My pagination has stopped working on this page – http://www.nase.org.uk
I have tried updating the theme and it does work again after updating but I lose a lot of important css styling on the rest of the site.
Please advise.

Unfortunately the pagination not working on front assigned pages is a core bug https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/35344 and will be fixed in the next release

I’ll need to investigate more with that since there’s no errors appearing in the browser console – have you tried alternatives such as the video lightbox element (available in v7.0+) to see if it helps?

In the tabbed section when I setup the Gallery in the Nectar slide setting the whole tabbed section becomes blank when the page loads. Is there a way you can solve this? Any other style for the gallery works but the nectar one which I want. If I place a video next to it in a 1/2+1/2 row it works.. I Don’t get why is it doing it.
Also the touch enabled grid style doesn’t load properly just as a thin line pictures..

hey I’m using the ecommerce version of salient, and on my product pages, under my product there is a button that says “buy it now”. At the moment this button is dud as there is no link attached to it. I want this button to have the same effect as the “add to cart” button. How do I do this ?

So i created a child theme, and tried to update the theme using Envato toolkit plugin. Now it says that the “Salient” theme is installed but incomplete, and the stylesheet is missing. When I click on visit site, my website does not show up. Please help
Weird, try simply downloading the theme from ThemeForest again and uploading the salient.zip from appearance > themes in your admin panel. You’ll need to switch to any other theme in order to first delete the current copy of Salient you have before uploading the new

I just built another website with your theme and I am having just a couple of problems. I want to make it so that the map never scrolls – both on desktop and on mobile.
I added a line of code in the Extra Class Name that says: “draggable: false;” – but that doesn’t seem to do the trick. Again, I want the map to be non draggable or zoomable on both desktop, tablet and mobile.
Lastly, on my portfolio, I am not getting the ability to have my images simply pop up like they do in the demo. I have a simple 4 column two row portfolio in a section of my theme, but when I click a picture it does this bizarre thing where it pulls up another window with a thumbnail of the image I wanted to view, and a large black, blank image. I simply want the image to expand and have the ability to click through the portfolio in the order they are listed on the layout, the same way they expand in the demo.

I’m sorry, I’m having a little confusion where to enter that. Where are you referring to when you say in the “Salient Options” panel?
Lastly, I do have the “lightbox only” option active in the portfolio element, but when I click on one of the images, I have an error message appear that says “Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.”
Correction:
I got the css loaded in on the stylesheet and that is now locking correctly.
Could you let me know what the issue might be with the error I get for: “Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.” when trying to expand an image?

Have you ensured that you have a featured image set for these items and not just a custom thumbnail?

Feature Request: Additionally VC header/slogan options.
Lots of the demo text seems to use basic text blocks styled inside the text block elements itself using span class. I feel like we’re pretty limited in this are and usually default to installing “Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer” for this.
I’d be nice to get header/slogan option (title + subtitle) where we can define the position (left/right/center), set the h tag (i.e h2 or h3), choose to have a divider line and set the placement of subtitle/divider line (above or below title).
Love the theme. Keep up the good work!

Hey, tutorials are on the way – but in regards to what you said, the image gallery element would indeed be the way to create a gallery now in VC instead of using the checkbox. The style the old gallery used was “Basic Slider Style”
I am utilizing a one page scroll site for a client that requested it, however since we have a blog section on the one page scroll site with “read more” options for the blog posts to be viewed in full, when they are clicked on it goes to a separate page created for the blog post itself. This is all fine, however on the new blog page the header is then broken, because it utilizes anchor links (#blog) that no longer exist on this new page so none of the navigation links will actually take the viewer back to the correct link.
In theory, if I made the navigation link to www.mysite.com/#blog instead of the link just being #blog it would work on any page, but I tried that and it breaks the sliding motion and causes other loading issues because now it is reloading the site when these are clicked instead of just sliding down to the anchor point.
How can I keep the nice slide motion on the home page when clicking the nav, but ensure that on any other pages (such as blog posts) the navigation doesn’t break entirely?

1. I think this is a CSS bug: a 6 column row with full width content, centered content alignment and column padding doesn’t collapse nicely for < 690px screen width. See e.g. row below page header: http://d7d.be3.myftpupload.com/content/news/

Hi, I bought your template and wanted to make a ‘blocked’ fullscreen layout like you do in your Agency preview. The thing is though… my text doesn’t scale, so on smaller screens the blocks shift around and it looks bad. Can you help me with this? Thanks.

I already figured it out. The only way to make those ‘picture blocks’ truly responsive is when you set them as a column background. This doesn’t work with sliders/etc however. You made one badass theme, but figuring out how to get exactly what you want takes some time… but it’s still a million times quicker than coding everything yourself haha.
And I just used media rules in the custom css to get around the text not scaling properly, so I’m all set.

So I made the update to WooCommerce 2.5 without noticing that you only support up to 2.4. My product pages are pretty screwed up now, just wondering if making a compatible version to 2.5 is coming in the near future for Salient theme purchasers?
I have since reverted back to 2.4.13 for WooCommerce and I still can’t link my product page to my main shop page. Can I get some assistance with this? I’m lost on this one and could really use some help from an expert.
