I bought the theme, but I cannot login to that account.
I updated to wordpress 4.4 and three different nectar sliders on the homepage started to all show the same slider. I am currently using divs to hide this problem but how can I get the sliders to point to the correct places again?

Does anyone else’s font options in the Salient theme options look like this when you update to Wordpress 4.4?

Hi there,
For some reason multiple slides are showing on my pages all of a sudden. So for instance: http://jimparkerphoto.com – this main slide at the top of this page should have 5 slides.
http://jimparkerphoto.com/about/ – should have one slide.Etc. It has been working fine up until today so not sure if its a bug? I’ve tried removing the slides and adding them again but its not working.

You can enable that layout in the options panel > blog tab. It’s the fullscreen option for the blog header type

Hey – it doesn’t require any specific demo to function, it could technically be activated on any setup or with any combination of theme options

Iam using Windows 10 and in IE edge and IE 11 the background of the fullscreen overlayer dissappears, but a second later only the bg is back again.
Iam not using any emulator, but i tried the emulator in IE 11 > IE 10, and it shows the same results.

How can I add my phone number in the header of website above the menu bar? Thank you
Hey, you’d need to use the secondary header for this – once you have that turned in the header tab of the Salient options panel you can add your phone number via a custom link in the appearance > menu section of your admin panel
What are the exact settings to add the phone number and make it clickable on mobile devices. Also on the new version of Salient with 4.4 The social media buttons are not showing up on the iPhone and I see a white line on top and below the phone number area.

Any ideas what the error is? It shows up find on the desktop. Is there a way to get rid of the white line at the top above the phone number? Thank you.
The arrow in the circle on full screen page images does not show up on iPhones. I think it’s a good idea you guys invest in an iPhone to check everything instead of online modulators that imitate iPhones as it’s not always accurate, which I’ve seen before. Please fix. This was also in the prior Salient version as well.
I had to switch back to the prior Salient version even with the new WP 4.4 The new Salient version needs to be really tested thoroughly on iPhone and iPad “real” devices as there are some serious issues, especially mobile navigation bar not working at all.

My company website: http://www.acmediaservices.com I can’t even change the menu fonts to uppercase. Tahir has my login credentials if you can look in the back end. I can’t even use the Nectar slider either. It just choose one of the slide sets only.
The Nectar slider issue will only be present if you updated to 4.4 and didn’t update to the latest Salient as well – I’ll look at your ticket for the other stuff though, what’s the ID?

Hey – it seems your plugin dynamic-menu-manager has the same function name as defined in the salient VC – if you deactivated the plugin it would go away but I would also notify the plugin developer in regards

Hi, this issue has been reported previously but I cannot the solutions; I have 3 different pages, I have 3 different locations (Nectar slider) with 3 different images for each location. The problem is that every page shows all the images despite each pages has a different location assigned to it. Can you pleas help?

I get that we need to update to the current version, but just want to clarify: is there no way to update via the standard Wordpress theme update process, or do I have to download the latest version of Salient and reinstall the theme? Sorry, I’ve only been using Salient for a week so haven’t had to update it before.

I have the same problem. Upgraded to Wordpress 4.4 and Salient isn’t obeying the Nectar slider locations. All slides are showing in one slider only. I used a plugin called ‘One-Click Child Theme’ originally to create a child theme. But when I use ‘Live Preview’ to see if the main Salient theme works with the Nectar slider it also is broken. Any ideas?

Salient v 6.1.71 seemed to cause more problems than it fixed. I reverted back to previous version for now. It seems to mess up much of the css throughout the entire site. Fonts and background colors mostly.
Hey – if you were using the “Move Dynamic/Custom CSS Into External Stylesheet” option in your options panel you would need to click save changes again after updating to resave your stylesheet – this is always needed when updating and using that option in any version
I’m having the same issue as martefilms with my sliders. It’s grabbing all my slides and putting them into the same slider. Any ideas what’s happening?

Hello! When i create a video in the Nectar slider, it will play in Safari just fine, Firefox will stop rather than loop (even with the loop option enabled) and in Chrome a white screen takes over the entire page. I know the slider is responsible because when I remove it the site works fine. (Also, I’ve opened a ticket). Please help ASAP!
