Hello! I am working with the theme and the Homepage works well but the other pages doesn’t work, and it appears this message: The requested URL /explore/ was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello mireia, thank you for the questions. It looks like the host or your website config is not supporting WordPress permalinks. Who are you hosted with? The hosting company should be able to help you get WordPress permalinks working. Sometimes it’s a simple config / setting in your .htaccess file.

I have this presale question: The 1.5 version supports ICAL. Does that mean that it is possible to import an AIRBNB ICAL calandar and have that sync with the wpbooking system so that people can see availability in real time? I looked at wpbooking plugin and it does not mention this support, I therefore wanted to clarify this before purchase. Is there some kind of discussion or thread which explains how this functionality works? Thanks…looks great.
I’ve just seen the earlier question raised by a person on this so provide some comments of how it might work. Because when you import the airbnb ical it contains personal information about the booking it would make sense that the public view of the calandar (front end: seen by visitors) simply shows the calendar as booked. While it would be nice to push reservations received through the Bellvue system back to AIRBNB, this could get complicated. It is possible to provide AIRBNB with an ICAL file to import, but probably it would mean that two separate calandar layers are created in order that you don’t start sending back to AIRBNB those reservations that have already been sent via the import.

Thanks ninjaman, at this time the WP Booking System only supports iCal export , not import however we are working with the developer to add iCal import. He has asked some very specific questions on how it should work so I’ll be passing him this article that you have kindly posted and we’ll see what he comes back with. Thank you

Hello! Thanks for writing in. You can use the calendar virtually anywhere as it’s a shortcode although to use a video background in the slider you will need to use the pro version of Master Slider which is bundled with the theme. Master Slider is not styled to show the availability calendar in it but you can use the calendar on any page, included the homepages.
You can use any features you see on other demos in the one pager style.

I read the comments but I didn’t find the answear.. I have Polylang plugin installed and i have translated rooms slug, rewrite rules are working, but hovever all rooms have the same slug.
Example: EN site -> slug = apartments IT site -> slug = appartamenti(translated)
The URL is linking to /appartamenti/room-1, which is what I want, but there is no content, it’s 404 page.

Try flushing your permalinks by going to settings / permalinks / – then try again.

I did flush the permalinks, but translated slug is not working. If you do not translate the rooms slug, than it works. Settings custom rooms slug is working, translated rooms slug is not working.

Hi lovejin, the theme currently supports two levels in the navigation, so a third level will not display. However I think a great solution is to use a dash or bullet point to denote a third level, like so: http://grab.by/MhYg
It’s not a full fledged third level, but one benefit to this method is that users are much less likely to accidentally close the dropdown as can happen with multiple levels of flyout menus

Hi, I really love the template and want to use it. The one thing I have noticed is that it is for multiple accommodations types (different rooms etc.) whereas my accommodation is just one house, with two bedrooms. They can book the house with main bedroom for x-amount and it will be extra money for an extra person/or couple but fits a maximum of 4 people.
Is this something which can be achieved via this theme?
Waiting eagerly as I want to purchase the theme in a day or two

Hi there! Yes, the theme is flexible like that. You could have two sections, one to book the house and 1 room, and then another to book the house and both rooms. Both sections can use the same availability data but each section can snap into a different WooCommerce product so that you have different pricing, you can even use the same product with variable pricing. We have CSS to allow you to show the rooms in 2 columns, 3, 4 and 5. I ran your scenario over and I think it will work just fine.

Nice theme!! On the homepage (rooms section), i only have 4 rooms. Will the layout adapt to 2 columns and 2 rows? Or it stays the same 3 columns ?
On the demo have 6 types of rooms, so it looks good for 3 columns…what if i only have 4 types?

Pre sale question: i’m not sure to understand how the payment gateway works. On the WP Booking plugin page, they said they don’t handle payment. Could you maybe explain how to link WP booking with woocommerce?
On your demo it seems that you have to enter information first, then send this first form. go to checkout RE-enter information and finally checkout..?

Hello, thanks for asking. We’ve modified the WP Booking System to snap into WooCommerce so you can use any of the gateways that WooCommerce supports. At the moment the booking info needs to be entered and then the customer continues to the WooCommerce checkout. Since the booking info is short (Email, Name, Phone or whatever you wish) we think it works well.

Yes the first form can be very simple, just email but yes your visitor makes the reservation and that gets logged and email notification sent, then the checkout step. It’s pretty smooth. Cheers.

I’m currently developing a website using the Bellevue theme for an art hostel. We love the format of the Rooms section and would like to use the same formatting for our Artists section.
I can accomplish this using the Room filtering, but the url will still give the artist pages Rooms as a parent.
Is there a method to have a specific room category assigned to a different parent page? Or can you provide/suggest a workaround?
This way I could produce all artists as rooms under category ‘artists’, remove that category from our rooms page and display only that category on our artists page.

Hi yes! Have you tried the Theme Options under / Theme Options / Rooms / Room Slug? After you change it , save your changes, then visit the Settings / Permalink page to refresh your permalinks (no need to make any changes here just visit the settings / permalinks page). Then test it out.

Hi Nathan! Sorry, we only have one custom post type for either rooms or artists. I’m sure there is a way but it would require custom code and a good amount of work. I’m sure someone from codeable.io would be able to help unless you were comfortable editing the core code. We’ve also included a child them to assist with making custom core changes easier .

Hi. We are looking for a nice theme for a small hotel, and this theme is of interest, but we want to ask a couple of pre sale questions if you don’t mind. Our client does not want a visitor to be able to reserve a room on a particular date,( because they will not be able to keep updating availability to ensure the dates are correct.) Is it possible to have it so a visitor can choose their preferred dates, and then this is submitted to our client so they can check availability and reply to the visitor manually by email? Thank you
Hello and thanks for your question. Yes, the calendars can be set to auto-pending or you can turn that feature off allowing you to take multiple bookings until you can confirm manually. The ‘add to cart’ feature is also optional.

Yes, it’s actually added via shortcode so if you leave the shortcode out or disable the plugin you’ll be fine Very flexible.

Thanks! Just talking this over with our developer and it’s more involved than I thought. Unless there is a way to tap in using the functions file we have to make adjustments to the custom post type plugin. Sorry, it’s something I need to look into more. If you were to give your editor the direct link to edit the post type can they get access? Example: yourdomain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=themo_slider ?
