How do I make the single product image smaller so it does not occupy 1/2 of the page? I upload image that is only 400×350 but it display at like 600×450…

Hello, I have a couple of questions about the slider. I am just trying to use a basic slider for the home page of my site. I select the short code from the page and I insert the slide images in the area designated. They appear stacked or in other words the images aren’t sliding back to back. Instead one appears underneath the other. Can you please help?
