The Woocommerce categories display the products on grid format, one option would be to increase the number of columns displayed which in turns shows smaller product images. Adjust it here -> Theme Options Panel >> Woocommerce >> Woocommerce Archive/Category Number of Product Columns

hi, is it possible in the blog timeline, to show only the year (without month) on the time line in the middle? also, is there a way to use anchors to go to the specific year / post on the time line?

The only way to remove the month would be by customizing that part of the themes code, not something that can explained here in a couple of lines unfortunately. Likewise, creating anchor points would also require customization to implement that

thanks for the answer, but actually it seems like i found ways to do both quite easily – Date display: Theme options -> blog -> “Blog Timeline Date Format – Timeline Labels” custom menu -> i could use the posts IDs to jump to that post on the time line …

I get the same as above ( see report below) . My host provider increased the WP Memory Limit to 256M (confirmed) yet System Status reports its set to 40M only. Do I have to personally edit the wp_config.php file also??
Never done that before and the other settings like PHP Max Input Vars: 1600 (which were also changed by the host to new values) all reflect th true and accurate settings.

We do not always use the highest resolution images or video available for demos, but generally the vast majority of them will definitely be of sufficient quality. Also note, the demo images and video etc cannot be reused, you will have to purchase your own copies -> http://bit.ly/1BKxGCj

Hello there!
I changed the memory_limit from the VPS control panel, it was 128M, i changed it to 256M.
Then i tried to add this line in wp_config.php—> define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
i tried restarting vps after updates
Nothing happened, i still get this notice in system status—>40 MB – We recommend setting memory to at least 128MB.
How we can solve this? What value should i use for avada agency demo import? Thank you!

Thanks for letting us know you have sorted the server configuration. As for the Agency demos plugins, Contact Form 7 is the only 3rd party plugin you need to activate. Fusion Core is required regardless of the demo you install

There is an update for the “revolution slider” that is been used on this template. In order to update the slider I have to enter a license code for the slider, is it the same license as the AVADA template?. If not, where I can find such license code?. You can safely go ahead and dismiss that notice, you do not need an additional license for the Revolution Slider since it is included with the theme.

Without knowing exactly where the news ticker is to be displayed on the website, if it is in the content area of a page and the 3rd party plugin has a shortcode then you can easily add the news ticker shortcode using the Avada Fusion Builder and a code block element

I have imported the Agency demo. On the home page, I’d like to change the background video. When i edit the page, I can see (i think) that it is a fusion slider labeled home page video slider. However, that is not one of the sliders available under the fusion sliders menu. Just trying to figure out how to change out the background on the home page to a different video. Thanks!

You can extend your support via your Themeforest account Dashboard. In terms of what happens once your paid support extension expires, you will still get updates for the Avada theme, that does not change, but will not have access to support.

Hello There..i just bought avada!
I would like to change the theme’s folder name so when someone is seeing the code with ctrl+U to see something else and not ‘themes/avada’ or ‘themes/Avada-Child-Theme’.
Also i want to change the theme’s name as it appears in Appearance > Themes.
Note that i didnt install the theme yet i want to change the name first.
which is the right method to do those 2 things if i want to use the child theme or the main theme?
Is it recommended to use the child theme? Which wordpress version you recommend?

Hello!
You can rename the folder if you want. To change the name in Appearance >Y Theme you will have to edit style.css in the main theme folder. We don’t recommend this, as it makes updates a bit more complicated, but it is possible. Since the child theme references the parent theme, I would recommend doing this in the parent theme directly, as you have to maintain it then only in one place.

Yes in general VC will work with Avada. You will have to turn our builder off though for that, but this can be done via a Theme Option setting on the Advanced tab.

Just to be sure (as it’s quite a lot of work to switch theme). “In general”, what exactly does that mean? Do you have any known issues, any known platforms/plugins, or what it may be, that you know of when it will not work?
So if I turn your builder off and activate my Visual Composer, then I should be able to use that as I normally do in theme, for the content area?
If I have for example woocommerce items in Visual composer, will they have the styling as you have in your theme then? And your other design elements, will they be available too?
Just a little more information about what to expect would be great. I’m thinking very much about to switch, if I’m just sure that Visual composer will work, and that I will get available styling.

In general means, we have numerous customers that use VC with Avada and as of yet no major compatibility issues are reported, and if anything does arise you will need to contact the plugin author regarding this.
As for Woocommerce items in VC, they probably will not be able to use any of the Avada styling, they are 3rd party. In all fairness, we think that once you use the Avada Fusion Builder in place of the VC plugin, you will find that it will suffice and provide you will all the tool you need to build your sites content and layouts

Revslider and also FusionSlider offer a fullscreen option. Both will determine the needed height automatically if you set the fullscreen option.
You can disable any other content for the home page via the Fusion Page Options (control paddings, delete footer content for that page etc.)
