When edit the row element, you can see “Background” tab and select again the image.

i will be running my woocommerce site as a multivendor site using dokan multivendor, and i will be using WP Total Cache and also runniing banner ads using AdRotate
i didn’t see an ecommerce template demo quite the way that i wanted
would i be able to achieve something close to the following:

1. there would be several banner sliders in the sidebar, and there would be a banner slider 728×90 in the header, and maybe some small banners within the main body
2. i would also want to highlight my brands, etc, in a few sliders near the bottom, see the pic above (you might need to click the image to enlarge it)
3. i’d also like to put the search box inline in the main top nav bar and have the social links next to the search box, you’ll see in the pic above
4. the three boxes labeled “Free Shipping & Return”, “Money Back Guarantee”, and “Online Support 24/7” would each be Titles of blog posts that I would create. however, it’s possible that the middle box “Money Back Guarantee” might be a banner slider instead, i gotta think about it
5. btw, can you provide a full set of demo data so that i can set up my site exactly like the demo so i can learn the system really well?

Hi, 1. You can add the shortcode in header contact info and customize header template file. 2. It’s possible. When edit the single image shortcode, you can configure lightbox params. 3. You should customize header template file. 4. When edit the posts, you can add custom block in content top or content inner top. 5. Please check our demo site. Updated the theme following the documentation (via FTP). After recompiling css, many things are not the same as before (colors, styles …) When I saved changes after updating, a warning was displayed: Warning: file_put_contents(/home/itblproject/public_html/wp-content/themes/porto/css/skin_rtl_1.css): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/itblproject/public_html/wp-content/themes/porto/inc/admin/ReduxCore/inc/class.redux_filesystem.php on line 160 Changed file permissions to 755 but nothing happens.Actually don’t know how to make things as before, the site is online since a few days and layout is different from the one my client likes and tomorrow he has too pay me the site ….Thank you.
Hi again! Good news! Forget the update isuue. It was only a folder permissions problem as from the theme documentation: I had to increase
wp-content/themes/porto/css
wp-content/themes/porto/less
wp-content/themes/porto/scss
to 777, if they are 755 is not enough. Should I change again to 755 if it could be a safety problem? if not I leave them that way, so the next update will work normally.
One question: can’t update Master Slider from the Install plugins. How to get it? Thank you.

I have imported the dummy data. I never saw that it was succefful, so I did it several times. Now I have some redundant datas i.e. 3 times currency, 3 times language, 3 x blogs, etc. How can I solve this problem without deleting each single thing by hand? Why is the post title h2? It should be h1! Please solve this asap.
Hi, Could you change manually in content-post-*.php? We didn’t added h2 tag because the page title is h1 when enable Show Page Title in Theme Options > Breadcrumbs. Please check http://newsmartwave.net/wordpress/porto/demo11/aliquam-erat-volutpat-2/ When disable the page title, will load and hide the page title. We checked duplicate h1 seo issue when use h1 in the post title so used h2. Regards

Hi, 1. Could you use ultimate addons google map shortcode? You can configure the Map Type when edit this shortcode. If you are using visual composer google map, you should add the google map iframe code. 2. Please configure again the visual composer image shortcodes or visual composer row shortcode (background tab content). 3. Could you edit again the menu items in Appearance > Menus? Thease are custom links so you can change the links. Regards.

Hallo. The mobile menu is not working properly anymore. It’s only the overlay that is triggered by the burger icon, and not the slideout menu. It does not change position and z-index.

Second, as a long time wordpress web designer I encounter the same problem with every theme: missing translation for my language. Since English is no longer the only language of the Internet, I bet you’ll have an even greater success with your themes if you include translations at least for the most common languages. Think about it! If you like the idea, I can provide you with translations for French, Italian, Romanian and Hungarian languages. What do you think?

1. does Porto use a woocommerce.php file as a workaround for compliance with woocommerce, or does it build it “the right way” so to speak, here is a quick article on this:

I tried using the Visual Composer Advanced Carousel Element which doesn’t seem to work. (even though I watched the video instructions). Can you tell me how to get the blog posts in a carousel please?
well, took me all day to figure out you had a simple solution for this using Porto Recent Posts and not to use VC Carousel element. But I figured it out and won’t forget that one. Hi, Please configure “Related Posts Image Size” in Theme Options > Post > Single Post. Please regenerate all the thumbnails in Tools > Regen.Thumbnails. You can change “Related Posts Style”. You should customize content-post-item*.php to remove description and date.

Hi, Please check after regenerate default css files in Theme Options > Skin > Compile Default CSS. You should add custom css in Theme Options > Skin > Custom CSS. If you backup theme settings, please check again after import it.

You can translate default po file with POEdit tool. If you want to change the manuall, please change in inc/functions/layout/breadcrumbs.php and page-title.php.
Hi again, I installed Porto on my “mother” site so that it would look like the shop site. So far I’m really liking the changes! However I noticed there’s a padding difference from shop to main site. I’m guessing it’s the gutter width. I’ve changed it a couple times and flushed the cache but the results are the same. I want it to have the same padding area that the shop site has. Do I click all 4 options in Compile CSS files? And will it erase my custom CSS coding or custom design?
If you are not using rtl language, you don’t need to click “Theme RTL CSS”, “Plugins RTL CSS” buttons. You should add the styles in css/bootstrap_.css, theme_.css, plugins_.css, skin_.css. These files will be regenerate. You should add custom styles in style.css or Theme Options > Skin > Custom CSS.
