I would like to know what is your opinion about having the landing page as homepage of the site in terms of SEO. Is it true that this kind of pages in the homepage are penalized by Google and other search engines?

The things is that we are not SEO experts, but its better to have the landing page as a landing page, not a home one.
I see. What happens is that in your demo site the homepage is an intro kind of page and it looks great but if you suggest me not to use it for SEO reasons I will get rid of it.
This person who suggested me not to use it, defends that Google and other search engines don´t like a homepage where there is no menu accesible so maybe he is right and I should get rid of that intro that you also use in the demo site.
What do you think about it?
Its just a part of the theme, if you do not wish to use it, its up to you. But we have the customer who still use that intro.
Hello, There is a problem caused by GT3 Page Builder. I can’t reposition other boxes using drag and drop at the edit post screen. When deactivating GT3 Page Builder I can drag and drop boxes. Please fix it. Thanks

I tested the widget. You can navigate through the dates to see the published posts. Note, it is integrated only with the Blog posts.

Its possible, but it won’t be a fullscreen, there will blank spaces on the sides.

The thing is that Vimeo can be resized proportionally only. You may have those spaces on some screen resolutions, that’s why we resize the video to make it fullscreen.
what about just putting a single play button in the center? this would allow me to force the user to play only when he/she wanted to. would i be able to do this with some customization?

Hello! There is no required functionality in the theme. If you are familiar with the development, you can make any custom changes you want.

This is not possible with the theme, I mentioned this info before. You can’t just replace the icon with another one to display the info on facebook. You need to customize the portfolio post and template code.

I just purchased this theme today and am in the process of setting up my image galleries and other pages. I just had a couple questions for you about that!
1. For several of the galleries I’m creating when I insert my images and then view the gallery the images are not there, BUT if I click on the screen it will pull up the .jpg link for my images. Do you know what’s going on here?
2. Is there a way to use the grid layout as well as add a short statement about the photos in the gallery? I’ve tried just creating a page with the photos embedded but they do not always stay in the grid layout. Any advice?
3. For some reason my blog posts are not populating on my blog page. I’d like to set up a blog using the Simple Blog theme but only have the option for Full Screen Blog. What do I need to do to get the blog working properly?

Hi there, great theme! When I change the logo to something I created, it leaves a grey border around the logo I uploaded, and thus makes the top menu bar a lot thicker. How can I avoid this? thanks!

First off nice theme. I love the way it looks. Second, I appreciate the help with getting the pic thumbnails resized but I need to know if there is a fix for getting the website to work on Android phones. Maybe an update to soundmanager2? I looked through the code and it seems that there was a fix attempted but it doesnt seem to work on my Galaxy s6. Works fine on iOS though.

is there a possibilty to deactivate the gallery option when clicking on a picture. I would like to use the Fancy Lightbox Feature when users click a picture. After I installed it I now have the problem that two seperate boxes pop up when I click on a picture that is included in a gallery and shared p.e. in a portfolio or blog post.

http://saronduchardt.de/portfolio/lenaGallery is set to Mansonary Style (what should not have an affect on this issue), it is integrated on a portfolio website with the GT3 Page Builder. The URL above is one of many Portfolios on my homepage. On this portfolio page the gallery is set to rectangle previews and 1 pic per row.
So when I click an image to lightboxes pop up, the Fancy Lightbox and the “soho lightbox” below. If you close the fancy lightbox you can see the picture a second time. Reason for me using the Fancy Lightbox Plugin is that it shows the picture a lot bigger and that navigation is included in the picture and not below the picture.

Hello again, I’m so sad for bothering you, but I’ve noticed one small issue with post titles fonts, which may be critical for users with cyrillic font packs (such as me). Post title in Simple Style don’t show several cyrillic russian letters (“?” for example) which are very important. I’ve tried different font packs with different options, but nothing changed. In single post, blog fullwidth, recommended posts and posts widget everything is ok, so I came to conclusion that it’s only simple blog post title issue. Any suggestions?
Hello! What font parameters did you set? Did you add &subset=latin,cyrillic?
Yes, I’ve added it. This letters began to appear when I change H4 font size from default 16px to 25+px, but it’s too huge. I think that the problem is in forced capitalisation of titles, but I’m not sure. If I select title with cursor and copy-paste it somewhere else – everything displays normal. So I think that the problem is in title container… I’m not famillar with coding, can’t explain better, sorry.

I’ve tried to change H4 font size from 16px to lower – and all letters appearing to be cut off from the top. So I think that there’s a some kind of a container based on 16×16px dimensions of a rectangle which forces to cut letters from the top. That’s why taller special letters in cyrillic fonts don’t appearing. They have elements, that bigger than that container.
We need to see the issue on your end. What container are you talking about? There are a lot text containers in the theme.

When I create blog page with simple post types (not fullscreen with auto-load) there’s a pagination numbers at the bottom of the page. I have a lot of posts and there’s a lot of numbers in a row. Is it possible somehow to set amount of pagination numbers? For example, I have 10 pages with posts and it looks like 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. I want it to look like 1,2,3…10.
If you want to apply this pagination structure, it requires custom changes in the theme code.
Is it possible to apply this option in further updates? I’m afraid, that pagination from my 300+ posts in drafts will break theme design even with 10-20 posts per page

Hi, Im trying to set up two different portfolios on two different screens. I figure the way to do this is to have one portfolio list the categories 1,2,3,4 ; and the next portfolio list the categories 5,6,7.
This seems fine, but the portfolio always displays a List All option, even when I dont have it selected.
Any ideas why this might be?

1. I would like the full slider galleries to work on touch with both tablets and mobile phones. You mentioned in another comment it would be added to tablets about 10mths ago. When I try to swipe the images on my ipad in the galleries, they don’t swipe. I can only use the button controls which is hard sometimes and not as intuitive as swiping.
2. What are all the template options for regular content pages? Meaning when I go to build a new page with some regular content, what template options can I choose on the right hand side in wordpress.
3. Can any of the different galleries be inserted on a regular content page? The demo shows all the galleries as their own pages. If not, is this where I should use portfolio type so I can have more content with images?
