Pre-purchase question I want to built restrict access or sort of user section, so only logged in users can access forum and part of documentation etc. For this subpages I would like to create secondary navigation menu, only for logged in users. Is that possible? to have two nav?
This feature is yet not available but the new version will have access control only for the documentation.

Pre-purchase question. I want to use this theme for my employees. Is it possible to give them access to the website only if they have entered a username and password?
Setup the site and use free plugin “Restricted Site Access” ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/restricted-site-access/screenshots/ ) to give access to the website only if anyone enter username and password.

I’ve bought the software and I have a question. Is there a way to show every piece of documentation nested in the “parent/child” sidebar regardless of category? I want the entirety of my documentation on the homepage and nothing I do seems to show this. Something is always hidden.
Also do I need to use categories at all? I’ve having a really hard time linking to specific pieces of documentation. Here is the site with search applied: http://storyports.com/documentation/?s=test+1
Notice if you click an item it filters by categories (I changed my category slug to ‘support’). Why does it link to the category, not the post.
Also the only way I could get them all to show up is to make a single category and assign it to each one. So that’s what you are seeing.
Showing doc nav on the home page will be available from our upcoming version 1.4.5 (going to release soon)
Since you are making the change for the documentation section, the section which process the data based on the category.
You can create unlimited category and assign the docs to each one. Please add more doc category from the “doc category” section.

How can I display my documentation posts in the left “tree” without assigning them to categories at all.
Like i said before, it is needed to create category to process the result without assigning to the specific category the system will not display any result.

Will this be the case in the future? Will I need categories? the problem is I have to assign each post to a parent and a category. I want to be able to link to a piece of documentation without fear of things being hidden in the “tree” because they don’t share a category. The categories seem to force a limitation unless I’m SUPER careful about adding them to each post meticulously. am I missing something?
We will try to enhance this section if possible (but it is still needed to be discussed with the development team), but as far as i know you still need category it is kind of mandatory.

another same problem you add a feature in knowledge base possibility to organize order with Attibutes number when editing KB but I put an order …in render view it isn’t respected… this is always by DATE organized not with my number order… idea? ps:my template is Masonry Knowledge Base Without Sidebar … thanks in advance

My question is next: I have your theme as docs/kb in my app but I need it into my device but LOCAL… So I wrote all article/docs/kb on remote server but right now I need to export all data into json, what is the best solution to do this or reach this approach? your know the theme-logic better than me, so I need a plugin recommendation; and as always a useful help, thank you in advance
If i have to say honestly, have not export all data into json myself and its not good idea to recommended a plugin when i have not used single.
There are lots of JSON content exporter/importer available on the codex please choose one i am sure it will work great on your project.

Pre-purchase question. Can the user adjust header image size on pages? I don’t want the header image to be as large on pages that don’t have the search bar.

Header Image size adjust will be available by the end of this week, we are upgrading our theme to the version 1.4 where users are facilitated to design there own pages.

Please make sure theme has installed completely, sometimes error may occur if files are missing during installation.

If i am not wrong the instrustion are provided on how to fix it, if it can be fixed via admin area our support staff have fixed it, i will talk with the developer and let you know.
All your support staff did was change the permalink.so each page displays as ?p=123…..For SEO purposes we want the post name displayed. We logged in and changed this and the 404 continues. However, for the time being we can use it but please speak to the Dev as this theme is not working as it should. Yes we followed the instructions on how to fix and likewise your support team tried t fix it also and soon discovered they couldn’t fix it either…...I will wait to hear back when you get a response from the Dev,
Dev saying… Its not theme “manual” problem the problem related to name url where wordpress has installed plus they add if theme switched to any other, the site will generate same issue.
I have ask to make response with some more information related to issue.

I am confused. You are saying if it is switched to any other it will generate the same issue? This is not the case as we now have it as stated above and it wors but changing it to postname thats when we receive the 404 error. I have looked at other sites and others are not having this issue so it is only myself. It has been almost 4 days without a resolution….my apologies for being so harsh but I would have expected a little more support to resolve such issue.

HI, I was wondering about my last comment. About Documentation parent attributes. Can you make it link with multi parent? or Can I disable sub category from showing on Documentation main page? Because sub category could be an answer to me, but it’s still showing on main Documentation page.
Here is the page that I refer to. Documentation -> Custom Home Page
We will try to include feature where you can turn on/off to show sub category on the custom doc page, if we missed to include it on our upcoming version 1.4 which going to available within week, then the feature will be available on the version 1.4.1.

HI there. Thanks for the great theme. I have an issue which may seem silly. We have installed the theme to a sub folder of our main website. When we click on any link within the theme such as /kb/knowledgebase it give a 404 on our main website. This occur to every link except for the home page https://example.com/kb Has anyone else had this issue?
It looks like slug issue, Just go to “Manual Options -> Advance Features” and change “knowledgeable and Documentation” slugs.
Please follow the instruction correctly before changing the slugs. Once changed create the new record and try to once.
NOTE: Do not use old records for the live preview, Just CREATE THE NEW AND TRY TO SEE THE RESULT.

Thank you for the reply. I just tried that and I had already tried that too and still I receive a 404. I changed the knowledgebase and created a test page under knowledgebase and still receive a 404 page.

Hi. How do you change the header image for the individual document posts? There isn’t an upload image option like there is for everything else so the header is a generic white stucco kind of look.
Please, go to “Documentation -> Documentation Categories” and upload the image for the new and old category.

i can’t find the option for this, I’ve been looking everywhere.
The problem is the menu color help.autowebengine.comdoesn’t change on the forum like the other pages.
I can see header images to those section where theme does not provide options.
Please Note: The current version does not support the header image for the forum section except default pages. Soon (after immediate launch of the version 1.4), we going to enhance our forum section to the next level where users are facilitated to modify forum each section.
