I sent a ticket (Private Ticket #638161) about issues with my site since the last update. Could you check this please?
It’s about “Header Inherit Row Color” option not working anymore and portfolio itens beeing duplicated everytime the scroll bar gets to bottom of page, multiple times.

Hey – 7.0.2 will sort the header inherit row color issue, it’s been submitted to ThemeForest and will be available for download shortly
as for the the pagination not working on front assigned pages – unfortunately this is a core bug of the latest WordPress https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/35344 it’ll be fixed in the next release though

Hey – that appears to be coming from outside of the theme, are you using the latest version of WP and are you sure you updated correctly with either FTP or the Envato toolkit plugin?
I updated via ftp, think I did it correctly. What do you mean outside of the theme? Where should index.php be? Site root? Thanks.

I’m having some trouble with the theme. I’m using optimize press plugin, which has a live editor to edit the content, and I get a broken design. This seems to be related to salient theme, as I tested with twenty thirteen and other themes and it works fine. I don’t see any js errors however, so I’m thinking it’s some type of conflict. Can you provide any help with this?

Hi again!. I can see Salient 7 is already here.Playing with it I see the slider I was asking for, similar to this http://www.the-boundary.com/i21tl5bviryqtos9zgrcartpntp777 is the image gallery touch enable & spaced?
A few things:
-how could I get rid of the mini bars below to and move in a similar way to the example? Maybe just with one click on the sides or arrows?
-Any css modification to make the white space between photographs smallers?
-There is a way to adjust all photographs to their heights to see them completely like on the example i have linked?

1. You could remove the controls with css and just have it be touch based, but creating arrows would take custom dev
2. Add this into the custom css box:
.nectar-flickity:not(.masonry) .flickity-slider .cell {
margin-right: 1%!important;
}
3. You’d need to upload the images like that or define a size in the image gallery element to crop them at all the same height

Ok, one more question! How do I change the text color of the meta date for posts and the titles of the sidebar widgets?
I figured out how to change the color of widget titles but not the meta data for the blog posts. Also, I cant find how to change the color for the sidebar search button, how do you do that?
Ok, I figured out how to change the color of the submit button. So that leaves me needing to know the following:
1) How do I change the border color of the sidebar search 2) How do I change the color of the hover over sidebar search 3) How do I change the color of the “Search…” placement text

Hi, I’m having a little issue with the left sidebar. In the web version it looks fine, but in the mobile version, the sidebar shows up in first place, so it looks weird.
It looks like this: 1º Sidebar 2º Content
I would like: 1º Content 2º Sidebar

How can I change the link hover color for the body and widgets? I see how to do it for the navigation, but not the body. I’m wanting the blog headers and sidebar and footer links to be a different color when I hover. Right now it is black when I hover. Thanks!

I just updated to version 7 and I’m not seeing a way to use Google Fonts. Is this no longer a feature? I’m pretty sure there was an option in the past to use google fonts. Am I missing something?

1. It seems you already have that occurring on your site – do you still need further help?
2. In the header options tab in the Salient options panel, enter a smaller number for the header padding such as 10 and increase the logo height

and I’m back, is there a specific guidelines on working with video backgrounds ( nectar slider) that works best? file size, rendering, length etc.. ? i tried it but it takes a little bit to load and on windows pc ( chrome ) it just doesn’t load.. nor have the website lol but on a mac it works fine.. ( aside from the 15 second load time of the video.. ) could you please point me to the right guidelines on how on video upload and specs.

You’re supplying the right file types (webm/mp4) and they appear to be compressed to a good size – I am indeed seeing it loading in on PC and Mac with Chrome though, have you also tried running the videos through the converters listed in the user guide?

Hi I was wondering if its possible to add a limited amount of projects to my home page using the 3d portfolio in masonry. As for now i’m not getting it to work properly and it only shows projects if i show all my portfolio items. But that’s just a little to much for the homepage.
