Excellent. Thanks so much. Also, is it possible in the current theme without any customizations to change the placement of the navigation menus. In looking at the 3 demo’s the navigation menus are vertical along the left side of the page. Is it possible in the current theme to move those menus so that they are horizontal and just underneath the header (under the logo) without the need for customizations?

No problem ! Yes, there is an option for that And we’ve been working really hard on it so it looks really good. Just as you said “they are horizontal and just underneath the header (under the logo)”. So it’s a button to push in the Theme Settings, no customization here. You’ll see there is quite a lot of features not available on the demos (we’ll work on that pretty soon), but well good surprise for the customer anyway

Thanks for your interest, Dashboard is powered by a Wordpress widgets. And it’s not suited for widget per user. So Wordpress don’t attach any widget to an user. Thus, for now it’s hard. We’re working on a work around but for now you can have widgets per roles (teacher / student) but not by user.

Thnx for the quick response. One more question (I love theme:-)! Are more roles possible? (configuration) In ou case we have actually three roles/groups. Students/Teachers (school) and a group that only needs the “knowledgebase|”. We call them the practitioners. They do not “attend school”, but they use the knowledge during work as a kind of wiki e.g.

Hi, Congratulations on what looks like a truly phenomenal and ground breaking Wordpress theme! This theme could well set the Gold Standard for themes here on Themeforest. My pre-purchase question is quite simple really. The theme is marketed as multipurpose and primarily as an intranet / business theme but would it work just as well as a magazine style theme using a masonry home page delivering posts and news etc?

My individuals project pages are yielding a 404 Error.

After deactivating Portfolios and adding the code to functions.php, now the single project link forwards to the blog.

1. To be honest, I’ve never tried both plugins BUT for : https://wordpress.org/plugins/cleverness-to-do-list/ that’ll work fine as it doesn’t interact with the frontend side managed by Woffice. For the wpDataTables, that’ll also work fine as the plugin comes with its own style
2. Yes it is. You can select which Buddypress components you want to use and though deactivate the “Friend Connections”, “Internal Messaging”. But you can also change the template behind, it’s really easy to do (we can guide you) do display an error message when it’s not the current user’s profile page. You can also use some plugins for that. But anyway you have several ways to do that.

Well, thanks for your interest in our product !
So we’ve looked up for that when we were building the theme. And we didn’t found any easy way to do that. Because for now, Wordpress is a “website builder” (CMS) so it wasn’t thought as an “APP” (desktop-mobile-tablet…).
Database is the first issue, HTML is the second one… So you can find app to manage your Wordpress site but not really to use it :/
There is still some options available :
But let’s be honest, it’s pretty bad. You’ll lose all the design and features we’ve added.
Our solution, was to create a theme “App-Capable”. When you take a look on modern devices, the browser bar will disappear and you’ll have a better experience with also some Bookmark icons. BUT no push notification :/ Here again, there is some options available : https://wordpress.org/plugins/push-notifications-for-wp/ but not really good…
Good news, Wordpress is evolving in that way. New Wordpress REST Api is coming soon : https://developer.wordpress.com/calypso/
That’ll allow developers to fetch Wordpress’s site data from any device or program. So yes, that’ll be easy

So for now it’s not ready yet.
Sorry if that’s not what you wanted to ear but to sum up, Woffice is awesome on any device in a browser and we make everything we can to make it even better (woffice.io/changelog). But Wordpress tech isn’t for Native apps at this time, but that’ll change

After browsing the demo i have some simple questions. Can you assign more than one and specific user to the tasks? Can you assign tasks for a specific group or you have to manually assign tasks to those specific members every time?

It’s on our roadmap, but for now you can only assign task to an user when you’re editing/creating the task through the frontend or backend. You can also use our widget to display the current tasks for the logged user and send an email to the user whenever a task is assigned

Can user submit directory items or admin only?

No, well it’s your choice. There is an option in the Theme Settings to choose which role(s) can create a directory item from the frontend. So it’s your call here (Same option for the other post types : projects, wiki, blog post…).

Yes and no. No because we never created one. But yes because :
- You can use the directory extension as portfolio (there is almost the same settings).
- We’re using Unyson framework and tis framework as a “Portfolio Extension” that you can use.
- There are a lot of plugins for Portfolio and they’ll work fine with Woffice.
As you see, you’ll have several options for that
