Any help would be appreciated. I am considering buying another license of Aurum for another project.

Well it looks like it has to do when i select “masonry mode” in the shop settings. The second pagination goes away when I turn that setting off.

I am still having issues with lots of blank spaces on the Shop page though, I have tried several things including conformity.js matchheight.js and so on. it seems fairly intermittent but when it happens it can be pretty bad. Any new fix for this I can implement?

I want to change the color of the underline in the main menu. Right now it’s black but I want to change it to the color #dab05e. I want the underline to only show when the page is the active page and when the line shows, it will be the gold color #dab05e.

Also, I would like the Menu background button when you hover to change from grey to white or transparent.

Hello ! Thanks for the beautiful theme, I have some problems with I would like to ask you about.
First, the product images I put inside the product page don’t resize on mobile http://www.pdlx.kr/prob2.jpeg

And second after I used the Custom Skin Builder to change only the Button color option, a black box appear on the menu button after clicking on them. http://www.pdlx.kr/prob1.png

Some minor problems, http://www.pdlx.kr/prob3.png // the text and the icons overlap

Minor change : http://www.pdlx.kr/prob4.png // The text input box can be resize, and it would be nice to be able to put the send mail button more centered, or left.

Also it seems the image I upload get downgraded in quality even though they are in PNG, do you have any idea where this problem could come from?

Also it would be nice to be able to add a section to the Contact page, like a drop down menu with several options. This is just a suggestion though. I believe the contact form is not dependent of any contact7 form right?

To remove outdated files notification on Aurum follow these steps:

1. Download this file: http://drops.laborator.co/1ciu8+

2. Replace it in this directory:

wp-content/themes/aurum/woocommerce/single-product/

We will update Aurum soon, and those warning will disappear :)

The main menu do’s not work on the iPad/tablet in landscape mode.

When I touch the menu, the dropdown menu doesn’t show? Nothing happens?

I can of course make a mobile menu, but isn’t it suppose to work with touch?

After the update, a lot of our translation in the loco translation for the Aurum theme is lost??

The problem is that when you update theme languages/ folder contained there will be changed as well.

If you have used Envato Toolkit to update the theme, you will have backup files of previous update, so all you need to do is move language files .po/.mo in languages folder (Except aurum.pot)

I hope you have updated theme via Envato Toolkit and checked “Save backup” of the theme.

Hi, I am trying to create a contact page, but I am unable to change the Map coordinates. There appears to be no Contact settings or any method by which to change the coordinates.

In the contact page, when you add your coordinates, try this using our own built in metabox by clicking “Add Map Point” and select your location, like shown in the below screenshot:

I still am having trouble removing the description and related products tabs on single product pages – am using Aurum as a child theme. Have applied all the various codes but they remain. Can you help further?

Also I would like to change the ‘out of stock’ badge on the product pages to ‘sold’ please.

To remove related products add this code in functions.php

Also, do you mean you want to remove product description tab? If so, apply this code in functions.php:

add_filter( 'woocommerce_product_tabs', 'woocommerce_product_tabs_remove_description', 100 );

function woocommerce_product_tabs_remove_description( $tabs ) {
    unset( $tabs['description'] );
    return $tabs;
}

To change Out of stock label, install Loco Translate plugin, then choose WooCommerce plugin to translate and search for “Out of stock”, change the value and it will be applied to your items.

It depends on what issue you have. Users have reported that Aurum is working in IE9+ so I don’t know why it does not work in your case.

Does our demo looks fine when you view in IE9? It would be great if you can give me a sample screenshot because I am currently using OS X and don’t have IE on my machine.
