On this page, https://theme-fusion.com/avada-doc/demo-content-info/alternate-demo-method/ your developers should mention that any downloaded demo files should be renamed to .wpress extension, where IE for examples saves as .htm by default. Otherwise, the files do not work with All-in-One WP Migration. Thanks.

You most likely have settings in IE that automatically rename files. The files don’t have to be renamed to anything, what you download has the right extension. Please check and tweak your IE settings if need be and allow the downloading all files the way they are or, try by right-clicking the links and hit “save link as”.

Hi, does the image rollover feature works for regular images (not referring portfolio images)?
Also, is there a way to disable certain portfolio images from having the rollover? As I do not want all my portfolio images to have the rollover features.

To answer your questions:
1 – For a stand alone image, when for example using the image frame shortcode, right now there is no option to nebula the image roller effect unfortunately. I have checked and this is an item that our development team will be addressing in future
2 – Unfortunately not, it is either disabled/enabled globally, not per portfolio image

Thanks for the interest! We’ve not tested that ourselves so cannot guarantee it, however it should be fine. If an issue does arise, we ask that you contact the plugin developer to see if it is a known issue with themes and if there is a resolution. And you can post on our support forum with any details and we can check it out and see if we can resolve it. A majority of the time it is something minor that can be changed.

Optima Express gives this advice “Themes that do not set jQuery to use NoConflict can interfere with some functionality in Optima Express, so this is definitely something to look out for when selecting themes.” Is Avada compatible in this regard?

In general Avada uses jQuery as keyword, rather than $, so explicitly setting of noConflict isn’t really needed, as that mode does nothing else but releasing the $ sign . Although by that statement alone from the plugin vendor doesn’t guarantee full compatibility. A short test didn’t bring up any issue however.

how do you make this in the header: menu [menu] I want to add a big logo that overflows the menu area. is it available on this theme?

Hmm this depends on what you have in mind for overflowing the menu area. You can upload a logo as large as you want and it can take the full width of the header area, your menu will fall to a second line.

Is there any way I can force in Avada 3.9.3 a Mobile Landscape orientation when a site is viewed in mobile?
I have a client BeatriceRow.com who designed their website with no consideration for mobile. So it looks terrible in Mobile Portrait mode.
Luckily it’s not too bad in Landscape in a Mobile device. There are actually people who do not know enough to manually rotate phone to Landscape.
Also some phones are “locked” to not rotate.

Hmm there is nothing that can be done to force it always in landscape mode that we know of. But the layout should be able to be adjusted to accomodate both portrait and landscape views.

Is the theme php7 ready?

We have as of yet not 100% tested Avada against PHP 7 so can’t guarantee perfect compatibility. I will suggest holding off on updating to PHP 7 for the moment. Hi,
Small question : I created a custom post type and copied the contents of single.php in single-product.php. All works well except for the sidebar support.
Is there a filter to use to activate the left and rights sidebar like for the single posts ?

I always send feedback to companies because it helps them improve: This is something I just noticed, and it will be good for your potential customers if you fix it. When I checked for the first time years ago the Avada theme, what made me want to purchase it was the too many page options and possibilities of the theme. On the current demo you have, one detail prevents potential customers from viewing all your demo pages which are many. What is causing that? Your menu now on the demo is accordion style: the little wheel symbol on the right upper corner that shows the boxed-wide layout options and the Avada demos covers the little arrow of the menu that opens all the page options. The row of that menu item (pages) is not clickable on the word pages, but only on the arrow at the very right. When one sees for the first time the Avada theme cannot see the many page options because the wheel symbol covers that arrow, and that may affect their purchase. Just to know…

From what you are saying you are referring to the flyout side panel -> http://d.pr/i/1hhoU ? It is mean to be open by default to show people the available demos they can view among other things and it can be closed by clicking on the gear icon

Yes, I am referring to that flyout side panel, but what I see is different, and I have not made any changes in my desk top computer and screen for years now. Just from a day and after the Avada theme shows up with no regular menu, but with push button menu (that one activated for mobile devices. With that menu there is the problem I mentioned that prevents people from viewing all the page different demo options. The problem is caused when that panel is closed because the wheel symbol covers the page arrow that opens the page options… Just check it. If I am the only who sees that different picture, it is fine. I’m not using any tool at the time to be able to send you a screenshot

Hmm we are not seeing that and have not had reports of it. But I’m still not sure we understand exactly
To clarify there is a normal menu to navigate the current demo you are on, then a side panel to navigate different demos.

Oh you are referring to when the site is in mobile view?
What size screen are you viewing this on? That is probably what is different. 1100px or less and the mobile menu will show which is just an icon used to activate the menu. I do see the side panel gear icon covers that up. I’ll see what we can do to adjust that for the demo.

1 – Are you referring to wordpress.com? If yes, they do not allow the installation of external WordPress themes other than what they offer.
2 – This is what we would suggest. We literally have tens of thousands of customers that are hosted on anything from a shared host to a dedicated server. If you already have a hosting plan with a reputable hosting provider, go with that
