having trouble with home video with youtube implementation. Is this activated through the REVSLIDER? Because If I do it through the slides tab on wordpress it wont activate like your documentation says

I am wondering if there is a way to remove the ‘Search’ icon from the menu header. I have the Header Layout set to ‘Logo Above Menu’, and i want my menu items to be centered below the logo.
Also, is it possible to have the social media icons appear on all pages? Currently they only show on the home page. Also, on mobile the icons don’t show up at all.

Hi, I am glad that you like the theme.:) Please send a mail to support and I will help you with a child theme related to search icon. The social media icons can be added using visual composer, you have a dedicated element for them. But I can also add them with the child theme for you, it’s a small change to do.

Hi, please make sure you have the latest jamsession-post-types plugin version. Latest tweets is a custom element that comes with the theme functionality. Please update the theme and contained plugins to the latest version. If you need help about the update please send a mail to support@smartwpress.com and I will send you detailed instructions.
How do I know if I have the latest jamsession-post-types plugin version. The author updated my theme a couple weeks ago when I ran into trouble.
I have 2.3.7
The latest plugin version is 2.3.8 and you can see it on Plugins – Installed Plugins.
Its showing 2.3.7 and I updated it and it says it was updated successfully but still shows 2.3.7

Hello, just purchased and trying to familiarize with it, but it seems there’s a problem with the background (the wood one). I can’t change it, both adding a new one in Appearence > Jam Session Theme Setting or in Appereance > Background. I’d also like to know how use a standard #ffffff color intead of an image.
Another question: is it possible to change font via theme ore i have to do it in css?

Hi, the background should be changed from Appearance – JamSession Settings. Also, you have the option to add individual background images for each page or post under the content. Please send(by mail) a user and password for your WordPress and I will check why you cannot apply the background image. You can change the theme font via a child theme.

I’m having trouble transitioning between youtube videos in the Revo Slider on the main page. I have 2 slides set for 10 seconds each in Slider 1, enabled Next Slide at End of Video and 1000ms Slide Delay, and disabled looping, but it just stops at the end of the first video instead. Is this a bug or does it just not work?
Actually I figured it out. I thought the Hero preset would allow me to use multiple slides. It doesn’t!

I was able to figure out the main page slider but i still am unable to add a slider to my other pages like ive wanted to even though ive tried changing the template and adding the slider through backend or even disabling the background image. Is there another way to add a rev slider to each page?
Basically, you can add visual composer elements to any page. To have a full screen slider or full width you must use the Empty Template which was created for this reason. For the rest of the pages you can still add a slider, but it will not go under the menu. Please send a mail to support@smartwpress.com, with details I will take a look.

Hi, I need to translate the plugin “jamsession Post Types” to use italian language in administration side. Using jamsession_post_types.po/mo tranlsated and renamed jamsession_post_types_it_IT.po/mo in directory “wp-content/plugins/jamsession-post-types/languages” not working for me. What’s wrong?

Hey Guys, things are working great thus far. I’m having issues with the video pages – vemeo videos seem to work after testing. When I put youtube url’s in there, I’m getting errors occurring when I hit the play button.

Hi, my events section is not working. I create an event, and it looks good on preview. When I publish however, I just get 404’s after a user clicks on the even on the events page. So the single event page with details is not working.
Hi, please check your permalinks settings and make sure they are set to “post name”. There is a known WordPress problem related to this, for certain permalinks settings it is not able to show single pages for custom post types. Hi there. I really like your theme, however I have some major questions regarding using this for a fan site for a large and famous band (whom I won’t mention).
Since this band has well over 1,500 past concerts dating back nearly 40 years, is there a way to organize/sort the gigs or tours section by “Tour name” and “Tour leg”? For instance, there may be 3 legs in one tour, one for North America, one for Europe and one for South America. In each leg there may be about 30 or so shows or gigs.
So I’d like to sort each tour by name/leg and then when you click the featured image for leg you are then able to select separate dates, shows or gigs. After clicking the show, you can then read a review, setlist, video/audio, etc. on that page. Can something like this be done using your theme, “JamSession”?

Hi, I don’t think is possible to have two themes active in the same time. Instead, you can create a coming soon page in JamSession, based on the coming soon page template. Then set it from theme settings, and it will be visible by all not logged in visitors. In this way, you can build and set up your website while your visitors will see the coming soon page.
