Hi, I have recently purchased your theme. When I install it initially all works fine, however when I go to install the Plethora plug in it crashes the install. I have checked the php logs on the server and got the following error message:

After this my server simply gives me a 500 error and stops working. I have done the install twice to confirm, second time I installed the required plug-ins one at a time, contacts and visual composer work fine, just this issue occurs with Plethora.

This error indicates that something goes wrong with remote file calls, a functionality that should be working fine since this is a native WP function.

Hi All,
Just a quick update on this. We were advised to use the new theme which didn’t help, same issue, same error. After some reading it seems to be an issue with the plug-in and how it interacts with directory permissions.
I was unable to resolve the actual issue, however if this problem is experienced you can set the website up in a local XAMPP install, then transfer it onto any type of hosting and it works. Just a work around if anyone is having this issue.

Update on this, while it loaded fine, as soon as we started editing colours it theme options it causes it to crash again.

Very nice theme! I just noticed that in your live demo on http://plethorathemes.com/healthflex/, when I quickly hover over the main menu from left to right and back, the blue line from the bottom of the sub-menu layers sometimes stays behind after the layers are gone again – this is probably only a Firefox-issue, I couldn’t reproduce it in Edge and Chrome. Are you aware of this, and can/will you try to fix it?

Yes you can lose the corners by removing the class “folded_section” that is given in the specific section settings by the visual composer. Or you can delete this section. All the sections are flexible and interchangeable. Any questions you may have during development can be answered by our support team.
Is it possible to make specific shapes?

No other specific shapes are given by our settings. You will have to code them yourself if you are quite familiar with CSS. If you have something specific in mind we could consider adding it to a future update. There is no PSD file.

Yes the doctor biographies can be loaded separately, there is a special setting for that. We do not have widgets for the team but custom post types and shortcodes you can use with visual composer.
First, congrats on the design! I particularly like the way you integrated the A-to-Z library, a feature often missing in medical themes.

This is created as a 2-column section with full-height and no slider. Yes, you can add a form in the blue boxes but we don’t offer a ready-made demo for that. I would propose to put there only one or two boxes in that case.

We have some predefined icons ( the ones that you already can see ), but you can customize them as you like. You can use any icon from the pre-installed icon libraries ( Font Awesome, Webfont Medical Icons and Weather Icons ) or you can even upload any other Icon Font you like! You can read more on our documentation pages.
Regarding the page builder, we use Visual Composer which is included in the package ( so you don’t have to buy it extra ).

I finally bought your template but when I install your theme your theme requires me to install ‘WPBakery Visual Composer’ and others. However, when I install and activate ‘WPBakery Visual Composer’, then it makes my site whites out. I haven’t install anything on my site like posts, plugins, and so on. please take a look at this and why it my site whites out. Thank you.
NOTE: I use WOREPRESS 4.4.1 and it’s not ‘WPBkery Visual Composer’ plugin is totally fine, but it’s ‘Plethora Features Library’ plugin. I thought WPBakery causes a problem but Plethora Feaures Library was the problem.

Is there a way to make the ‘NEWS’ (ie Blog Page), have a limit of what is displayed? I have 24 Posts and it is one LOOOOOONG Scroll to view them all… Was curious if there was a simple script or compatible plugin that would make it limited and then remainder would be a page button or boxes with numbers or just numbers… so the END USER does NOT get frustrated with the page length? (This would suck on a mobile phone).... Let me know… Thanks

You have 2 options for this:- To change the number of posts displayed on your blog page. This is a native WP functionality
- Choose to display an excerpt, not the whole content of each article displayed. This is a HealthFlex functionality…so, go to your Theme Options > Content > Blog > Blog Listings Options tab, and click Display Excerpt on the ‘Content/Excerpt Display’ option

A correction!
Portfolio function has been removed from this version but will be included in one of our forthcoming updates, as far as retina performance, you can use higher PPI images or double-sized images but we don’t have any special setting to serve different images on retina devices if that is what you mean.

Retina support is a complicated matter and has many ways to accomplish it. For example, in the documentation of the theme you are referring to, at the logo section, we see that they use the same method as we do. Let’s say that you want your logo dimensions to be 100×50 pixels. You upload it with 200×100 pixels dimensions and you set its dimensions to be 100×50 from your settings. That way your logo will show sharp in retina monitors.
Also we offer Font-Icon libraries to display your Icons which is a way to accomplish sharp hi-def icons on retina monitors too.
So, yes, we incorporate ways to support retina displays.

HealthFlex comes with 3 built-in font icon libraries: Font Awesome, WebFont Medical Icons and Weather Icons. Those libraries can be activated / deactivated according to your needs…why loading elements that you don’t actually use!
Apart from this, you can add your own font icons, using our Font Icons Library tool. In example, you may:- Download your favorite font icon OR use a font icon service, like Fontello to produce an icon set that fits exactly to your needs
- Upload it to your site using our font icon libraries tool
- ...and voila, you have all your favorite icons available to use with any shortcode, widget that provides icon display
Regarding the updates, for all our newly launched themes, we launch frequent updates ( in example, the HealthFlex 1.1 will be launched until 26/01/2016 ). As far as the portfolio feature is concerned, we will possibly have it on 1.3 and after update…stay tuned!

We apologize for this. Apparently your are trying to install the theme on an installation that uses PHP 5.2 version or older. Even if WP itself is still functional with PHP 5.2 server stacks, there is a direction to abandon 5.2 support since it is considered far from obsolete.
We strongly advise you for security purposes and overall performance ( better memory usage, faster page loading times, etc. ) to switch to PHP 5.3 or newest.
On our next update we will add a workaround that will produce a notice for installations running under PHP 5.2 in order to avoid similar annoying errors.
