Hello,
I am rebuilding the template of my portfolio, and I can not figure out an issue on my own. I would want to have in the front a combination of two templates: the horizontal slide in the front page as from this one http://pirenko-themes.com/pulse-biz/ and the masonry portfolio as shown here http://pirenko-themes.com/pulse/main-portfolio-masonry/ that appears on the same front page under the slide.
How it can be achieved?

After performing the one-click install you can go and edit the business page. Change the page template on the right side to a portfolio page (this will make the portfolio entries appear after the content). Then you can remove the parts of the page content that you don’t need.

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I tried doing that, but as soon as I change the pages template to portfolio on the right side, the horizontal slideshow disappears.
That is because the business page has a featured slider option active under the page content. Maybe it is easier if you use the original business page and add a latest portfolio page element to the page content.

Hi Pirenko! I’ve bought your theme, a really nice one. And now I have a question. When I create a portfolio page template, the title doesn’t show. Also, if I add some text or some other row on the top, everything is under the menu and it doesn’t appear. Is like there is some top margin or padding missed. I don’t know why. Made it works, had to upload child repertory, some changes had been made in files making some fonctionality failing.

Hi I have a problem with Theme Options after moving the site with Duplicator plugin (before it was OK). It looks like this:

I have already tried to upload “clean” Pulse installation (I’m using child theme) but it doesn’t help. I have also problem with top menu in blog section (it shows under first news), but I think it can be fixed with theme option working properly Everything else works fine.

I need to make a small change I can’t figure out. I made a custom menu in a footer widget and all the links have double arrow styled bulletpoints before them (like the ones in the documentation).
This is cool, but I need a folder icon instead.
Is there a way to change those?

Hi, after disabling some items on the blog section in the options panel, there are big gaps in between the visible sections. Is there any way to eliminate or reduce the gap. See example here…(between the share links and author, as well as between the author and comment section)

Hi, Just bought pulse theme and love it. New to wp and webdesign i’m facing a problem i can’t solve. Here my url : http://catherinedassonville.fr/ In the pages there is a blank space at the end of pages. This blank space is around 20px. You can see this space in pages: “page de test jb” just after the slide and “a propos” just at the end of the text. I can’t find out how to delete this blank space. Thanks for help

Thank you for purchasing! When you create pages without using Visual Composer the theme adds some space under the content. If you don’t want to use Visual Composer to build the page content and remove that space please add this under Theme Options>Custom Scripts>Custom CSS:#s_sec_inner>.clearfix.bt_4x {display:none;}

also when updated VC plugins page was no longer available
Seems if the user has the visual editor disabled it causes the error; however, i prefer not to have the VE enabled particularly when using VC will post if i discover a solution

visual composer does not rely on VE – I turn it off on the dozens of other blogs I work on with no problem – you’re theme options rely on it and make an incorrect call
There seems to be some confusion here. First, Visual Composer does not rely on VE anymore (but on older versions it was required). My mistake here and apologies for that.
This said, I just tested these settings and I don’t have any trouble with the Pulse theme and Visual Composer when VE is OFF. What is the problem exactly? What steps should I follow to replicate this error?
perhaps there is a miscommunication – disabling the wysiwyg editor causes the error
That is what I did (under Users>Your Profile>Disable the visual editor when writing). Isn’t this what you are saying?

I’m trying to get a ‘ultimate addon — modal box’ working and nothing seems to work. I have tried using ultimate addon — modal box and the theme developers just told me to contact the plugin developer who told me to contact the theme developer. A bit stuck here, not really sure what to do.
Specifically when I click the modal boxes image nothing happens in ” open project portfolio page ”, no error or anything just… nothing happens. but plugin does work when portfolio item open another a page.

Do I have the option to have the portfolio with 3 sections and in each a masonry grid?
Like 3 portfoliosectioncs – Fashion, Wedding, Business – and inside the grid with the pictures that opens with the lightbox. This would be great for a photographer.

Hi! Great Pulse theme, however I’m discovering issues with the shop-part, giving me trouble to set it up right. It’s all fine with the standart features but there is a compatibility issue showing up with the 2.4.0 version you provided. The system wants to update the content-product.php to 2.5.0 Version of WooCommerce.
To check if the shop is running , I’ve testet it with standart themes provided within WP and it works fine. I’ve enabled & tested pulse theme and recieved a bug. It’s not possible using or accessing the cart. I know it works in your demo, it doesn’t if there is a fresh install with latest version of WooCommerce and latest WP . I really would appriciate some help to fix this issue, as the shopintegration was main reason for purchase. Thanks a lot in advance, all best, Marco

Yes I have troube on front end, the whole issue seems to be frontend related. Clicking the Products sometimes leads to startpage instead, sometimes it works fine and i can add the product to the card. But there is no way clicking that card button to display (there is the button that doesn’t work, instead the text gets the clickbox). I’m pretty sure there is something messed up since the standart theme doesn’t have the trouble. When to expect the next update? It’s kinda urgent problem here and this need to be fixed asap. thx in advance.
Hum… That situation does not seem to be related with the theme. You say that it does not happen always and maybe when you tried with the default WordPress Theme it did not happen.
We suggest that you send us a private message with the WP login details so that we can analyze the content. That situation should be related with some sort of caching system, permalink system or a wrong .htaccess configuration.
If you want to remove that warning you can send us a private message and we’ll send you a quick fix.
