Thank you for the information about the Page Header Options within the Theme Options menu! However, it appears that only Slight Zoom Out is working, Slide Down isn’t working properly. Is this a known issue?
Also, when we do get it working, is there a way to make it only apply to specific page types? We’d prefer it to only apply to Portfolio pages and nothing else.

Awesome new update to 7.01!! Very impressed again! There’s a couple things I can’t figure out though…
1. How do I make my contact form as cool as yours in your Corporate Demo?
2. I can’t get the particle effect to work when there’s a background image. In the previous version, I would have a background image, and then the particle effect and words over the image. Now just the image will show up. The only way I can see the particle effect is if there’s no background image.

Try adding this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:
#page-header-bg .canvas-bg {
z-index: 100!important;
}
Also ensure you’re not pasting the pre tags into the box as well

... But I just checked the mobile version, and it’s not there. Should I add anything for it to be included in mobile?
Also, I noticed that with the update to 7, the font on the mobile site seems to just be the default font and doesn’t go by the typography settings.
It seems you placed the snippet inside a media query targeting only desktop, change it to be outside of at and it should work on mobile
Also, to fix your font issue assign a subset to your font i.e. “latin”

‘Recent Posts’ on my homepage used to be 4 snapshots of my last 4 blog posts in a landscape (horizontal) orientation. After updating, they are not vertical. One on top of the other on the left side of the screen. How do I get it back, I can’t find the option.

Ok, fixed that thanks. Not sure why it reverted. I’m having an issue adding a new Portfolio Item now. When I click Save Draft or Publish all my work disappears and I have to start all over. I’ve tried it on several computers on different days with the same results.

Hey Phectar long time!
I updated to the latest version the same way I always have but I was met with a white blank screen when testing the site and have no clue how to fix it. My site just basically isn’t present. Is there something else I should be doing as well for this particular update other than extracting the salient.zip inside of the themes root folder and updating the header.php I’ve even tried to import something from the demo importer but still nothing. I’m also using a child theme.
I created a support ticket as well with my UN and PW in the event that this request goes beyond the scope of this comments board.

Yes I tried that and noticed that was the issue. Something has happened to the child theme but I’m not quite sure mainly because I updated it the same way I have in the past and did nothing different.
in either case, when I updated the theme the screen became white upon testing the front end which is what I normally do before doing anything else.
I have now activated the parent theme and made another child so no worries.

Hey guys. its me again…a lot of people have some problem wit the nectar slider (after updating)...me too but i dont know if its the same problem.
After updating the theme (7.0.1) : (Nectar) Sliders are not workling. I can see the “loading” animation but nothing is happening. All other Pictures (Portfolio etc.) are working/showing fine….

Like the update but I have noticed a few bugs.
I am having issues with the logo showing on mobile devices. http://bizhabitat.wpengine.com/
I am also having issues on the VC when it comes to the new anchor link element. It is a little buggy and when you add a new tab, it leaves the anchor text out.
Also, is there a way to retain the slide out widget feature and have a burger menu on the opposite side on mobile devices.
There is also an issue when trying to add the page sub menu directly under the header on mobile.
I read an earlier comment about trying to re upload/link the logo, which I did, but I still can’t see the logo on mobile

1. Have you tried to upload the logo again (the retina one that would be displaying on mobile)
2. It seems your menu has 3 links with text for each, are you saying it’s only not working correctly for you in the backend?
3. This would take some custom development as of now
4. Add this into the custom css box located in your Salient Options panel:

2. That is correct. I have it situated now but when you go to add a new tab for another anchor link- it was a little dodgy. I had to clone other tabs then edit each of those.
3. & 4. I think I have fixed.

After the update to 7.0.1 the logo in the header in mobile view disappeared . Simulation with the webdeveloper tools of firefox shows the same behavovior.

im kinda lost, i currently updated the template to the latest one, and im having a bug that i cant seem to fix ( now i have to work around it ) any of my pages that have a side blog menu arent showing anymore, i deleted the cell and readded it to the pages and also made sure that the selient setting and cell settings are the same but i cant seem to make it to show.. what am i doing wrong.
also on your agency demo you have your top menu on the side slider ( im trying to do the same but i cant seem to take it out of the normal menu area and only have it on the slide out. heres the website.

I checked and found out It’s a plugin issue… Pro Site from WPMU DEV and informed them about it. While I was exploring this problem I found another thing (bug) on our main site (just the main site). When we activate version 7+ Salient menu disappears from the WP menu
