Hello there, when i upload an image to media library this image is duplicated in several sizes (50×50; 100×100; 150×150; 300×300; 500×500; 500×1000 and so on…) at the moment i+m running out of limit on my server… i really have to fix this issue…is this a feature from salient theme, or there is other problem in wp?

If you turn this off the masonry portfolio won’t function correctly – however if that’s okay with you can alter it in the functions.php file at the nectar_add_image_sizes function

hi again =) Is there any way to reduce the size of the font used in the single post title? My titles can get to be kinda long and they just look way to big. I tried editing the single post php file and changing the h1 tag to say, h5, but doesnt seem to do anything. is there a quick solution?

Never mind, I just figured this out through previous comments =). Another question though, can I show more posts on my Blog page? I’ve got it set to Masonry with Sidebar, and I’d like it to be infinite scroll or at least show more than 7 posts on the page, tried changing that in the shortcode but doesnt seem to make a difference. Thx as always themenectar.

When I set the page header image I notice that the navigation bar is overlapping the top of the image. What code do I have to set so that the top of the image starts at the bottom of the navigation header and not underneath the bottom of it?

As of now that would require some custom modding however if you used a Nectar Slider you could have a full slide link and it would essentially would be the same thing

Hello! When doing a test on GTmetrix I’m getting an F in the “Specify Image Dimensions” section. It’s saying most of my images are missing width and/or height attributes. Do you have any tips on how to specify image dimensions and get this score up?

Hello, love the theme and have used it for a while – but is there any way to prevent ALL my nectar slides showing in every slider, without updating to the new version?
I updated today and have had various problems with it…
- I lost various customisations I had made (i.e. the font on buttons in Nectar Slider looks terrible in the new version). - My portfolio images are coming up blank if you have them set for the title to appear when you hover over them (my preferred choice) - All my images weren’t working properly in the Media section and not appearing on the site.
I’ve subsequently backed up and gone back to the old version. The only issue I have is with the nectar slider! I just want it back how it was a few weeks ago. Is there a quick fix?

Hey,
You simply need to resave your options panel after updating to get your theme styles rewritten – also remember to clear your cache. If you’re still experiencing these issues please share your URL so I can take a look for you

Unfortunately without seeing the error occurring it’s hard to say what’s causing the issue – when you did experience it did you check the browser console to see if any errors were being reported?

If you’re referring to a lightbox gallery unique to every project openable from the main portfolio gird – this item is still on the wishlist. However as of now you could indeed place full lightbox and non lightbox galleries inside any project details page though

I was testing the new sharing option on the top of my post, don’t know why, but with WPML, in English (main language) the counter works, but it doesn’t in the Spanish translation.

Thanks, don’t know why, only happens in the Spanish version of the site, tried on Edge, IE, FF, Chrome, Opera.
Deleted cookies, thinking it might be because I tested in the English version before trying the Spanish one, but didn’t work. Now, the sharing count does update immediately.

I’d like to override the theme’s css files – not an unusual requirement … but I couldn’t figure out how to do it properly with the salient theme. The main style.css works fine, but I need to override responsive.css, too. Somewhere in this thread it has been suggested to edit the original functions.php, which I find a bad idea. What is the proper way of overriding responsive.css, e.g.? Thanks! (I know about child themes, enqueing files etc. – just couldn’t get it to work with salient)
To be slightly more specific: I succeed in loading all of the css files I need through functions.php in my child theme. Just these child css load first, not last as they should – so the override effectively fails.

I am having an issue where the gravatar is overlapping the comments on smaller screens ie if the screen is made small or on mobile.
