Is there a way to updated my salient version? Also, I have uploaded an old version on my Wordpress Account and when I upload the new version It comes up as another template and it forces me to restart all the site development. Is there a way to replace and keep all the work done?

Hey – this zoom mod would require editing the init.js file located in the js folder however the title mod could be handled with css – add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:

Hey, when I am using the element: tabs and insert it with fullwidth portfolios in massonary style…
no tab is initially checked, so nothing is shown except for a large space without anything. How do I set the initial tab that is opened on loading the page?

Small question, just to see if anyone’s encountered this. Oddly, Installing ninja Forms seems to damage Salient Visual Composer.
Here’s what happened:
In any VC element, click the pencil icon. The edit dialog appears at the bottom right of the screen. Install Ninja forms, and now that same edit dialog is stuck below the fold on my screen. It appears as though the css that positions the dialog is damaged, most of the dialog box is lost below the bottom of the screen. Uninstalling Ninja forms does not return VC to it’s original state.
Am I crazy? I’m wondering if anyone has encountered/solved this? I can’t seem to get back to normal VC behavior now.
I’ve discovered a solution, and to clarify this has nearly nothing to do with Salient other than the fact that Salient packs with Visual Composer.
For future users, Ninja Forms and Visual Composer both employ Jquery UI, and both override behaviors in Jquery UI. It seems devs on both teams are aware of this collision, but until a fix is released, I was able to solve the problem using the recommendations in the following thread:

1. Nope! You can use the page builder + theme options to accomplish just about anything
2. You can use video backgrounds which would be self hosted or you could embed vimeo/youtube players or have one of the nectar slider buttons open a lightbox of them
3. Yes – this is a WP theme
4. You’ll need to have WP installed on your server, themes like this can’t be used on wordpress.com – you’ll need to take a look into https://wordpress.org/
5. Yes, all the demos shown are included but most images are not
6. You can use godaddy if desired

I’m using the nectar fullscreen slider on my homepage. For some reason the loading icon doesn’t show up beforehand, and on mobile phones the fullscreen effect no longer works.
I like using the nectar one because it has the grey loading thing when the site is loading, just having some issues.
Can you take a look at it please?

Yes I deactivated all plugins and took off all custom css. It seems the header loads halfway then jumps down on desktop. If you notice when the page is loading the first heading “how it works” appears then jumps down after final load.
On mobile it’s the same way but the header doesn’t jump down. On the ascend demo it loads the full screen slider correctly.
I made a test page which the same full-width slider and it seems to load fully on mobile. https://wapp.guru/test2/
So maybe I just need to recreate the pages or something.
However, the initial loading stage on desktop still shows the content underneath until it finally loads, kinda janky.

Ok I halfway fixed it. Turns out the page header section at the bottom had a white BG color that made it think it was using a page header. So mobile is fine.
I’m still having the issue with the loading though on desktop. On the ascend demo it loads all nice and smooth and doesn’t show any content below. Mine used to do this as well.
Have you also tried to turn the page transitions on in your theme options panel? Make sure the method is set to the default one and not AJAX as well
That is for every page. I’m mainly looking at the fullscreen nectar slider and the strange loading issues associated with it. Just want it to be clean, I’m not sure why the content jumps up and down while loading.

Yes – You can use an img tag with single quotes for the src in the title input

I’ve just uploaded the new theme upgrade on my website, and I’ve noticed a few setbacks since I did that.
This css code you gave me a while back is no longer working as it used to:

How do I get rid of the breadcrumb that is now showing up at the header of my landing pages? (I don’t want people clicking back to the homepage). I want it as it was before… is there another css code for that?
Also, on this particular landing page – http://www.bygfutsocialmedia.com/otoabasi-umonting/, there’s weird black line on the right side, close to the scroll bar. I don’t know what’s going on there. I’ve checked other pages, and it’s not there.
Finally, when trying to edit content within the pages, the Visual Composer popup is no longer popping up as it used to. It goes right to the bottom of the page, and I have to scroll down to edit what I have to edit. Not really ideal to be honest.

1. Could you share the page URL where it’s supposed to be taking effect?
2. You need to turn the breadcrumbs off in your plugin which is setting them (Yoast SEO)
3. I currently am not seeing the black lines on that page – which browser/OS are you on?
4. Make sure you’re using the updated version of Visual Composer included with the latest Salient

1. thanks for the tip; I’ve turned off breadcrumbs from Yoast SEO, and it worked.
2. The black line is only showing on Chrome. I’ve checked Firefox, and it’s not there. So, that may be a browser issue.
3. I’m using the latest version of VC which came prepacked with the latest version of the theme. I don’t understand why the popup box shows up at the bottom. It’s making me scroll all the way to the bottom.
