Avada 3.9 and 3.9.1 giving me problems…no big help from support! Not happy!

That is the new WordPress standard layout. You could only change the contact.php template and manually change the order.

Maybe your server maximum upload size variable needs to be increased. That needs to be done by your hoster.
Alternatively you can upload via FTP.

The woocommerce installation and force translate does not change even half of the language. How do I change the rest from english to a different language? Loco Translate or w.e software does not get me any closer.

Hi Adrian!
Currently they do not from all the demos, however the newer ones (church, gym, modern shop, classic shop, forum and landing product) will come with the images and you are allowed to use them on your site that is using Avada. They cannot be redistributed or sold, but the license allows you to use them on the site you create with Avada. And soon we will make sure all demos comes with all images, currently it is only those new ones.

Avada 3.8 & 3.9 does not work with Wordpress 4.3 and 4.4 – Wordpress 4.4 accepts Avada 3.7

Hmm this is not correct, all of those versions will work with WP 4.3 and 4.4, however if you are on WP 4.4 you should be using Avada 3.9 or higher because of an issue with the blog shortcode.
If those are not working for you, please submit a ticket for us so we can check out what is going on. We along with a huge majority of our customers are on WP 4.3 and 4.4 without issues.

Avada is our favorite theme by far – and then when using WP4.3 & 4.4 we could not load Avada 3.8.8. and Avada 3.9 to WP4.4 at all. (got a ‘are you sure you want to do this?’ error) – we tried on other browsers and computers. Then we tried an older version – Avada 3.7 and everything’s working again. We are working offline. Perhaps it has to do with the PHP version we are using? We’re using 5.5.3

although we uploaded all language files (german) the slogan is still in eglish.
Why? Where can we change that???
The slogan is translated in theme options > sharing box tab. This way when using a multi-lingual plugin, it can be altered per language since each language gets it’s own theme options panel. And many of our customers requested to be able to easily change that.
Hi, I using Avada Version 3.8.8 with Contact Form 7 Version 4.3.1, the Avada alert box is pretty, thank you! But it can not close when click “X” button. This problem confuse me, especially when the alert messages is “Please fill in the required field.” Could you please check it out? Thank you so much!

Great looking theme and would be very interested in changing from my theme to this. But i have 16 questions that i hope you could answer for me, before i make a decision.
1) Swap menus on individual pages (or possible in posts)
- In our current theme, we are able to have unlimited menu’s for any page or post. We need to have 2 seperate menus for 2 seperate pages. This is really important for us – if this option isn’t available for you do you have any suggestions? Plugin?
2) Possibility to embed youtube, vimeo, soundcloud
3) Possibility to upload video / audio for podcast purposes (self-hosted)

1. Yes you can have a custom menu per page or post
2. Yes that is default through WP, we also have a shortcode for each of those services.
3. Self hosted videos are possible through our full width container, fusion slider and rev slider. You can also upload them via WP if needed.

5. Yes through categories, you can pull posts from a specific category.
6. Yes, the base is there, for additional SEO please check out Yoast plugin.
7. Yes it is fast, however most of this is not dependent on the theme, it is about your server and content.
8. You can use the free Contact Form 7 plugin to insert a form on any page and collect emails, if you want something like mailchimp integration you could use the mailchimp plugin. Currently we do not have a built in newsletter item, but the above items can allow you to do it.
9. Yes, view our new forum demo to see this.
10. Yes that is default WP feature
11. Sure, you can add a form to a modal popup.

Hi, I have a question about the “Recent Posts” shortcode. In WP, there is an option to always show a specific post at the top, regardless of the date it was posted. Is there any way that this setting can be reflected when using the Recent Posts shortcode? Basically, I would like to make a page (or section of a page) which displays all posts in chronological order while keeping a specific one at the top.

Currently the recent post element does not have a “sticky” feature for a post to stay at the top. However, this is something we can definitely add and will check into it and make sure it works with the WP sticky feature. Although, I cannot give an ETA for when that will be done, but I will add it to the list

I have an additional question: The Menu Anchors don’t seem to be working properly on IE (I use version 11 but have not tested it on other versions). I have added links to the Menu Anchors in the Main Menu, and when I click on one of them to jump to a specific section of a specific page (that I am not currently on), it just takes me to the top of that specific page. The Menu Anchors only work as Menu Anchors if I am trying to jump to a particular section on the page that I am on. I do not have this problem on Chrome or Firefox. Is there any way to fix this?
