my site takes over 5minutes to load on a mobile… it has all of it’s images optimized with wp smush and it loads very well on a desktop but on ipads and mobiles it takes a very long time if it’s the first time it’s loaded: vimanasjewellery.com

it seems to only happen on an iphone 6, and iphone 6 plus and and ipad air 2 all with latest updates… it doesn’t happen on any other device… any ideas?

I tested on my iPad Air 2 when I went home, there wasn’t any problem at all, even if it would take a lot of time to load then it must be a problem with a plugin and not with the theme, try disabling any third party plugins if there is any installed.

it also pulls up a demo content image in the background of the footer which makes me think that maybe it relates to the demo content…? please see the image here… it’s as though its not connecting to the style file. i’ve found that demo content image which is called: http://themes.laborator.co/aurum/jewelry/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/map.png and it’s linked to in the jewelry store demo-content xml. I’ve deleted this from my media so i’m not sure why it’s still showing… you think this may be linked to my problem?

Have you checked this on other devices cause I have tested this in 3 devices (iPhone 6S) and on our iOS simulator, in many browsers and it appears just fine without any problem, here you have screenshots from Safari and Chrome:

I want to update my WPBakery Visual Composer Plugin from version 4.7.4 to 4.9.1. It is not possible to do this on the plugin page of my site. I found an article on the internet that stated this about updating the plugin:
“This will work only for users who purchased Visual Composer directly, if Visual Composer came integrated in your theme, then ask your theme provider to update Visual Composer.” (https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/display/VC/Update)

WPBakery Visual Composer don’t allow us to give customers our license number, so on each premium plugin such as Visual Composer, Revolution Slider and Layer Slider update we release a new update to our theme with the latest version of that plugin included, and customers don’t need to worry about that,
You never need to buy any premium plugins that comes with our theme
If you want to update your premium plugins to the latest version please update Aurum to the version 2.7 first, and then go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.
If any of theme required plugins has released new update after the date that we released Aurum 2.7, we will include the latest version of that plugin in the next update.

I downloaded the latest 2.7 version but when I tried to install it, it says:
“Destination folder already exists. /var/www/vhosts/54/228071/webspace/siteapps/WordPress-350660/htdocs/wp-content/themes/aurum/”
Is it safe to remove this folder from my FTP server and reïnstall 2.7?

Hi there guys, Aurum is a great theme. Only downside is the contact form is a little limited, and using another plugins like contact 7 ages the theme by 20 years. I really need to capture a phone number, can you tell me how to change the subject field title on the contact form to ‘phone number’ cheers Craig.

Demo content is imported successfully but WordPress makes some changes from default demo site and sometimes misplaces sliders and other stuff, but you can change the slider in the homepage easily, just click Edit Page, in LayerSlider choose homepage slider and it will look the same as in our demo.

Hi! I would like to assign background colors for active categories on the sidebar (on product listing pages) – I’d like there to be a background color for an open category as well as “undercategories”; currently those “undercategories” are shown with an em dash (or maybe it’s a line even longer then em dash, but let’s call it that) whilst categories have en dashes; I would like the em dashes to be removed and the names of undercategories aligned to the left of the uppercategory; I’ve made a visual for this to be more clear here http://postimg.org/image/yy8ziva1z/

Hi,
Today I purchased your theme but I’m facing an issues with pages in Wordpress. The problem is as follows:
1. Install your theme and activate 2. Navigate to page settings in Wordpress 3. An internal 500 error appears with details: an error occured when the website tried to retrieve: http://www.xprss.me/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page
This only happens if I have created pages. When no pages are present this issue does not occur. Also, it does not occur with other themes. The basic Wordpress theme works fine for example.
I already tried reinstalling WP + database without luck. I also tried increase memory limit in the wp_config file. Also, no luck.

Trying to install the Aurum 2.7 update (on my localhost machine) and I get this error when I attempt to go back into the Wordpress dashboard :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function lab_get() in D:\wamp\www\kingstonegems\wp-content\themes\aurum\inc\lib\laborator\laborator-demo-content-importer\laborator_demo_content_importer.php on line 159Not sure if relevant but I have the Advanced Custom Fields Ver 4.4.4 installed.
