I bought this theme this week, but I’m with this problem!
Its theme (Aurum) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may require updating to ensure its compatibility with the current version of WooCommerce. You can check which files have been affected in the system status page. If in doubt, check with the theme author.

You are using an old version of our theme (2.6) and the latest version for the moment is (2.8), please update theme first.

Many thanks! Unfortunately it did not change anything. I tried various other numbers, like -500, 500, etc for the margin, and the distance between the layer slider and the image carousel stayed the same.
I think I got it by adding: margin-bottom: -100px; z-index: -5000 !important; to the layer slider’s custom css options.

Does this happen when you switch the theme for example twenty series theme?
If so, the issue is at WooCommerce, and I suggest you to contact WooCommerce developers about this, it might be their issue. Otherwise I will need FTP credentials to find the issue if its only happening in our theme.

When the update it’s ready you will receive an email if you have enabled “Get notified by email if this item is updated” from your Downloads tab.
Then you can update your theme through Envato Toolkit Plugin (learn how)

I’m trying to modify menu colors with custom css and I need help. I have changed background color to black in theme custom colours and I notice that when I hover an element of the menu wich has childs (submenus) when I go to another menu item with the mouse, It turns background to white for few seconds before it gets the right colour (black). It happens only with menu items with submenus, not with menu item which has no submenus. ¿Why is this happening?

Another issue, compare to the demo, despite enabling all the settings for single product there is the add to cart missing and product number selected which is annoying as you cannot order.

Hi, I have a serious problem with the theme. my site www.drmsiterco.com just went blank and crash, when i contact my hosting, they claim thatthe problem is the theme that is eating up the memories. may i know how do i solve this problem ? when i go to login page, i state Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10240 bytes) in /home/drmister/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/wc-template-functions.php on line 1809

This might be an issue with PHP limits, so we recommend at least 64M memory_size value.
Can you please contact your hosting provider, and ask them to increase memory limit to:
memory_limit = 128M
And see if that fixes your site.
Theme itself doesn’t consume memory, it only parses styles and content, it might be an issue of a specific plugin so make sure you to disable plugins and see the performance of site.
I hope your hosting provider will increase memory limit.

hi when a user tries to send a message through the contact form the admin does not receive an email unless I leave the ‘email notification’ section blank meaning it goes to the admin email by default. I don’t want it to go to the admin email…please can this be fixed? I have been looking back on previous comments – to save you the time going to our site and checking, yes we have updated to Woocommerce 2.5 – I notice that some customers had issues when reloading previous versions so I guess my question now is “How long until the WooCommerce 2.5 compatible theme update is available?” this will determine whether I take the risk and return to the previous WC, go into Maintenance Mode or leave it and wait – either way, we are losing money so the name of the game at the moment is damage minimisation. Eagerly anticipating a response . Cheers

We are really sorry for that, but this is like cat and mouse game, because themes need to constantly update when they depended from the Wordpress and WooCommerce.
When those plugins made core changes, we need to adapt to make our themes compatible with their changes and support their improvements to include them on our theme too.
The best way to prevent this is to not update those 2 plugins until we release a new update that fully supports them.
As you see we are constantly updating our theme, and this thing is very rare to the theme authors, because a lot of the authors don’t give support and updates after 6 months of that theme debut.

Hi Ylli – thankyou. I had already read that same reply to another customer. I was hoping to get a rough idea of timing so that I can calculate the scenario that presents the lowest loss of income. I appreciate that you are unable to commit to a ballpark timeframe – it is what it is. However if I was able to assume that we are looking at either several days or a week or more, that would be all the information I need to make the decision on how to proceed. If you could provide an indication of this nature it would be greatly appreciated.
[some sideline commentary;] your suggestion to not update WP or WC until a compatible theme is available gave me an idea – would it be possible to have a theme “watch” key plugins and WP for update notifications then automatically append these notifications with a warning such as “To prevent issues that may cause conflicts with the theme, Laborator recommend waiting to update this item until we release a new update that fully supports the new version.”?
It seems to me that it is not common knowledge that certain plugins and WP itself shouldn’t be updated until the compatible theme update is available. I have not seen this in any documentation although I do appreciate that most people wouldn’t install a plugin or buy a theme that was not compatible with their current version of WP (hence the compatibility warnings). However, this goes against everything we are recommended to do by the likes of Wordpress and Woocommerce because updates are so often security-driven. Given the several big security breaches in major plugins and Wordpress itself that we experienced last year, it’s hard not to resist clicking that update button. Just my thoughts [end commentary]

