No, we only sell WordPress theme. We don’t have separate HTML template.

How do we update the theme with newer versions considering that we would make some customisations to the theme once we install it.
If you make the customisation inside the theme, then you should use child-theme which is also in the main ZIP archive. After theme update everything will work fine.

You can change the currency in admin panel. Users can only submit a request to sell their car. You will need manually add their vehicles on the website.
But we consider adding the feature for users to publish their cars for sell like classified.
Can this be used for boat sales, ? can all the car options be changed for e.g boat sales. ?

Why can’t I add/edit custom taxonomies to the Listing Categories? Getting this message – edit-tags.php?taxonomy=make&post_type=listings – You are not allowed to manage these items.

Also, what if I want to use more than one category in filter? E.g. i want to change the directory to software review site and want to list different OS for the same game.
To sum it up, the directory has huge potential but needs a few fixes to ensure that it not only serves interests of car dealers but any buyer who wants a nice directory styled site – after 6 years working with WP, I can definitely say that “Motors” has a ton of potential.
The main limitation I came across, is that Listing Category only allows one category to select, which can later on be used in the filtering. But what if I want to list a shop that offers 10 payment options. It would be great if I could create a Listing Category and specify it as custom tags field, which would then populate the data based on comma separated values I added manually or via bulk import.
It’s been a long day but I hope I managed to put my idea across. Hope this fix will come live very soon so that I can finish the idea I had for ages but never had a decent directory with latest filtering trends

1. We have already fixed the issue about custom taxonomies in our end, so a new version with these fixes will be released ASAP. Thank you for your understanding!
2. It’s not possible to modify existing taxonomy slug. You can also see a note about it when creating a taxonomy: Caution, you will not be able to change the slug later.
3. You can enable any taxonomy in the filter by enabling “Use on car filter” option and it displays all its values (categories).

Thank you for detailed follow up, though the third point might need a bit more explanation on my part. What I am trying to say is that current taxonomy setup only allows 1 choice of subcategory inside. Which then allows finding a car by that specific feature. But let’s take a real life example.
Let’s say we want to offer cars that have audio system that plays mp3, wav, aiff files.
With the current system I can create a Category “Supported Audio” and add mp3, wav, aiff files there.
If I go back to listing editor I then can find this newly created category, but can only select 1 subcategory via dropdown menu. This means that I can’t create a record for a car that supports all three audio formats. So that the same car stays in the filter results when someone chooses 2-3 file formats:

Great theme. It’s just missing one thing and if that was there I would buy it. If somebody else wants to sell their car on my website, I’ll need a way for them to submit listing for a fee. If other people can submit their listings on my site then this would be a perfect theme. Are you planing to add a submissions and membership feature?
