Particle Canvas: There is something I do not get. I saw your demo page and there is particle image is responsive, the title and subtitle never overlay the particle image but I can not see how to set this up like that. I use an image 500×500px for the particle and I typed in title and subtitle but it is overlaying the particle image depending on the hight of the viewport. How can I get the setup that I see on your demo page?
fixed. I think it was because I did not leave any space around the logo. Now I did and it works much better.

There are still issues for me. I have created this ticket #662302, maybe you can check this. In addition to what I wrote in the ticket, I still see that the particle logo goes behind the title and subtitle. It depends on what type of header you use and on viewport size. When I used 3D flip, it went mostly behind the text. maybe you can check that out, too?
Hi, on Salient -> Demo importer, I imported 2 demos, but don’t know how to set up the new demo theme? The current is Clean-All-Purpose and the desired one is Corporate. How do I need to load Corporate theme?
Hey – now you have both sets of pages but your theme options are from the corporate demo, you could either delete the pages from the first one you imported or just delete all (and from the trash) and reimport the desired demo to simply it
Ok I noticed that there are too much Pages but still I can’t find the right homepage to start from. Anyway, I’m stuck with the transparent header, I set it up to be transparent via the Salient theme settings, I save all, refresh page and then I see the same header as before. I tried to change settings to few other things via Salient settings but seems that none of those works. Dunno what’s the problem.
Other question: I want to put events as portfolio items, then add multiple pictures to them, categorize and then show portfolio items on the homepage, so if you click on portfolio thumbnail, you get popup with the portfolio gallery. I already find out everything, except how to add pictures to portfolios so that they would work as Gallery. Thanks a lot in advance for pointing me.

2. As of now you can’t have different galleries for each project in a lightbox – if you wanted a gallery of images it would need to be done on the single project page as the lightbox functionality for the portfolio creates a gallery made of all the projects
Any plans to integrate with the envato toolkit? I have 3 instances of this theme installed and it’s quite the pain to update them all with every release. Would love to do it via Envato Toolkit Plugin.

There seems to be a bug that came in with 7.0 and hasn’t been resolved since.
On the portfolio, there are now random gaps between the image tiles.

No, I can’t. But on this pc I don’t have problems on other websites. Only when trying to go on your blog pages. With and without the Themefores Frame on the top. I tried it again… still the same issue…

Just tried on another PC. Try to open the link http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ecommerce/blog-masonry-fullwidth/, then click on SHOP and after the page has been opened go back to BLOG. On this new PC (IE11 on W10) the site crashes 
I was on W7 – i’ll check on 10 to see if I can narrow the issue down

Great theme!
1) Page Transition: I built my site with a black background. When changing sites (for example: clicking on a portfolio item) the page goes white, the transition effect (loading circle) comes in and after loading the page turns black again. This isn’t very elegant. I would like to get rid of any white in between pages. My current setting for Animated Page transitions is ON and standard. Turning it to AJAX doesn’t help. Turning it off results in loosing the load circle and getting a white flash for some milliseconds depending on the browser. How can I loose the white and keep it black in between pages?
2) Typography: The size for H3-Typography changes automatically when the browser window gets smaller. This results in the H3-typography being smaller than the regular body font. How can I have H3-Typo always bigger than the regular body font?
3) Video Hight: The aspect ratio of a video on a single portfolio project page isn’t 16:9, so I put in an number (364) as Video Hight. The Video itself looks fine, but there is a big gap between Portfolio Navigation over the video and the video itself. I want the Navigation to be just over the video. On all the other single page portfolio projects with 16:9 video items, this works fine.

i’m still on v 3.0 that is because i had made some changes to the code back then and didn’t have the time to do them again now i want to update the theme but i can’t remember what the changes were so i need the files of 3.0 to know what i did back then and do them again in the new version
Unless you tracked those changes yourself unfortunately there’s no simple way for me to tell you – when modding files it’s always best practice to ensure a child theme is used whenever possible so you’ll know which files have mods

Latest update seems to screw up the admin section. I’ve tried installing it several times and I get a ‘Fatal Error’ message.

I updated the theme to the newest version and I have a problem with the Necatr slider. On home page, and other pages it does not show properly. The image is visible but above the slider, and the slider which should show the imahe is in black. what is happening? also the portfolio image that should be seen just under the slider on home page, does not show at all.

presale question as i have already bought a theme that turned out the be a waste of money. I am building a website for a collective of businesses. It’s a group of Vets, Pet Pensions, A pet ambulance etc. The landingpage has to show about 6 categories (Vets, Ambulance, Pensions, Shelters, Training and Friends). I already made Icons for them but a photo with a categoryname underneath would also be ok. People have to be able to choose a category straight away and this will send them to an underlying page showing one or more businesses. It’s a bit like a directory or listing idea but without the search bar. Just showing only the categories to choose from. Is that possible? I tried building it using Listable theme as they have a category feature on the first page but it turns out the searchbar cannot easily be removed and the categories cannot easily be turned into a main feature.

You can use a portfolio element to create the links to your sub pages where you have your content – the styles you’ll be able to use for this are any of the portfolio styles shown on the demos

Hi tx for youre response my version of VC is “Version: 4.9.2” (when i look in extension the VC is up to date, no upgrade available and i don’t see in appearance>install plugins, the Salient VC installation because its already installed) and i installed the skin buyed by my client 6 day ago. Have you do a update ? (where can i see the version of the salient skin i have ?)
All working good before the update yesterday of WP 4.2.2 fr to wp 4.2.3 fr now only the pie chart doenst work, i test all other feature and no problem.

I Unsinstall and resinstall VC extension and always the same bug the pie chart dont work and all other is working …
No idéa.

Is there any way of displaying the portfolio categories in the header – much like the way that the Blog shows the categories? I’m familiar with tweaking PHP files but could do with some guidance on where and what I should be placing within functions.php to allow this.

Hey – I mean to show the portfolio categories assigned to each portfolio item. So when you assign ‘video’ to a blog for example it shows that category in the header image above the title. Is there a way of displaying the portfolio categories in the portfolio pages in the same way?
Seems strange to offer this functionality for blogs but not for portfolio – unless I’m missing something?