No – I have never seen this warning! That is exactly the kind of thing I had in mind. Maybe there is a setting to show those warnings?? All I have seen is a recommendation to perform backups before running updates. Anyway, I know now. Were you able to give a rough indication of timing on the new update or is it too early to tell? It’s ok now – I fixed it. Envato Toolkit was not updating so I deleted the parent version of the theme and re-uploaded the core theme files via ftp – this enabled envato toolkit plugin to reinstall correctly, along with other key plugins and of course the correct theme version – all seems ok now. thanks

Just one minor problem with the thumbnails displaying in the footer widgets: Recently Viewed, Shopping Cart, Featured – this is probably my own fault as I reset the thumbnail dimensions earlier on and stupidly did not keep a copy of the original sizes – can you please advise the default sizes? sorry – won’t make that mistake again! many thanks… ref: ivyrosestyle.com

After installing any of the demos the checkout page always looks like this. Even after using the editor to remove and re add the woocommerce checkout object. The particular issue is the text on the right side, it looks like this on all devices and breaks the re sizing of the website to fit screen sizes.

i wrote allready a few days ago – i am using your template for this site: mobime.at – all is in german (woogermanized) exept “VAT” and “add to cart” still in english – where can i change this to germen? need your urgent help as the site in oline allready and our customers are allready very unhappy!

We are going to release new update that will contain latest theme strings which are translate ready for WC 2.5.
However can you tell me the screenshots where these strings are not being translated, so I can give you a quickfix for now.
Also use Loco Translate if you are not using it already.
If you don’t have this plugin, please install and activate it in your WordPress site.
1. Then go to Loco Translate > Manage Translations
2. Click “New Language” for the current active theme (if you didn’t created it yet, otherwise ignore this step). On the new language page, choose these options – click here http://d.pr/i/1ewoc
3. After that you will be redirected to the editing screen for theme translations. Before you continue make sure this is true – click here http://d.pr/i/18h0w
4. Follow these instructions to learn how to translate strings – http://d.pr/i/1jsek
5. The changes will be applied immediately – http://d.pr/i/1ju6w
Note: Translation files will be saved to wp-content/themes/{theme-name}/languages folder. Here you have the explanation – http://d.pr/i/1lBCJ
After you make your changes, always save a backup of languages/ folder (inside the theme) when there is new theme update. After you update the theme (languages folder will be replaced), just move the backup files you previously saved to the same languages directory and your changes will still be applied.

I’ve searched all theme files and I didn’t find any “incl. 20% VAT” string. Make sure that is configured inside WooCommerce > Settings page, or if you are using any WC plugin make sure to check it there.

Go to the website – mobime.at – scroll down to the bottom of the home-page – finde “bestsellers” und under the picture of the items there is “incl. 20% VAT” written … i thing you should be able to tell me where this is coming from.

Hi, I have the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliate plugin, and in the product data tab, it is pulling the wrong url. I need it to pull my affiliate link, not the cloaked link as the product url. Does this have anything to do with the theme?

I am not sure if this has to do something with our theme. I would suggest you to contact plugin developers and tell about this issue. If they redirect you here, can you please ask them what our theme is doing to replace the link?
Usually third party plugins that are not written in the “Supported Plugins” list are not handled by our theme at all, and the chance for this to happen from our theme is small.
